His hands came to rest on either side of Kyera's head, fingers lightly touching the temple. To outsiders he looked very concerned but his expression changed to extreme sadness, after several moments tears ran down his cheeks and his eyes were sad. Half eye drained as much of the emotional overload off, trying to give her back a fighting chance.
"What is going on? How is she?" Clovis asked after several moments. He had been waiting at the door for there to be a break in the treatment but now he felt uneasy. A healer crying over his patient often meant nothing good. Half Eye slowly pulled his consciousness back from her, and soothed her hair with a gentle hand.
"She is not dying, Your Majesty. Between the state of her mind and the wounds on her body mixed with whatever taint he used to put her to sleep is what keeps her asleep. You do not put one who has been struck in the head to sleep with herbs like this so quickly." Half Eye replied honestly annoyed to find traces of incense smoke on her hair. He was lucky that Kyera had not slipped into a worse comma state or that healer wouldn't survive till morning.
"I see. She will wake soon then?" Clovis asked walking closer to him, his eyes tracing Kyera's unnervingly calm face.
"She should. It would be best to allow her to rest outside if possible. Your palace is magnificent but our kind pull our strength from the forest and earth." Half Eye started off hand. Lazren coughed and glanced over at Half Eye as if warning him.
"I see… Perhaps my garden then? I have a hammock of sorts there she would be safe in. Its under a pavilion so she won't need worry about the weather…" Clovis offered and Half Eye thought for a moment. It would be best to move her somewhere the shadows were wild and not tamed by shapes within a room like this. Angles and rounds were nice but there was too much control for her magic to move freely.
"Yes. That would be satisfactory." Half Eye agreed standing up to move out of the way. He was too old now to pick her up steadily. He may be called her Master here, but he knew his hands were not permitted to carry his Princess.
"I will move her there then." Lazren offered, leaning down and scooping her up. Clovis frowned slightly but then offered a sweet smile as if it didn't bother him in the slightest. He wasn't really sure why it did.
"Kyera, Kyera Mei.." Akira tried to reach her daughter with her voice and call her out of this dream. The terror and pain in her eyes tore at Akira's heart. Any doubt she had of her son's death being violent dissipated into the night air. The girl shuddered violently as tears fell from her eyes. Clovis finally pushed them away and knelt at her side.
"Kyera…" He whispered softly before he began to sing softly a song he had heard her sing to Raina only days before. The soft gentle tones of the lyrics almost sultry in his warm deep voice. She seemed to still, her body still tense to fight but he never reached for her. He sang softly hoping to soothe her further. No one dared make a sound beyond the Prince's voice.
