Inside the moving carriage.
Graven was still holding Laura in his arms like a baby.
Rebecca began to cry, fat tears rolled down her face.
Graven glanced at his fiancee with a raised brow. "Why are you crying?"
"I'm trying to practice crying in front of my father-in-law so that I can get his sympathy," Rebecca replied and laughed in amusement.
"You're crazy!" Graven said, chuckling.
"That's why you love me!" Rebecca joked and grinned.
"The Black Wings Clan has been hiding a secret territory inside the cave. It's their misfortune to abduct the two of you," Graven said.
"They abduct the wrong women!" Rebecca said smugly.
Graven looked at Laura's face. "When she will regain her consciousness?"
"Anytime... how about now?" Rebecca suggested.
"Later," Graven replied.
"Should I tell your father about the truth that Laura and I were abducted by strangers and brought to the cave?" asked Rebecca. "I can come up with many lies...but I don't think Laura will agree with any of my lies. She had seen everything that happened inside the cave... unless I will erase some portion of her memory," she suggested.
Graven pondered for a moment. "Let me think about that first..." he said.
"Okay, while waiting for your decision, I'll take a short nap," Rebecca said and closed her eyes.
Graven shifted his attention to Laura's face.

Meanwhile, at Nicholas's mansion.
The father and son were both facing back and forth in the veranda wearing a worried expression on their faces.
"I wonder why your brother took so long to send us news?" Nicholas asked his son.
"Maybe he and his men haven't found the women yet," replied Cooper.
"But it's already more than 24 hours! If they still can't find the girls, I'm afraid something bad already happened to the women!" Nicholas insinuated.
"Father calm down, brother will find the girls soon!" he assured him.
"If something bad happened to the women, I don't know how to explain this incident to my friend Simon! He entrusted his precious daughter to us! This incident is killing me!" Nicholas blurted the contents of his bleeding heart. His whole being was filled with apprehension.
Cooper caresses his father's arms gently. "Please, calm down, Father. Please take a seat," he said.
Nicholas released a deep sigh, visibly shaken. He lowered himself on the couch.
Cooper handed his father a glass of water. "Father, please drink the water to calm your nerves," he said.
Nicholas accepted the glass of water and drained the glass. He feels much better after sitting on the chair and drinking a glass of water.
A few minutes later.
One of the servants approached the verandah, grasping a black raven bird in his hand. "Sir, the bird has a message for you!" he said and brought the bird to his employer.
Cooper took the rolled paper attached securely around the bird's foot by a thin rope.
"Read it right away!" Nichola's ordered his son.
Cooper opened the piece of paper and read the message aloud.
'We rescued the girls, both safe and sound, body intact! We will stopover in one of my properties so that they can take a rest and changed their dirty clothes. We will return home as soon as possible! Please stop worrying, Father & brother!' ~ Graven
Nichola's face broke into a bright smile. He made a sign of the cross. "Thank, God!" he said as huge relief washed over him.
"Father, let me bring you to your bedroom upstairs, you need to rest," Cooper said.
"Okay," Nicholas agreed. His body craved a much-needed sleep and rest.
The father and son went inside the house to rest upstairs in their respective bedrooms. They weren't able to close their eyes even for a few minutes, ever since the girls went missing, due to extreme worry and panic.

Graven's carriage stopover in one of his property located in The Grassland Valley. It's a two-story little mansion surrounded by grasslands and wide spaces occupied by wild bushes and several varieties of plants. There is a wooden area located on the north side of the property.
Rebecca exited the carriage followed by Graven - still carrying the unconscious Laura in his arms.
They entered the house and were greeted by the servants.
"Prepare delicious food!" Rebecca ordered.
"Yes, Miss!" answered one of the servants.
Rebecca glanced at Graven. "I'm going to my room to have a long bath," she said and left his side climbing the stairs in big stride.
Graven climbed the stairs as well and brought Laura to the first room near the top of the stairs.
He lowered Laura gently in the bed.
After Rebecca is done with her long bath, he will instruct her to wake up Laura.
He was staring at Laura's sleeping form for a few minutes, now that she's inside his residence safe and sound, he can finally breathe in relief.
A few minutes later, he exited the room, going to his room to rest.
~
Two hours later.
Graven and Rebecca entered the room where Laura was sleeping.
"Wake her up!" he ordered.
"Okay," Rebecca obeyed and went to Laura's side in the bed. She pressed her hands on Laura's head, light emerged from her fingers, blanketing Laura's face for a few minutes.
A few minutes later, Rebecca was finished. She sat on the chair beside the bed.
A moment later, Laura groaned and her eyelids fluttered. The first thing she saw was Rebecca's smiling face, she was already wearing another outfit, and they are inside a room! No longer inside the cave!
Which means! They're already safe! This brings much joy to her heart.
Then her eyes landed on Graven's face. He's here! She sits upright on the bed.
"How are you feeling, sister-in-law?" asked Graven.
Laura looked at him. "I...I'm fine..." she replied.
Then gradually, everything that happened inside the cave came flashing into her mind.
Yes! She remembers it now! When Rebecca whispered to her that she wants to borrow her image to kill the leader, she did not believe it at first. She thought that Rebecca was just hallucinating due to fear and come up with an absurd plan.
But when she regained her consciousness and noticed her appearance, she knew that what Rebecca told her finally come true. But she can't remember how it happened and how she did it?
It dawned on her that Rebecca is not an ordinary human being! She has a superpower capability that is above the mortals! The way her eyes were blazing when she appeared in the chamber holding the bloody severed head of the Lord, she already knew, Rebecca is something else! She's not an ordinary human being!
She edges away from her in fear...
A frown appeared on Rebecca's forehead. "What's wrong, Laura?"
"Y-you're not human!" Laura told her.
Rebecca grinned and scratches her head. "Actually...I'm a...."
"Rebecca, let me explain to Laura. You can leave the room now..." Graven interjected before Rebecca can finish her confession.
Rebecca rose to her feet and left the room.
Graven looked at Laura.
"What kind of being is your fiancee-?" Laura asked, wanting to know the truth.
"She's a demon princess," Graven replied without blinking an eye. "She may be an offspring of a demon and a human woman, but she has a friendly personality, which is rare for someone like her."
Laura digested his revelation slowly. If everything he said is true, Rebecca is a rare kind indeed. She thought demons are ugly looking with horns sticking on their forehead and hurt innocent beings. But Rebecca didn't hurt her!
They were blanketed in silence for a few minutes.
She looked at Graven. Now is the perfect time to ask him if he is Luke or not!
