97 Chapter 95: The Cyleen King

Once they reached the light they stepped forward into it and it appeared to be a large throne room that they stood in. They all looked around and saw several cyleen soldiers scattered across the room, and when they looked up they saw a huge cyleen male sitting on the throne, he wore a big crystal crown, he had long silver-green hair, and his greenish-golden eyes looked down at them all menacingly.

They all easily concluded that he was the cyleen king.

"Attack!" The cyleen king shouted and pointed at them

"This is to be expected." Ivery's mountain cutting fan materialized in her right hand

"They'll be no problem." Luther raised his hand, signalling the students behind him to engage in battle

All of them rushed forward and clashed with the cyleen soldiers.

Luther raised both of his hands all ten of the cyleen soldier's bodies started to stretch impossibly, they all screamed in agony as their limbs forcefully expanded. Their blueish skin began ripping apart, exposing what laid underneath..

The people nearby stopped and stared, enemy and even ally looked at the scene in horror.

...

Four cyleen's suddenly ran into the room, three males and one female cyleen dressed almost the same way Ionshi was and had the same characteristics that he did, from their skin to their hair. Ivery concluded they were the other remaining cyleen royal members.

"You dare to attack us humans!" The female cyleen princess angrily yelled

"Eness, kill them." Ivery looked down at Eness

"Yes master." Eness nodded and ran over to the four cyleen's in a flash, she first looked at the cyleen princess

The female cyleen princess was shocked by Eness's speed and got into a defensive stance.

Eness lunged forward and sharpened her silver nails on her right hand. The cyleen princess grabbed Eness's hand before she could attack her.

"Good job.." Eness smiled and sharpened the nails on her left hand, Eness's left hand plunged into her chest, causing the cyleen princess to spit up green blood

"But not good enough.." Eness ripped her hand out and it was covered in the green liquid.

The two prince cyleen's froze with shock as they saw their sister fall on the ground.

Eness took a deep breath and blew out fire from her mouth directly at the princess cyleen's body.

The princess cyleen screamed in pain as her body started burning into ash.

She looked at the cyleen princes and they angrily ran at her with their claws and sharp teeth bared. They were too blinded by rage to put up a good fight anymore...Eness sighed.

Eness jumped up and small dragon wings ripped out of her back. She flew at them with intense speed, and just when she reached them she grabbed both of their faces.

...

She landed back on the floor and held the two decapitated heads of the cyleen princes in her hands.

...

Ivery smiled when she saw Eness easily put down the cyleen royals.

She turned her attention to the angry cyleen king who looked down at the calamity before him, he was boiling with anger as he watched his children be killed. She ran through the cyleen soldiers, heading to the king, and cut down the cyleen's that blocked her way.

She finally reached the king and he looked down at her with extreme displeasure and ferocity.

"Give us your feralic crystal and maybe we'll leave you alive, the mission wasn't for your assassination but if you refuse then I'll have no choice." Ivery looked seriously at him

"Why would I give you disgusting humans my crystal when you've invaded my home, slaughtered my children and soldiers?! I will not go down without a fight!" The king yelled and walked down from his throne, releasing his claws that were covered with a blue aura

"Very well then." Ivery sighed

"Eness!" Ivery shouted out

"Yes master?" Eness flew over to Ivery in a flash

"Go find the crystal." Ivery ordered

"Right away." Eness nodded and flew off

A small cloud of black mist appeared next to Ivery and Luther stepped out of it and stood beside her.

"Did he refuse?" Luther asked

"He did." Ivery nodded

"Shall I?" Ivery asked

"Please do." Luther smiled

The cyleen king charged at Ivery and Luther, with the burning intent to kill them. He wanted to rip them into pieces and burn those pieces into ashes, and then stomp on those very ashes.

Ivery waved her fan and an intense wind cut through the air and cut up everything in its path, including the stairs that let up to the throne and even the room's pillars. The wind hit the king and he stood unphased.

"Haha! Is that all you have?! You, humans, are disappointing!" The king laughed, he underestimated them since they caused so much destruction to his home but he was about to go all out against them...but her measly attack did nothing

"A late reaction?" Luther asked with a smirk

"Looks like it." Ivery nodded

Once the king took another step, it finally set in.

His leg suddenly sliced off and rolled down the ruined stairs. It happened so suddenly, he didn't even feel anything due to the shock..

"What!?" He exclaimed in terror

"Weren't you disappointed with the attack? What's wrong? Aren't you enjoying it now?" Ivery smiled

"I think he's enjoying it now." Luther laughed

"You despicable humans!" He limped toward Ivery, wanting to slice her up immediately

Both of his arms were sliced clean off and fell on the floor.

His other leg followed and before he realized it, his head was rolling down the stairs.

"And he called himself a king?" Luther chuckled

"We won't be encountering many monsters that can do much against us Luther." Ivery told him

"I know that." Luther said

"I sent Eness to get the crystal, all we have to do is wait now." Ivery stretched as she informed him about what she sent Eness to do

"Good." Luther snapped his fingers

All of the remaining cyleen soldiers that were still fighting the students stopped fighting entirely and started screaming in pain when their skin and flesh started rotting to the bone at an alarmingly fast rate. Their bones dropped on the ground.

"Why didn't you just do that from the start?" Ivery asked him with a sigh

"To give them something to do, if not then they would be as good as logs." Luther answered with a shrug

Ivery wasn't surprised by his answer and sat down on the stairs while they waited for Eness. Luther sat down next to Ivery and laid down on her lap.

"Luther." Ivery smiled and looked down at him

"Hm?" He was all ears for whatever she had to say

"Would your father approve it if we stop bringing other students to these missions?" Ivery asked

"What do you mean?" Luther raised an eyebrow

"I'm just more conscious of the fact that they're all liabilities when we go on these missions, we do all of the work, and they either die, stand by and watch or fight with no chance of winning..." Ivery elaborated

"If you didn't kill off the rest of those cyleen's when you did, most of them would've died." Ivery told him as she looked at the exhausted and injured students

"Yes, you're right...they do hold us back." Luther nodded in agreeance

"We'll speak with my father about it when we return with the crystal." Luther told her

"Mhm.." Ivery began twiddling her fingers in his long hair
