Chapter 36:[3] Sentencing Him

"Who is this vigilante that brought Kim Min-jun into Mandir and where is he? The Emperor asked.

After a while the two guards come back with a shabby man who seems to be in his late forties. Immediately they drag him up front, the Emperor tell Baek Sunghyun to say out Cha Seung-won offences to him and to others in the hall _which Baek Sunghyun did.

"Cha Seung-won ..what Baek Sunghyun just read out that you did, are they true? the Emperor ask Cha Seung-won and Cha Seung-won said yes ..that they're all true, that he even know Min-jun wasn't breaking the law when he brought him from Millin to Mandir _that he did it because he never liked my brother because when he was the Prince of Shilli he never acknowledge him whenever he and his troop do something that requires a  higher ranking, celebration or reward so ever since, he has been planning on how to kill him or get him killed.

I can't believe someone can turn so evil for such a petty reason and I'm actually happy when the Emperor had Baek Sunghyun read out the law about the consequence of someone who forcefully bring back a banished person back to the kingdom that banished him and after Baek Sunghyun set the book down, the two previous guard who came earlier to execute Sangyuh grab Cha Seung-won and lead him out by his shoulder for his execution but what had me worried is the eye contact that Kyung-sook made with Cha Seung-won when he entered and now as he's being taken out for his execution. The evil, lost, deadly smirk Cha Seung-won had on all those while also has me confused ..for a man who already knows his fate, he sure look contented.
