Kyera and Raina stopped their footwork and smiled at him. Clovis swept a playful bow and held his hand out for Raina. Before she had a chance to touch his hand, Clovis swept her up, spinning before settling his daughter in his arms. Kyera laughed, the sound of bells and the laughter of the child paired well with it.
"It seems you two are both in a better humor." Clovis's statement sounded like praise. Kyera smiled.
"We just have not had any female bonding time and now to find out about the baby we needed reassurance we still wanted each other." Kyera explained as she tickled Raina who laughed and wiggled to escape her fingers.
"AH, I see. So the ladies needed lady time. Don't worry, if you get a little brother I will make sure my pretty girls get their girl time." Clovis promised as they walked up the stairs to their rooms. Kyera smiled as she led the way up smiling knowingly at Raina. Both girls giggled as they entered the bed room.
"Why don't you and Daddy get ready for bed, I am going to get things settled." Kyera asked offering a sweet smile to the father and daughter pair. Raina nodded and skipped off to her rooms to change, while her father hesitated. There was something in Kyera's eyes that made him wonder if he should leave her alone.
Kyera walked to him, and his eyes followed her, his chin tilting down to look at her as she stood directly in front of him. She lifted up onto her toes and kissed him lightly. He met the touch and that light kiss became a warm sensual moment of two Hearts meeting. Then she pulled away, half an breath from his lips "Go get ready for bed." She whispered but he slid both arms around her back, trapping her.
"No, not when I know that your trying to bribe me into leaving. What's wrong love?" He asked, his eyes amused at the guilty blush on her cheeks. The honey trap only worked if he let it, and the gods knew he was struggling against it. In the end concern and love won out.
"I just need to tend to business real quick. I got a letter from a old friend and I want to read it alone." Kyera replied softly, knowing there was no reason to lie. She didn't want a. Relationship built on falsehood.
"I see. Well, I will go change then. If you need me just call me." He replied kissing her again, as a offering before he let her go. She smiled as he turned and walked to the door. Kyera watched him go, though it wasn't long it was still a nice view.
Kyera let her claws extend from her fingers and slit the seal. The top fold of paper was suddenly free. Inside was a single sheet of paper with careful brush strokes in traditional forest writing. There were odd symbols occasionally and Kyera nodded as she translated them in her head.
'May Three Cats Fine Solace Together' she smiled and then began to read the letter itself, her lips moving a bit as she did.
'Princess, I am am sorry things left off as they did. I will not apologize for what I said, however I never meant for that to be the last thing we said to each other. I had waited to speak to you that night, but you were banished before we could reconcile. You are still my sister, and that will not change. My heart was still wounded by the death of my brother and your mate. I hope you and I can come to an understanding again and move forward. I do not wish us to be strangers and I doubt you would tolerate enemies.
