84 How Dare you?

Name:The Tiger Within Author:Valinteena
Realizing how important it was not to be found out, Kyera cleared her throat and offered a understanding smile to the older woman, who looked as though she would cry. "I know, I never dreamed i would see this in the palace." Kyera's sorrow seemed to insinuate that the wound of the cat was the reason for their distress. To the humans she sounded as though she was reassuring her about the wound but the double meaning to her words was clear to the cats.

Aggie cleared her throat, blinking back the tears as she handed Kyera the wooden box. "It's a pity to see such a thing even in such a sacred place. Were you able to get the wound clean? Fairy Water?" Aggie asked quickly directing her attention to the wounded she had been called to treat. The wooden box's lock was easy enough to open and the hinges made not a sound as she slide them back. Six vials of golden liquid was corked and waiting to be used inside the case. Kyera gave her a odd look.

"Were they not green last we used it?" Kyera asked curiously, taking a vial and uncorking it. She sniffed the liquid and took in the different aromas and powers in side the fluid. It smelled very similar to the same thing she had used before, but now there was a underlying sent. It was one that danced like rain through the trees in the coolest of fall rains. "Silver kissed Ivy?" She asked curiously.

"Should have known you would recognize it, My dear. Yes. Its silver Ivy. Hopefully it will keep any infections from taking hold in the wounds of soul left by that venom. Just a precaution." Aggie replied as Kyera dripped several drops of the golden medicine into the skin and watched as it soaked into the tortured tissues. The lion seemed to relax as though the rest of the pain was relieved.

"Here, pour the rest into his mouth, I will begin stitching him up." Kyera replied taking the mending kit out of the kit. Mally took the vial and began administering it to her while Kyera focused on mending what she could of the skin back together but frowning as she tried. The gap was too wide for her to pull the skin across. That realization made her frown deepen.

Beckoning the fairy over, she once again opened the bag and took out a pebble sized ball of water and placed it into the wound and used her magic to form a bandage across the gap. Kyera drenched the cloth bandages in the same Fairy water before looking at the guard's nearby. "Prince Alexi can you get a couple guards to help stabilize him? I need to wrap his wound." Kyera asked looking at the Second Prince for help. Alexi pointed at a pair of guards and waved him over.

"Help her." He ordered without hesitation. Kyera gently roused the lion and smiled at him.

"Why, Why would you wish such evil on me?" The Queen asked and Kyera was dumbstruck for a moment… unsure of how to respond to this. What was she to say to such a shameless remark?

"My Lady, I apologize for the misunderstanding. You are on his uninjured side, and I am on the injured side… so it makes sense that if he falls we do not want him landing on his wound." Kyera explained in her most soothing tone. There was no need to hype that woman up right now. THe Queen smiled.
