38 Deck the Thralls

It had been a week since the oddities had arrived, allowing them enough time to get used to the workings of the Coven. Now it was time to train them, following in the footsteps of his own training with Zarra they had gathered in a field.

"So are you aware of why I brought you here" asked Draig internally smiling, he wondered if this was how Zarra had felt.

Draig shook his head.

'Of course he did that bastard' thought Draig before looking at Terra, Alice, and Stein.

"Tina said it was to train" answered Alice causing Draig to frown, he had been snitched.

"Good, then do you know how this training is going to go" asked Draig a bit spiteful at having his surprise ruined.

"No Lord" answered Alice, her appearance had become more feral over the week as her class integrated.

"Good" muttered Draig but it was still picked up by Alice with her superior hearing.

Before she could say anything Draig had disappeared from their sight and appeared before Stein grabbing him by the feet. Terra and Alice tried to react but found Stein being swung at them as if a sword.

"You can't grow stronger if you don't fight back." called Draig throwing the Death Knight and pelting Terra with his body.

Terra threw Stein away and stood up before charging at Draig but was met with a rock knocking against her head sending her flying once again. Alice narrowed her eyes as her instincts kicked in and charged at Draig quickly but was quickly deflected by Draig stomping on the ground sending a pillar to crash into her body, laughing to himself he felt a rather decent hit and saw Stein squared up in a boxer's stance.

"That's the spirit, but there's no weight behind those punches" stated Draig decking Stein across the face.

Draig began to laugh lightly as a tune came to mind, it was almost Christmas and he was mildly entertained by it.

'Deck the Thralls with a fires Volley, mwahahahaha-da ha ha ha. Oh I'll give a reason to not Folly, hahahahaha a ha ha ha. There you go now, keep on running. Cause here I come, another one, bites the dust.' Draig was grinning stupidly as he thought of these lyrics.

Draig continued to beat the Thralls mercilessly until they began learn slowly, they were still being beaten within an inch of their lives but at least now they could manage a few hits before they were taken out of commission.

"Why are you all laying around" asked Draig looking at the three panting heavily while lying on the ground covered in blood and bruises.

"We can't keep going, Lord" wheezed Stein weakly, he had made the most improvement and thus received the worst beating.

Draig shook his head and tossed them three potions.

"Drink up, I'm not done with you all yet." stated Draig.

The Thralls were silently weeping, even Terra with her haughty nature couldn't help but grieve for their fate. Stein stood back up getting an approving gaze from Draig.

'This is how a Death Knight should be, he just needs to grow stronger and increase his stamina. These other two are showing improvement but they are disappointing, a Werewolf that is to meek to fight and a Demon King that has accepted being suppressed.' thought Draig analytically

"You two up now." commanded Draig causing the two to forcefully stand because of the effect of having the Thrall status.

"You two are pathetic, a Werewolf is supposed to be an existence that is on par with a Vampire like yours truly. Then there's the Demon King, you are supposed to rein over the demonic Plane. Instead of these two incredible powers, I have two weaklings who are acting like mortals. You fools need to understand we are no longer Human, you are a Werewolf, you are a Demon, and you are a Death knight. As you progress further you will become less human, you will truly become your Class's namesake. Now fight me" ordered Draig shocking the two girls with this speech while Stein had already learned a bit and had come to that conclusion.

"I said Fight." commanded Draig narrowing his eyes.

Stein wasted no time and charged back in but was caught by the neck instantly, he stared at the two Oddities that hadn't moved yet.

"I ordered you to fight me. I need soldiers who can help me in the future not two leeches who are sucking away resources I could be using to groom other's who are willing to fight." stated Draig as he tossed Stein away.

Terra looked towards the ground gritting her teeth, clearly she had some kind of emotional block going but Draig was aware. He had been the same when he first met Zarra, Alice wasn't any better.

"If you have pent up anger and frustrations then take them out on me, come and let me see what you got." stated Draig causing the two girls to look at him oddly.

Terra was the first as she charged in a bit of heat forming around her fist, Draig decided to dodge that hit to play it safe but was intercepted by claws clashing against his back. Turning his head slightly he saw Alice baring her own fangs causing a smile to form on his face. It was at this moment that Draig received a third strike from a above, there stood Stein crashing from the sky his fist cocked back.

Draig felt his blood come alive as he was finally getting through to them, he then began a second merciless strike but this time they kept coming back for more even after their bones broke and their flesh tore.

Draig was pleased with this outcome and tossed them potions as he watched them struggle to get to him.

"You guys are doing much better, drink up so we can go again" said Draig smiling cruelly, little did the Oddities know they were in for a long two weeks.
