Feng Tianlan flashed a small smile as she slowly approached Chen Xinlu. Her lofty figure towered over her, and there was an aggressive look on her face. “I want to show favoritism. What are you going to do about it?”

“Your man hired assassins to target us. You should compensate us.” Chen Xinlu lifted her head up and looked straight at Feng Tianlan. Even though she was intimidated by how aggressive and cold Feng Tianlan was, she was still as brazen as before.

It was the Bailan Alliance’s honorary Guest Token that they were talking about here. With one of those tokens in her hands, their future days in Xuantian Continent would pass by unimpeded. Few people would dare to stir up trouble with them.

Feng Tianlan glanced at Chen Xinyi, who was standing to the side, afraid to utter a word. Then, she looked at the self-righteous and unbridled Chen Xinlu, raised her hand, and viciously slapped her across the face.

Stunned, Chen Xinlu fell down, and her forehead knocked against the corner of the table. The adornments in her hair went flying, leaving her hair disheveled. She pressed her hand against her burning face and furiously looked up at Feng Tianlan, bellowing in fury, “You hit me!”

“That’s right. I hit you.” Feng Tianlan lifted her foot and gave her a mighty kick, toppling her over. Then, she stamped her foot on her face. “I should’ve slapped you a long time ago.”

If it weren’t for the fact that Chen Xinlu had been reasonably well-behaved during this trip and hadn’t gone out of her way to provoke her, Feng Tianlan would’ve beaten her up a long time ago. She actually had the guts to demand that she give her the Bailan Alliance token. She was obviously the younger sister, and yet she’d had the nerve to speak to her older sister like that. She was just asking for a beating.

“Master Shen, Lu’er…”

In one motion, Feng Tianlan stomped down on the hand Chen Xinlu had raised to strike back at her. She looked up and glared coldly at Chen Xinyi. “You shut up.”

“Master Shen.” Chen Xinyi’s eyes reddened and she felt wronged. How could he shout at her like that?

“Let… Let go of me.” Chen Xinlu wanted to fight back, but she soon realized that it was practically impossible to move, so she frantically flailed her feet instead.

Feng Tianlan increased her pressure as she stomped on her face. She glared at Chen Xinyi. “Who’s the younger sister. You or her? As the older sister, are you just going to let your younger sister bully you like this?”

“Mother and Father said that I should give way since she’s younger…”

“Give way? You’ve given her so much space that she’s now sh*tting on your head.” Feng Tianlan trampled Chen Xinlu’s shin so hard that Chen Xinlu started howling and wailing. When she saw Chen Xinyi timidly bow her head, a sudden wave of annoyance came over her. “If you continue yielding to her, you’ll be dead before you know it.”

“But she…” Chen Xinyi glanced at Chen Xinlu, who’d been trampled all over, and felt cornered. Her mother and father were partial to her younger sister. It wasn’t like she didn’t know this.

“Shut up.” Feng Tianlan forcefully stepped on Chen Xinlu’s face. She raised her head and looked at Chen Xinyi. “Let me ask you. Did you instigate the incidents that happened yesterday morning and last night?”

Chen Xinyi went blank for a moment. Then, she lowered her head, not daring to utter a word. It was an unspoken admission of guilt. She responded feebly, “My sister advised me to do it. But she wouldn’t have done it if she hadn’t held some hope that it’d work.”

“…” Feng Tianlan gawked at Chen Xinyi, completely stunned that she had defended Chen Xinlu. “Are you stupid or what?”

Chen Xinyi nodded her head slightly and quietly acknowledged it. She’d committed folly for his sake!

“…” Feng Tianlan was rendered utterly speechless by her and simply decided to ignore her. She lowered her head and stared coldly at Chen Xinlu. “I hate people who rely on someone’s affection to bully them, especially when it involves sisters. They snatch whatever they can from each other. Even men. How despicable.”

Chen Xinlu was irate. She wanted to look up and glare at Feng Tianlan, but she was unable to lift up her head. She could only glare at the corner of the table.

“In the future, if you still dare to act so arrogantly and bully your sister and others as though you’re acting reasonably on behalf of the good of the world, I’ll cripple you right then and there.” As Feng Tianlan said this, she gave her another mighty kick.
