Lady Melissa quickly sat on one of the empty tables.

'Great, now I have to wait AGAIN. Hopefully, this time it'll be quick, though.'

"ORDER 401! ORDER 401!"

One of the staff shouted.

'Wait, order 401...Is that me? Hold on, let me check my number first.'

'OH SHIT, THAT IS ME.'

Lady Melissa quickly stood up from her table and went to where the staff shouted her order was.

"Hi, I'm order 401."

"Receipt please?"

The employee asked, needing proof that Lady Melissa was order 401, or he wouldn't be able to hand her the desserts and sweets.

"Here you go."

Lady Melissa quickly took the receipt from the pocket of her dress, handing it to the employee.

The employee quickly took it before reading it for a few seconds and deciding that she was order 401.

"Alright, here you go."

The employee handed Lady Melissa a small cute bag filled with all the desserts and sweets she had ordered.

"Oh yeah, the desserts won't melt for 5 hours. There's some magic imbued in it, though if it goes over the 5-hour mark, the dessert will melt, so look out for that."

"Alright, thank you!"

Lady Melissa waved goodbye to the employee before quickly rushing out of La Vien En Rose. Hopefully, she hadn't spent TOO much time in the shop.

Lady Melissa quickly opened the carriage door, throwing the cute little bag she had gotten from La Vien En Rose to the carriage.

"What took you so long, Lady Melissa?"

Sophia questioned. After all, she was kind of starting to get bored of waiting.

"The line was long, VERY long."

Lady Melissa took the empty seat right in front of Sophia before closing the carriage door.

"Go to the Mendora estate!"

Lady Melissa instructed the driver.

"Anyways, what did you buy for Lady Celine?"

"Oh, just a few desserts and sweets, nothing much."

Lady Melissa gave a playful wink to Sophia.

"Oh yeah, Sophia, mind handing me the bag with my sweets in it?"

"Sure."

Sophia took the cute bag that Lady Melissa had previously thrown into the carriage.

"Here you go, Lady Melissa."

Sophia handed over the bag to Lady Melissa.

"Thanks, Sophia."

Lady Melissa quickly took the bag, opening it up a bit and taking the chocolate labelled desserts and sweets out.

"These are for you, Sophia."

"What?"

"Take it; these are for you."

"Why are you giving these to me, Lady Melissa-?"

"Just take it."

"No, I need to know the reason before I can take it."

"If you don't take it, I won't pay you for the month."

"Fine, I'll take it."

Sophia quickly took the desserts and sweets that Lady Melissa had been holding.

"Great."

Lady Melissa gave a smile that ticked Sophia a little bit.

"You wouldn't actually backslide me if I didn't take it, right?"

"Oh, I'm not sure about that."

"We're here, Lady Melissa!"

The driver yelled out to her.

"Thank you for the ride!"

Lady Melissa shouted.

Sophia quickly went down the carriage, dropping the sweets and desserts she originally had in her hand, leaving them behind in the carriage.

Sophia quickly opened the carriage door for Lady Melissa.

Lady Melissa and Sophia were greeted by the dozens of maids and servants who bowed down to them.

"Good afternoon Lady Melissa. The tea party is right this way."

One of the maids that had previously bowed down to her said.

"Good afternoon."

Lady Melissa replied, not wanting to be seen as rude.

The maid leaded Lady Melissa and Sophia to where the tea party was held at.

Just then, in the corner of her eye, Lady Melissa saw a clock hanging.

She could see a little bit of it. Though it was little, it was just enough for her to tell the current time right now.

'Oh SHIT, I'M LATE BY TEN MINUTES-'

'I should've bought gifts and everything in advance next time….'

'Hopefully, I don't get made fun of or anything. I don't have enough social energy to want to interact with others a lot.'

"We have arrived at the tea party venue Lady Melissa, just walk in a straight line for a little bit more, and you'll find Lady Celine and the others. Unfortunately, I must get going now to greet the other guests. Goodbye, Lady Melissa. I hope you enjoy the tea party."

The maid quickly bowed before leaving Lady Melissa and Sophia.

"Let's head to the tea party now, okay, Lady Melissa?"

Lady Melissa nodded her head in agreement.

After about 20 minutes of walking, Lady Melissa's feet had started to get tired.

"Just walk a little more, and you'll see the tea party. The maid was fucking lying."

Lady Melissa said, now tired of the walking.

Though usually, she was physically fit, she wasn't ALWAYS physically fit, some days, she was just a couch potato, and this was one of those days.

"Shhh, don't use such vulgar language here, Lady Melissa! What if someone heard you? Your reputation would go downhill real quick."

Sophia whisper-shouted, anxious that someone might've heard Lady Melissa just now.

"Oh crap, yeah, your right Sophia, thanks for reminding me."

Sophia gave a smile to Lady Melissa, encouraging her not to curse or use any sort of vulgar words.

"AGHHH, HOW MUCH LONGER TILL WE GET THERE, PLEASE."

Lady Melissa yelled in desperation.

"Oh, look there, Lady Melissa! I think that's the tea party!"

Sophia cheerfully said, which for some reason soured Lady Melissa's mood, seeing Sophia not as tired as herself.

"If your lying, I'm not gonna pay you for the next three months."

Lady Melissa threatened Sophia.

Lady Melissa lifted her head from the ground, looking in front of her, and it turned out Sophia wasn't lying.

Lady Melissa could hear the voices of women chattering and laughing, and it sounded as if they were having fun.

Though Lady Melissa wasn't one hundred percent sure that it was the tea party, but it seemed like it, she couldn't see clearly because the venue was still pretty far, but their chattering was so loud she could hear it.
