Feng Tianlan’s face became hotter. “Finish what you were saying.”

“Maybe they were all protecting something or on some sort of mission. The Luo Family should be the same.” Si Mobai looked at Feng Tianlan and did not say much else. “Wait until I reach the Xuantian Continent, then I will investigate this matter. Right now, you just have to practice hard. I will wait for you on the Xuantian Continent.”

These three forces were merely small branches on a big tree. The other branches were intricate and couldn’t be explained for the time being. They still need to conduct an investigation.

Somehow, the Luo Family must be related to the forces on the Xuantian Continent.

Feng Tianlan let out a soft ‘uh-huh,’ then asked, “When are you departing?”

“In a while,” he murmured. He’d wanted to leave earlier but had waited until Tianlan returned to see her once more.

Feng Tianlan lifted her head and looked at him. She quickly lowered her gaze and said, “When you arrive at the Xuantian Continent, you must watch out for the Shen Family and the Jiang Family—the three greatest alliances.”

“Uh-huh,” answered Si Mobai softly. “Go back to your room and go back to sleep.” He didn’t ask Feng Tianlan how she knew so much. He believed that she would tell him everything, sooner or later.

Feng Tianlan wanted to take the cloak off and return it to him, but he stopped her. He said firmly, “Wear it back to your room. Next time, don’t forget to wear thicker clothes in cold weather.”

Feng Tianlan glanced at him and nodded slightly. She turned around and went back to her room. She left a small gap as she closed the door and peeked at Si Mobai’s back as he turned and left. His back was soaking wet as a result of blocking the snowstorm for Feng Tianlan.

Feng Tianlan wrapped up in her cloak tightly and shut her eyes, trying not to think so much.

“Tianlan, was His Highness here?”

Right after Feng Tianlan took off the cloak, hung it up properly, and turned around, she saw Luo Yunzhu looking at her with her eyes wide open. Her bright eyes made it appear as if she’d been up for a while instead of suddenly waking.

“His Highness treats you so well, so you must cherish him and accept him sooner rather than later.” After saying this, Luo Yunzhu shut her eyes.

Feng Tianlan frowned and replied, “Yunzhu.”

“I am tired. If there’s anything that you want to say, please leave it for tomorrow.” Luo Yunzhu turned her back to her friend. Tianlan had said that she wanted to accompany her. Yunzhu had lost her whole family, yet Tianlan was still in the mood to meet up with His Highness in the middle of the night.

If Tianlan were to rendezvous with His Highness tomorrow, she would have felt a little bit better. However, what right did she have to make demands of Tianlan? She was already feeling terrible, so what would be the point in making Tianlan feel as awful as her?

However, in the end, Luo Yunzhu still felt discontented.

Feng Tianlan stood beside the bed and looked at Luo Yunzhu’s back. She let out a long sigh in her heart as she crawled into bed beside her friend. She would talk to her about the incident the next day.

Neither of them could fall asleep for the rest of the night. This was their first time having a small argument. No matter how close two people were, there would always be disagreements. The same was true for Yunzhu and Tianlan.

The next morning, Luo Yunzhu woke up very early. Feng Tianlan, who was always a light sleeper, woke up early as well.

Luo Yunzhu sat on the bed and apologized sincerely, “Tianlan, I’m sorry about last night.” She had no right to ask Feng Tianlan to be sad with her. She’d gone overboard last night.

She had always hoped that Tianlan would accept the Wargod sooner rather than later. Right now, Tianlan’s attitude towards him had changed, which was good news, so she shouldn’t be mad at Tianlan.

“Uh-huh?” Feng Tianlan was slightly confused.

“Last night, I was mad at you. I am sorry,” Luo Yunzhu apologized sincerely.

Feng Tianlan giggled and said, “It’s alright. There ought to be friction from time to time.” No matter how good their relationship was, they would still argue one day. She wasn’t bothered by this reality at all.

“However, rest assured. I am not jealous, and I am not in love with the Wargod,” Luo Yunzhu was quick to explain because she was worried that Feng Tianlan would overthink everything. Even if she were jealous, she would be jealous of the Wargod who’d snatched Tianlan away from her in the middle of the night.
