Chapter 36 - Heading out!

"So, Titus. Tell me about this town? Is there anyone still inside of it? Does it have anyone in charge of the town? How are its defenses?" I started to ask him.

"Well first off, the town isn't very big. Secondly, there are people inside of the town, but sadly it is mostly adventurer's. Most of the civilians have died due to wolf attacks. As far as anyone in charge? I'm honestly not too sure, the Mayor was the one in charge, but it has been a week since I was there last. Its defenses are terrible! You can literally see everything from outside the town. The walls it had up are mostly broken down, and every time a new one was put up, the Druid ended up destroying it!" He then told me.

"Hmm. . . It would seem this Druid person is a lot stronger than I had thought. I will definitely need your help Arialle." I told her while looking over at her.

"It would seem you might be right, especially if he or she keeps destroying the walls around the town." She commented.

"I will figure something out once we run into the town. You mentioned the town being 4 hours away from us correct?" I then asked Titus.

"Correct, the town was being surrounded by the wolves, I was lucky to leave the town without being noticed." He told us.

"You was able to scurt the wolves senses? Are you a Rogue?" I then asked him.

"Yes I'm a Rogue, actually I'm like Arialle. An Assassination Rogue." He then told me.

"Hahaha. . . Perfect! That means you two can hide until the Druid pops out, and once he does we can all three attack him! Well technically 5 of us." I laughed before stating that.

"Uh. . . Ok. . . You really think I will be of much help?" Titus then asked me.

"Well are you close to Arialle's Level?" I then asked him.

"Hmm. . . Give me a sec here." I told him.

{Zoe, is there any way I could talk to Arialle without speaking out loud?}

{Alright Zoe, how do I use it now?}

[Just think about the Chat Box, and it will open up. It will have the Party Members names to the left side of it, and once you send a message, it will pop up in front of them. Now once they send their message, it will be sent to you, but it won't pop up right in front of you. It will pop up right below your Character in your vision. To open it again, just think about the Chat Box one more time.]

Just like she told me, a box popped up right in front of me in my vision, and I was able to see the Party Members on the right side of the box. I then thought about what I would say to Arialle. It didn't take me long to think about it.

[[Arthrall: Hey Arialle can you read this? If you can just nod your head real quick. To say anything back to me, just think about what you want to say. It will automatically input into the Chat Box.]]

After that, I looked straight at Arialle. She was looking at Titus, then she had a surprised look on her face. It took her a moment to realize what it was, she then looked right at me, and nodded. Then as soon as she nodded, I had a notification pop up on the right side of my vision. It was how Zoe had told me, there was a little piece of mail sitting below my Character.

[[Arialle: What?? How?? I'm so confused right now. . . Did you get this from the System you told me about?]]

[[Arthrall: Yep I did. I'm glad you didn't make a sound when this popped up on your end.]]

[[Arthrall: Well just to let you know, while you are in this, the real world moves extremely slow. So you are able to send this stuff while talking to someone, or in a battle.]]

[[Arialle: Now I wish I had a System too. . .]]

[[Arthrall: Wow. . . He is actually lower than I had thought he would be.]]

[[Arialle: All I know is, we went to the same teacher, but he ended up leaving before we were finished.]

"So what Level are you?" I asked Titus.

"Oh, I'm Level 8. Actually I just turned Level 8 right before I found you." He told me.

"Hmm. . . Alright, yeah you will be able to help. Let us go ahead, and head towards the town first. By the way, what is the name of the town?" I asked.

"Oh, didn't I already tell you?" He then asked.

"No. . . All you mentioned was a town. Never the name of it." I told him.

"Oh, well I'm sorry. The town's name is Iron Rock. It is surrounded by iron rock, it used to be a mining town." He told me.

"Wait. . . A mining town? Hmm. . . Alright, that makes it a little bit easier on trying to figure out what the Druid wants with the town then." I commented.

"It does?" Arialle and Titus then asked.

"Yeah, it does. The Druid is wanting something from the mining tunnels probably. That would be the only thing I could think of. Maybe a really powerful gem, or rock is further inside of the tunnels." I told them.

"Well that would make sense, I mean they did end up opening up a tunnel that ran into an old underground town. It could very well be there." He told us.

"We need to head to the Iron Rock immediately! Let's head out!" I told the both of them.
