19 Activating the plan

"Tomorrow will be your last day seeing him. Please be ready."

Once again the smirk of a devil was shown. Nothing was worse. And it sent severe shivers down my spine.

Tonight was also my last night in the hospital hence why I would return to work in the morning. I need to make sure I can talk to Liu Wei.

With Zhang Yong by my side I turned opposite of him and fell into a deep sleep wondering what was awaiting for me tomorrow.

I woke up and was ready to be discharged from the hospital Zhang Yong wasn't around and I was so relieved I sighed aloud.

The door opened and a friendly looking nurse walked in.

"Hello miss. Your husband has discharged you. He told me to tell you that he has work and he'll pick you up from your work at 4."

I smiled lightly and said with a soft voice "Thank you."

She quietly left and I gathered anything I had left there.

I should have enough time at work to talk to Liu Wei. Let's hope he has a solution.

Once everything was settled I headed out of the office. I wonder how mad Liu Wei is....

Once I arrived at the office it was 8:56. I was running late and today wasn't the day where he needed to be mad about me being late.

It struck 9 and Liu Wei walked in. Perfectly on time as usual.

He walked near me and placed one document on my desk.

His voice was deep as well as laced with anger. When he spoke he said.

"You will not be getting a divorce to me. Under any circumstances. You don't have to be my assistant anymore though. Since you'll be spending the rest of your life with me anyway. So here's that document."

He walked around my desk towards me. From any thing I could remember this is the first time I haven't backed away from him. He came towards me with anger and hate in his eyes. But I wasn't scared.

"It seems you didn't remember anything I said. Sure maybe you don't love me.....but... I love you. And I won't easily let you leave me." In the middle of his sentence he showed hesitance. He was hurt. But he still thought high enough of me to love me?

My eyes started to tear up.

I jumped up and wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him.

"I don't love him. He said he would kill all of you if I didn't go with him and get married. I couldn't do anything at that moment so I did what he said. But I made sure I would have one more day to work with you so you would know. I'm sorry."

By this point I could tell my eyes were puffy and red. But I didn't care, it was best he knew. Right?

He wrapped his arms around my waist and I could feel the aura emanating from him. He was angry really angry but not at me. It felt as if he wanted to protect me I couldn't explain how I felt it.

"Where does he work? What does he do?"

"He's in the underground business. But he holds a company as well. It must be smaller than yours cause he said he wants to take you down."

His voice was gentle when he was talking to me but his anger was obvious. He was ready to kill. Which was unexpectedly sexy.

"Don't worry no one could hurt you. Especially since i'm around."

He pulled away and smiled at me. It's so rare to see him smile, it was beautiful.

He placed a soft peck on my lips. And looked me in the eyes. He truly was beautiful.
