Aside from being a special existence in this world, one of the reasons why Nath became the second strongest person in the world was because of the Shard of Brilliance!

Rhash became completely honest

When people see someone that is in a better situation than them, they would feel envious

However, when they saw people that are in a worst condition as them, they would feel good and have thoughts like "at least, I'm not in his situation"

It was no different from rejoicing other people's misfortune. Rhash was also like that

He experienced abuse and hardships but it was nothing compared to Reif

Comparing one's self to a person superior to you would make you feel bad. But if you compare yourself to someone that is inferior to you, you would feel good

Rhash has never said it out loud but the him at that time is a shameful part of himself

"I'm sorry Reif, I'm sorry for being happy for your misfortune. That's the reason why even if it will harm me, I want the best for you" Rhash continued before he found himself engulfed in a tight hug

"Big brother, I don't care about that! Feel as much pity as you want from me or be happy for my misfortunes, I don't care! If those things are the things that will have you stay with me then so be it! I just want to be with you forever!" Reif said in a loud voice and it didn't take that long before Rhash felt his shoulder was getting wet

Probably from Reif's tears that he was shedding. This man is still a kid after all. What a cry baby

Rhash never felt this accepted before and his twisted mind was happy to receive such words and reaction

The feeling of Reif completely relying on him was magnificent. Even if it sounds twisted, Reif wanting him to the point that he doesn't care about what Rhash feels is exactly what the latter wants

Affection grew between them. It wasn't just because Rhash use Reif as a coping mechanism anymore

Hence, seeing Reif crying like this also pained Rhash's heart

What a complex person. He likes the reaction he received but he also don't want to see Reif hurting

Rhash feels like there is something wrong with him

"B-bug brother s-stay with me! I-I don't want s-something bad to h-happen to y-you!" Reif said while tears still hasn't stop flowing out from his eyes

Seeing this, Rhash knew that even if he were to beg, Reif might still not leave him here

After all, his life is too important for Reif. This man would rather gain his hatred than for him to die

With a sigh, Rhash can only think of a solution while trying to calm his little gem

"Master, I'm ba—!" Khaknur just arrived but the first thing that appeared in his eyes was his Master Reif crying in his Master Rhash's shoulder

What is happening? Khaknur felt like he barged in a wrong timing

Despite Khaknur's presence, Reif still can't stop himself from crying. Every time that he would see his big brother in danger, his heart would always be hurt

Reif would only feel at ease if he was the one guarding his big brother. Thus, the food hunting fel into the unwilling Khaknur that felt like he did something wrong

"M-master, I-I can come back some other time" the little spider said nervously

"Cut the crap, just come here" Rhash replied impatiently and Khaknur don't have a choice but to approach him

"Where is the lightless cube?" Rhash inquired

Lightless cube is one of the treasures that the three of them gained the past year and Rhash found out a perfect timing to use it
