92 Awakening and Revelations

Draig awoke with a start as he looked around, the place he was currently at was nothing like the dead land that the founder had shown him. It looked like a cavern of sorts but in the center was a casket with a woman sitting atop it's black frame, Draig naturally assumed she was the reason for his being there.

"Who are you" stated the Feratu as he silently stood from the ground while dusting off his clothes.

"It's about time you woke up" answered the woman while she continued to stare off into space seemingly watching something in the distance but it was just them in the cavern.

"I repeat, who are you" demanded Draig disliking his question going unanswered.

"It isn't important, what is important is that it's almost time for the game to start" giggled the woman as she finally cast her eyes at Draig causing him feel a power greater than anything he had ever encountered.

"What are you" asked Draig gritting his teeth as he felt the pressure in the room increasing.

"I am what you might call God, more acurately to say the Real God. Feras used to entertain me by playing the games I had arranged" smiled the woman as several illusions seemed to open up before him causing him a great deal of confusion.

"What are these" asked Draig looking at the different images, each depicting a different event or different type of people.

"These are just a few of the Games that I had prepared before Feras made a deal to get me a replacement toy, they have gone a bit unmonitored during my sleep but I think that should make the game more fun" smirked the Woman as Draig felt something odd happening to him.

"Don't worry time will be at a stand still here so you wont miss a thing" chuckled the Woman as Draig felt some of his power leaving him.

"What's happening to me" asked Draig as he turned his eyes towards the woman.

"It's the rules of the game, your only allowed to take one ability you have to the other worlds and learn to fight by their standards" teased the woman cutely.

"What Game and what do you mean only one ability" demanded Draig as he hated feeling the power he had finally obtained fade away slowly.

"A game of Survival silly, don't worry though. If you win you get to keep something of your choice" Smiled the woman as she seemed to be very excited about the supposed game.

"What about the abilities I have gained from this world" asked Draig as he was certain he understood now what was happening.

"Simple after you pick that ability you want to keep the rest will then be deleted, your only a new player after all." smiled the woman as she silently began thinking of where she would send him first.

This left Draig with a difficult decision if he had to choose only a single ability to take with him, he wasn't sure which of his talents would prove more useful for the upcoming journey and thus couldn't make a decision.

"I will give you some time but don't take too long" stated the woman seeing the pause in Draig's eyes as he accepted his current weakening condition.

Draig thought carefully about it before he came to a curious question.

"Does my Vampire body count as an ability" asked Draig wondering if he would keep the natural superiority of being a Vampire.

"Don't be ridiculous, one's existence is not an ability." huffed the woman thinking that Draig had come to a decision only to be disappointed.

Draig nodded and began to think even harder, he had the Silent God substituting as his heart giving him the whole range of abilities and classes for this world but from what the woman was saying they would all be gone after he made his choice.

'This is simply to difficult, I could choose any of the abilities of the Feratu but then what if that puts me at the disadvantage for this so called game.' thought Draig as he continued to think he bit his thumb nail in thought.

'This boy had better hurry or I will decide for him' thought the Woman with a growl but still time seemed to pass by slowly.

Draig cycled through each of the classes in his head and then each of the abilities as well but it was simply too difficult to decide as this decision literally held his future at stake. There were far too many abilities and skills for him to decide, each had it's own merits and shortcomings.

"Can you at least tell me where I'll be going before I decide" asked Draig as he felt himself become completely drained.

"That would be losing half the fun" grunted the woman.

Draig closed his eyes as he settled his thoughts, magic was seeming like his best bet then. The reason being that magic would usually always reign over physical combat abilities.

'Still though, I would like to take one of the Feratu Bloodline traits with me' thought Draig.

The woman stared and felt herself becoming impatient.

'Is it really so difficult, just how many abilities does someone need to have to become this indecisive' wondered the woman as she started to tap her foot in anger.

"Have you decided yet" growled the woman as she was truly impatient but on top of this Draig had been in the cavern for some time now and still hadn't made a decision but he still hadn't even finished processing all of the talents hidden within the silent god system.

"It is impossible for me to decide, I am afraid that it may very well fall to your decision." answered Draig as he sighed, it was truly a difficult task.

"Very well then does that mean you are foregoing your right to choose" asked the Woman clarifying

"Maybe, give me a few moments longer and I shall" stated Draig as he began thinking truly in depth of the skills he did use.
