Lady Melissa finished her steak after around 25-30 minutes, quickly excusing herself from her parents, retreating to her bedroom to sleep.
Lady Melissa awoke the next day, not having a dream this time, stretching her hands and back, yawning a bit.
'Oh SHIT I have to meet Kev today, I should probably arrive at his estate hours before the reinforcements come to back us up in the whitechapel.'
Lady Melissa thought, quickly waking herself up from her sleepy self and talking to Victoria.
"Victoria, good morning, and uh by any chance do you perhaps mind if you take my place for the whole day today?"
Lady Melissa politely asked, desperately hoping that Victoria was awake and that she wouldn't mind taking Melissa's place for the day.
"Huh? Did you say something Lady Melissa?"
Victoria asked, her voice sounding sleepy as she was just awoken due to Lady Melissa's voice.
"Good morning Victoria, I previously stated whether you would mind taking my place for today?"
Lady Melissa eagerly asked, impatiently waiting for Victoria to give her answer.
"Sure Lady Melissa!"
Victoria excitedly said, wanting to interact with people.
"Okay good, you'll be taking my place for an hour or so till the rest of the day."
Lady Melissa said, knowing she had to spend hours preparing for Whitechapel, and hopefully Baron Kevin had some special help for Lady Melissa.
"Huh-? That sudden? I mean I don't mind Lady Melissa."
Victoria said, confused why she was going to be replacing Lady Melissa so early in the morning, but brushed it off.
"That's great, now I'll wake you in an hour or so, so if you would still like to sleep, go ahead."
Lady Melissa said, not hearing Victoria reply anything, thinking that Victoria had probably fallen asleep.
Though Lady Melissa couldn't blame her, it was 6 AM in the morning.
Lady Melissa quickly went to the shower, going for a cold shower this time, unlike usual as she needed that extra burst of productivity to get through the rest of today.
'I hope the plan works, or else I'm screwed.'
Lady Melissa thought to herself, laughing at the outcome of the incident if she had failed.
If Lady Melissa had failed, the outcome of the incident wouldn't be great; no instead it would be the absolute opposite.
Lady Melissa was using sarcasm, it was one of her many coping mechanisms, laugh at how pathetic everything would be if you fuck something up.
Lady Melissa's mind had suddenly wandered to the Crown Prince.
She couldn't fuck this plan up, no matter what, she absolutely couldn't, after all she had to stay alive to take revenge on the Crown Prince.
Lady Melissa was going to be arriving HOURS at Baron Kevin's estate before they would go to whitechapel, where it would finally happen.
She needed to look the part, and she wanted to discuss with Baron Kevin the plan once more, and also talk about what to do if anything went wrong.
Lady Melissa didn't want to come in half-naked into the whole situation (or half-cocked for that matter, inspired by the TV show Lucifer hehe. I couldn't help myself).
Lady Melissa quickly finished her cold shower, accidentally hitting her head in her bathroom sink somehow, which for the record was much, much shorter than Lady Melissa.
Her legs had suddenly decided to give up on her, fall asleep and Lady Melissa accidentally hit her head in the bathroom sink, letting out a loud yelp.
"FUCK!"
Lady Melissa accidentally shouted, her head throbbing a little at the spot where it had hit the bathroom sink.
After a few more seconds of some constant cursing from Lady Melissa, she had calmed down and her head wasn't throbbing that much anymore.
Lady Melissa quickly recovered from that little mishap of hers and went outside of her bathroom, already feeling the extra burst of productivity.
She was more alert and attentive than usual, due to her cold shower. It was a wonder how a simple cold shower could make you more productive.
Lady Melissa quickly went into her dressing room and changed into some of her clothes, before going down to eat her breakfast as she didn't want to be starving for the whole day.
For some strange reason, her parents didn't happen to be at the dining table.
'Weird'
Lady Melissa thought before brushing it off.
'They probably had an urgent business meeting or something to get to, and just forgot to tell me.'
Lady Melissa thought, after all, it wasn't the first time they had done something like this to her, nor would it ever be the last.
She suddenly remembered when she was younger and her parents wouldn't even tell her if they were going out for a business trip or not, and she was scared and afraid of what happened to them each time they disappeared for days, and sometimes even weeks.
She was too shy to ask any of the employees, thinking that they probably didn't know where her parents went as well.
Lady Melissa quickly bruhsed it off, she didn't have the time to think about this!
She had an hour, and only an hour to prepare herself and get ready, so she best made use of it.
"Good Morning Lady Melissa, what would you like to have for today?"
The servant said, spotting Lady Melissa and greeting her, also bowing his head down while at it.
"I'd like to have some bacon and two omlettes."
Lady Melissa quickly replied, eager to taste them out and enjoy them for today.
"Tell the chef to make the food quickly."
Lady Melissa said, shouting to the servant as he was already on the way to the kitchen, hoping that the servant had heard what Lady Melissa had shouted to him.
"Okay Lady Melissa!"
Suprisingly, the servant heard Lady Melissa's order, quickly replying back to her to let her know that he had heard her order.
'Okay, so...Baron Kevin's estate, I'm going to get there by teleporting myself, and since my level isn't high enough to do it, I guess I'll just have to use some of my blood to make up for it.'
Lady Mellissa thought to herself, since she wasn't at the sufficient level needed for the spell, her body would experience some major drawbacks such as fainting.
