Chapter 33：The Secret Passage

"Oh my God! Thank you, Thank you Wuji." I said happily as I wait for Jandi to go get water from the bath pool in a bowel ..which she did. I urge her to be fast when she started wiping  my face dry with a towel but it seem like Jandi don't want me to leave my room as she started applying face cream on my face lazily which is so not necessary at this moment.

"Jandi." I called and I know she gets the reason for me calling her ..I want her to stop and step away from my way.

"How so? I asked but I really don't want to hear her reasons, I just wish for her to move out of my way because there's no way in hell that I won't go in to see my brother on the day he's going to be set free ..free as a bird. God! It's been eleven years since I last saw my brother ..who know how he now looks like. Anyways, I know I will still recognize him.

"You didn't go when they first asked you to but now that they all know your brother is not going to die ..you're going in. I know you don't care what they think but don't make them think that the reason why the Emperor is setting your brother free is because of you." Jandi said bringing me out of my imagination.

"But the reason why the Emperor is setting my brother free is not because of me, he even told me himself that he won't do it because of me."

"Well, that's what he told you Lady Nana but we all know he did it because of you."

"I don't know Jandi but.. All I want right now is to be in there, I want to hear what they're discussing. I want to see my brother". I told Jandi and after a while as if an idea just popped into her mind, she started leading me toward a direction that I'm not familiar with.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked her confused but she didn't answer me, she just kept on leading me to the unfamiliar place which is quite unknown to someone who thought she knows everywhere in the palace.

Jandi suddenly stopped walking in front of a door which is surrounded by a lot of guards that I haven't seen before ..I watch Jandi as she say something to a guard which I guess is the senior in ranking then point a finger towards me and immediately the guards all sew me ..they bow in greetings. After a while the yeonjangja open the door for me and tell me to enter but not to let the Emperor know that I'm there.

Immediately I turn my head to inspect my surroundings, my eyes almost didn't believe what's it seeing ..I turn my head towards the entrance to call for Jandi but the door is closed ..I guess she can't come in with me as this is where only the Emperor himself stays when ever he doesn't want to be disturbed. I sign in dissatisfaction because I actually want my friend here with me but I guess It going to be only me which is still ok as I get to see my brother ..even though he's kneeling down like a criminal ready for his execution.
