Ba-rrring, Ba-rrring, Ba-rrring.
Ba-rrring, Ba-rrring, Ba-rrring.
The moment the noise started I turned over to figure out what the noise was. Coming to find out it was my phone. . . .
"Damn it!"
I had just realized my phone had been going off for the past 20 minutes when I checked the time on it. I had set up a few alarms just incase I didn't wake up, and sadly that was the case. The phone was literally on its last alarm.
"How could I have slept so damn long! This is ridiculous!!"
I jumped out of bed in a rush to get to the bathroom to get cleaned up. While I was getting cleaned up, my phone started to ring. Sadly I was unable to answer it and had to have it go straight to voicemail. When I had gotten out of the shower after about 10 minutes, I decided to go and look at my phone to figure out who had called me. When I looked at it, it was a weirdly long number. Usually when numbers called they only had 10 or 11 numbers, but this one had 16. The number that had called didn't leave a voicemail so I ignored it for now. After getting cleaned up the rest of the way and throwing my clothes onto myself, I ran downstairs to grab a piece of toast. When I was about to run out the front door my mother yelled at me.
"HEY!" She yelled.
"Sorry mom, I am running really late already! What do you need?" I said.
"Can you not give your mother a hug and kiss before you go barreling through the house in the morning??" She commented with a slight mocking tone.
"Grr. . . . ." I growled.
So I decided to run back to her to give her a hug and a kiss, then I ran back to the front door and left the house!
I was currently running my way to the area bus station to catch a ride to the Comic Con I had decided to go to earlier this week. It was 2 hours away from where I lived, so I had to make sure I reach the station on time.
I had finally reached the bus station after about 20 minutes, and I bȧrėly made it on time to hop onto the bus.
On my way to Comic Con I had received a text from my best friend.
Devin:
Hey man, where are you at??
I am currently on my way to the Comic
Con that I had told you about last week.
Devin:
Oh nice! I'm already here waiting
on you to show up!
Jason:
Well I'll be there in about an hour!
So I'll see you soon bud!
Devin:
After the text messages, I decided to close my eyes for a little bit before I had reached my destination. When I was sitting there with my eyes closed I began to dream something weird. It had started with me falling through a black hole in the floor, and then it brought me up to a point to where I was like in a game creation screen. It was really weird because I had never had a dream like this before. When I had decided to test out this dream, I had heard a weird noise coming from somewhere. When I decided to look around, the area went black and then I slowly opened my eyes. It was the bus driver saying we had arrived at the comic con.
I grabbed my bag and walked off the bus. I decided to wait near where the bus dropped me off and texted Devin.
Jason:
Hey just got here! I'm where
the bus drops people off at.
Devin:
Alrighty, on my way!
I didn't have to wait too long for him to show up.
"Yo!" I yelled to Devin.
"Hey mate!" Devin said while charging towards me.
We gave each other knucks and then started walking towards the entrance of the building with the Comic Con in it. Once we had arrived at the entrance we ended up buying the tickets for the Premium Pass, which cost quite a bit of money. For one person to have Premium Pass, it had cost them $200. Luckily I had been saving for quite awhile in order to go to this comic con. Once we had paid and had received our Premium Pass necklaces, we decided to walk in and check out the place. The place had tons of different products which we could buy, anime areas, movie props, actor/actress signings, and tons more!
"Holy shit!" Devin exclaimed!
"I know man, this place is amazing! They have got everything here!" I said right after he exclaimed.
We decided to walk around and take a look at everything we possibly could.
After a bit I motioned him to stop at this one stall. It was different then the rest of the stalls. It only had a person sitting behind a table and that was it. I decided to try and talk to the person behind the table.
"Hello, I was wondering what you've got to show us?" I decided to ask the person. I can't really tell if the person was male or female.
I waited there for a few moments, but the person didn't even look up at us or anything. I started to feel really weird all of a sudden, but decided to put that feeling at the back of my mind. I turned to Devin who was also looking at the person weirdly too.
"Hey, why don't we walk away from this stall. It's kind of creeping me out." I whispered into Devin's ear.
When I said that, I noticed that Devin started to look pale. He turned towards me and nodded his head. We started to walk away from the person when suddenly we heard a noise. We turned around and we finally got to see the person's face. It was a dark skinned lady with a beautiful face. It wasn't really dark skinned though, it was more like a dark grey. Which is really weird for me. The lady then looked right at me with a smile and decided to finally say something, but towards me only.
"I'll see you soon." The lady said to me while chuckling.
"Let us get out of here!!" I yelled at Devin.
We ran away from the table for a distance, until we were unable to see her or the table. When we stopped I had noticed that I had stopped breathing since the lady started to chuckle. I looked over at Devin and he was breathing hard. I had decided that we should keep moving and go around the other stalls for now. Once we had view all of the stalls and had bought a few items, I had noticed the time had already gone by quickly.
"Hey Devin, I think it is time we head out. It is already close to 4pm and we have already seen everything here." I said to Devin.
"Yeah I think you are right. You going to ride a bus home or do you want a ride?" He asked me.
"I'll ride the bus home. I had bought a round trip ticket at the bus station earlier. I might as well use it." I told him.
So we parted ways at the bus stop once my bus showed up. It had taken me close to two hours before I made it back at the station. I decided to walk home while I thought about what the lady said to me. It really threw me for a loop. When I got to an intersection, I wasn't paying attention to it when suddenly there was a horn blowing to the left of me. I turned my head and all I saw was the front end of a truck before I blacked out.
