Lady Melissa knew that Baron Kevin wouldn't want her to cry over him, not like this at least.

So, Lady Melissa tried her best not to think of him.

Lady Melissa loved Baron Kevin, maybe it was because he was her childhood friend, or maybe it was because there was something more.

He was the first friend who had stood up for her and tried to knock some sense into her about the Crown Prince, and she just couldn't believe that he was dead.

Sometimes, Lady Melissa forgot that Baron Kevin was even dead.

Although Baron Kevin's death had processed into Lady Melissa's head, it hadn't completely processed yet.

Lady Melissa still hadn't moved on from his death, and it could take days, or weeks, months, or even years for her to completely move on from his death.

She had to remind herself that moving on took time, Rome wasn't built in a day after all.

So neither would she be able to move on from the incident in a day, she had to process Baron Kevin's death, and regret upon her actions (which she had been doing ever since Lady Melissa murdered Jack The Ripper), and she had to come to terms with what she had done.

And that Baron Kevin was dead.

Lady Melissa was about to take the carriage when suddenly she felt dizzy.

It felt as if there was a migraine, which there probably was because of the potion Lady Melissa had drunk earlier.

Lady Melissa's appearance and tone had changed a couple of hours before this, and she hadn't suffered any side effects from it.

Hence, she had temporarily forgotten that she would be experiencing any side effects at all.

Justin quickly noticed Lady Melissa was hurt, he just didn't know why, as Lady Melissa was touching her head, as if she was in pain.

"Are you alright Lady Melissa? Do you need me to bring you the carriage?"

Justin asked Lady Melissa, concerned about her well-being and her mental and physical health.

He could see that she was in a great deal of pain, both mentally and physically.

It was something that he had found out about Lady Melissa with the amount of time he had spent with her.

Lady Melissa liked to hide her emotions and pretend everything was alright, be it because she didn't want to worry someone or because she was unconsciously doing it.

Justin would notice her little acts and her little actions, and by analyzing each of those little acts he found out how she felt.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me."

Lady Melissa said, while her facial expressions said the opposite, she looked like she was currently in a great deal of pain, which she was.

Maybe Lady Melissa had been hiding her feelings because she felt like a burden to others if she did so, and maybe that was the reason why she was hiding her pain from Justin.

Showing pain or expressing one's emotions was never something to be ashamed or embarrassed over though, as it was human nature.

We show how we feel, and it's simply human nature, there was no use in hiding it.

Justin wanted to argue against Lady Melissa, knowing that she wasn't alright, with how much pain she was in.

Lady Melissa had memorized the name of the graveyard where Baron Kevin's grave was located.

"Order a carriage for the both of us, and tell the driver to head to Oak Cemetery."

Lady Melissa said, as she soon ran out of breath, feeling as if her body was giving up on her.

"Alright, is it okay if I leave you for a few seconds? So I can order the carriage for us."

Justin said, asking Lady Melissa whether he could leave her for a few seconds since he needed to order the carriage for the both of them or else they wouldn't be able to head to Oak Cemetery.

Lady Melissa nodded her head before mumbling something to Justin.

"Hurry up please."

Lady Melissa said, as her face that Justin could see as he was standing really close in front of her, showed that she was in a lot of pain.

Justin nodded his head as he bolted to order a carriage for the two of them, not being able to see his master in such pain.

Justin felt guilty whenever his master (previous masters and current one included) would go into pain, be it from the simplest things like a papercut, to things that even he couldn't prevent like the flu.

Justin was hired to protect his masters from danger unless that danger was them themselves of course.

Hence why Justin felt guilty, since he was hired to do that job he couldn't even stick to it.

"Carriage for two please."

Justin politely said to the driver as the driver nodded his head, and Justin told the driver to bring the carriage to where Lady Melissa was, as he hoped she wasn't in too much pain right now.

Whilst the driver was bringing the carriage to Lady Melissa's location, Justin bolted back to where Lady Melissa was, as luckily she didn't look like she was in more pain than she had previously been in.

Lady Melissa let out a smile, indicating that she was alright and that she was grateful that Justin had come back so quickly.

Lady Melissa had never known the side effects of the potion would be this bad, she knew her body was weak compared to how it was in the last few weeks of her past life, but she didn't know it was this weak.

Lady Melissa thought that she had been doing okay physically, after all, she rarely ran out of breath anymore when doing her swordsmanship lessons, and she had gotten better at taking hits and dodging.

Yet, for some reason, Lady Melissa still wasn't physically strong.

Lady Melissa made a mental note to herself that she would train her body more when she reached home.
