Chapter 115 - Being selfish

After it was all  cleared, she looked at him and planted a kiss on his lips as thanks. She shyly went inside the bathroom to take a bath. She was about to close the door and Michael held the door and opened it. 

His eyes were full of l.u.s.t, Sara already had a hint of what he was going to say next. And as she thought, he just asked about taking a bath together. She laughed and pushed him away lightly. But he stuck to his words and went inside the bathroom and closed the door. He pulled her close to him by her waist. He started kissing her passionately, she was not at all surprised by this. She kissed him back passionately. It turned out something else from bathing together. 

After the bath they both went out of the house together. 

She looked at the car in front of the door. It was different from yesterday and Michael always drives the same car. She looked towards Michael with a questioning look. Michael sighed. He just forgot that she doesn't remember anything from last night what she did to his car. 

He just let her sit before she asks any questions. She sat down but she wanted to ask questions about it but Michael didn't give him the chance to talk. He just started talking about weather and all. She didn't say anything. She just ignored it thinking that he was just using the new car because he was in the mood to drive that.

On reaching her, the first thing she noticed was that Quin was not in the office.  Even though she is her enemy, she is good at her work. She will not take a leave without any reason. She was serious about her work no matter how hard she had to work. 

Sara asked about the staff but no one knew about her. Even her phone was switched off. 

She worried about her but soon she got so busy that she didn't even have time to breathe. 

It was already dark when she was free from her work. She was tired from working all day but she didn't forget about Quin. After finishing her work, she directly went to Quin's house but it was locked. It had no choice but to come back home. On her way home, her mother called her. She picked up the phone not knowing what she did yesterday. On picking up her mother spoke calmly. But when her mother came to know that she didn't remember anything she burst out in anger. She started scolding her as if she was a five year kid. She even told her everything that happened last night. What did she do after drinking? She even told her about coming home after completing her work with Michael to meet her family. After saying that she cut the phone, just like yesterday she didn't even let her speak a word. 

Sara listened to her mother and remembered everything about last night. She remembered why Michael was using another car  and why he didn't say anything. He was so good that he didn't say anything to hear thinking that she will feel guilty after knowing it. She starts regretting that she didn't trust him. How can she deserve someone like him? At first when she fell for him she didn't think she would fall for him so deeply that she could never let him go. She knows she is becoming selfish but she doesn't hate it. Since now she knows about her feelings clearly she is not at all afraid of accepting him in front of others. She wants to tell the whole world that the person she loves and her hubby is him no one except him. Now even if he wants to leave her she will not let him go. He is forever hers from now on and she is forever him from now on. 

She drives home faster and reaches home before him. The house was almost empty, there were mostly maids not any males except the old butler. 

Seeing her coming the old butler apologized for not leaving the place before her arrival. They were just leaving when she stopped them and told them they can leave there and she has no problem with it. The butler smiled hearing that and told the others to go back to work. He also left the place.

Sara went to her room and freshened up. She thought about  giving him a surprise, but the problem was that she didn't know what he liked. He knows everything about her but she knows nothing about him. 

She went downstairs to know about him from the maid. She went to the kitchen and saw some maids cooking dinner. She went close to them seeing her, all of them bowed to her. She went close and asked them about Michael's favorite food. Hearing her questions they were a bit surprised. If she is their master's wife how can she not know about what her husband likes? But they didn't want to get into trouble by saying that was going on in their minds, they just replied politely back what they were asked. They told her that their master likes anything that is home-cooked. He really loves home-cooked food mostly if it is cooked in the traditional way and if it has vegetables he will finish it within a second and if they say about dessert the most like is grass jelly and red bean buns.

After listening to them, Sara thought for sometime she asked everyone to go out of the kitchen and told them that she was going to cook. At first they were worried she may not cook as she is a rich heiress who had lived all her life in pamper. How can she even cook when she had hundreds of people to work for her. But when they saw the dishes they were all surprised. It didn't take much time before she completed all the dishes. Smell from the delighted everyone, they started to drool on them but they tried to control it. 

Seeing them resisting it, Sara chuckled a bit and gave them some food too. At first they denied it but when she said that she cooked enough for everyone they didn't hesitate to try. After taking their first bite they feel like they are in heaven. Everything was in the correct proportions even the Michigan star chef can't cook like her. They were awed by her cooking skills.
