Chapter 58 - Alphie's Amazing Spell! (1)

"What if I am a fox spirit who happens to be a holy mage as well? Will you be scared of me?"

"Un… I… I don't mind if I fall into the abyss of desire for you, Sir."

Cha Junshik was pleasantly surprised by Alpheus' answer. It was within his range of expectation, but he knew well that wasn't love.

Alpheus just admired him, or in some instances, because they spent days together, Alpheus started developing this dependent feeling with Cha Junshik.

That was why Junshik wasn't that surprised by that answer, nor he was that surprised when Alpheus said that Junshik and they were SUPER MEGA BEST FRIENDS. 

Because at some point, Alpheus would realize that love wasn't something that should be manipulatively created because of dependency, that wasn't love. 

'Now it reminds me of my past relationship, the only relationship I had that lasted for 3 years until that day….' Cha Junshik sighed as he shook his head lightly, trying to forget the bittersweet feeling in his heart.

"Sir, what are you thinking about?" Alpheus asked as he sensed that Sir Junshik Hyung's body stiffened instantly when he was lost in his thought. 

"Ah, I was just remembering about something sweet in the past," Junshik said. "Now, now, get off me. Finish your food and take a bath now. I feel like you have some cat stank in you. Are you sure that you don't meet with any cats today?"

Alpheus held his breath instantly. He didn't want Sir Junshik Hyung to know that he had actually conquered the other side of the daycare in the name of his new sovereign Kingdom, Kingdom of Super Awesome Prince Alphie.

Because he heard that Grand Overseer Eunjung Noona was crying while fixing all the mess that the war had created in the cat daycare kingdom. 

Since he knew he would be in a big problem if Sir Junshik Hyung knew what he had caused, he denied it instantly, "U—Um, no, Sir! Alphie is just playing with the other dogs! We ran around in the playground!"

"Hmm, I see…." Cha Junshik felt something was off. Because the smell of cats was very strong when they were this close. But since Alpheus had no way to go to the other side, especially under Eunjung's watch, he just dispelled the thought. 

'Maybe it's just because I'm helping Eunjung to fix everything savable in the cat daycare,' Junshik thought. He actually spent almost an hour helping Eunjung while she was crying. It was unfortunate since Eunjung worked really hard and studied for her university enrollment exam. 

Cha Junshik slapped Alphie's butt cheeks again and said, "Now, get off me and finish your food."

Alpheus' cheeks reddened again when Sir Junshik Hyung slapped his butt. It was truly a wonderful feeling that was hard to describe. 

He got up from Sir Junshik Hyung's lap and then finished his dinner. He then obediently went to the bathroom and showered by himself since Sir Junshik Hyung had already taught him how to use the bathroom in this world.

Though he wouldn't lie, he missed the river and lake in elude forest the most. Especially when he dragged a big tiger for dinner and threw the carcass to the river, he would bathe and drink with the blood of the tiger that night, truly the best feeling ever. 

Cha Junshik took a bath after Alphie, and he wore his sweatpants and white tee before sitting in the living room and opening his laptop. He planned to check on the assignment submission from another batch of classes he attended about five days ago.

"Professor Kim should've paid me double the amount of monthly salary for all the hard work that I have to do daily, sigh…." 

He didn't intend to do stream for three days, at least, because he was busy, and he had earned 4x the regular amount yesterday. 

He checked the comment previously, and they were eager and impatient, but Cha Junshik decided to use the bait tactic, so they would ask for more and, hopefully, be very excited when he started a stream again. 

"Sir, what are you doing now?" Alpheus walked in and sat beside Sir Junshik Hyung. He peeked at the laptop and saw that Sir Junshik Hyung was reading whatever magic incantation in the screen again. 

Of course, he understood nothing, which got him curious.

"Sir, can you teach me a spell?" 

"Huh? A spell?"

"Yes! A magic spell! I have always wanted to use magic, but I was born without magic affinity. My parents always told me that I'm just a dangerous beast, which makes me sad, wu…." Alpheus pouted pitifully. 

Cha Junshik frowned when Alpheus said he was just a dangerous beast to his parents. 

"You're pretty strong, right?"

"Arf! I mean, yes, Sir! I am the first person from the Eclipse Kingdom to be able to slay Madam Valentine!"

"Who's miss valentine? Is that some kind of vampire?"

"Ah, no, Madam Valentine is a 10-headed dragon from the south! She is a giant and has amazing stories of burning cities and villages to the ground! Alphie beats her during her mating season for extra exercise! Because Alphie has to be kept in shape even though at that time, my power has been sealed for at least 50%, Sir!"

"Sealed? Why would they seal your power? You're a Crown Prince!"

"Um… because they said that I'm too dangerous for people. That I should live in the forest so I won't harm anyone. That's why I live in the forest with my hermit Uncle, and 80% of my power has been sealed, Sir!"

"And you still able to be the king of the beast?"

"Yes! Alphie is the king of the beast in Elune forest! Alphie is still very strong, even at 20%! Alphie can protect Sir Junshik Hyung!" Alpheus said proudly. He really liked to be boasting about his achievement to Sir Junshik Hyung for unknown reasons. This was the first time he boasted about his strength to the other. He hid it outside of the forest most of the time because he was worried that everyone would be scared of him. 

Cha Junshik saw how oblivious Alpheus was. Obviously, he was thrown into the forest because his parents feared the power that Alphie held. At 50% power, he could slay a 10-headed dragon, and at 20%, he could still be the king of the beast in a magical forest. 

'I wonder how strong Alphie is when he is at his 100% full power, and can he get even stronger than that?' Junshik theorized. 'Usually, a legendary beast like Alphie has superpower form, or like… ultra instinct mode.'

Cha Junshik imagined such a powerful beast was jiggling his butt and moaning as he spanked his butt cheeks. It turned him again. 

He folded his legs to cover his erection and asked, "Since at what age did you live in the Elune forest?"

"Um, since I was 3 years old! My Uncle told me that I accidentally killed a guard when playing around the castle. That's why they outcasted me to live in the Elune forest. My Uncle always told me to be strong because I would be the protector and conqueror! That's why I've been living alone in the forest and only came to my kingdom once per six months!" 

"Ah, I felt really sad at first, but my mom said that they did it because they love me. That's why they have to put me away from everyone!"

'That's manipulative as heck, and pretty much another tale of Elsa from Frozen.'

Cha Junshik might be a cold man that rarely sympathized with anyone in his life. But he felt genuinely sad for Alpheus, even though the wolf prince didn't seem to care much about him getting kicked out and living in the forest alone like an abandoned wild beast.

Alpheus stared at Sir Junshik Hyung's eyes and felt an unknown emotion swirling inside his heart.

"Um, Sir, why are you looking at me like that?" Alpheus asked. He felt nervous when Sir Junshik Hyung kept on staring at him for a while, and his cheeks started reddening again. 

"Come here," Cha Junshik said as he opened his arm. "Rest your head on my chest."

"Wha—" Alpheus saw that Sir Junshik Hyung had already opened his arm, so he quietly rested his head on Sir Junshik Hyung's chest, and his superb hearing could feel the heartbeat of Sir Junshik Hyung.

It was… extremely comforting. 

Cha Junshik caressed Alpheus' hair and furry ears, "Alphie, you asked me to teach out a holy spell, right?"

"Um… any spell would do, Sir. I heard from my Uncle that I won't be able to use magic in my life. Holy magic is the highest form of magic in my world, so I don't think I can learn it…."

"Well, whether you can learn holy magic—or any kind of magic, that depends on me, the high-ranked holy mage in this domain. So all you need to do is to follow my instruction, okay?"

"Sir, Yes Sir!"
