Chapter 135 - Gold mine

Michael got out and received his phone call, it was from his mother. He didn't want to pick up her phone, but still picked up. 

"Where are you? Why are you not replying to my phone calls and messages? Anyway, come home tonight for the party." Saying her words, she cut the phone, she didn't ask whether he was okay. She just informed him what she wanted to and cut the phone. 

Can't she even ask her whether he was okay? Did he have food? Or that she was worried about him? He felt a sudden pain hitting his c.h.e.s.t, he wanted his mother's care and affection but she never cared about him. 

He didn't wanted to go to that party but if he don't the matter get worsen and knowing how his mother is, he was sure that she will investigate about him and if she finds that Sara was his wife, she may even try to kill her and didn't want to take risk of hurting their baby and her. 

"What are you doing outside?" Sara asked seeing that he was still outside. 

"Nothing, where are you going?" Michael scanned her and saw she was wearing casual clothes with make-up. She must go out or else why would she wear makeup and dress up like that at home.

"Eh? Something important came up. I have to go." Sara said to him. 

After Michael went out to receive that call, Sara also got a call from the hotel staff. She took the call and they told her everything that happened. They even caught the waiter that served wine to Quinn. He didn't accept who told them to do it, he kept on saying that someone wanted to propose to her and asked him to give her that, and she will know it. 

Sara touched the corner of her lips with her tongue, knowing who it was that. She asked Anna to take care of the hotel, since she was a martial arts expert trained by her and only she was there. Sara thought it was the best time to let Anna. 

After cutting the phone, she smudged," Looks like it's time to meet you again." Sara said.

She didn't want to make Michael worry but Michael was already worried from the phone call from his mother. He only thinks of his mother calling her to meet, what if she gets hurt. Michael was already worried

did she might get hurt and she didn't even leave any chance to make him worried. 

Michael went towards her and hugged her tightly,"don't go." He said in a worried tone. He didn't want to lose her, she was more important than anything to him. 

Sara was surprised hearing him, he was so worried about her suddenly. Sara can't think of anything that would make him worried. 

"Did something happen," Sara asked, trying to comfort him. 

Michael didn't say anything he just hugged tightly. He just wants her to be safe, he will take care of everything, even the thing with his mother. But if his mother hurts her before he could even protect her. 

"Michael, tell me. What happened?" Sara asked him. She was becoming more and more worried about him. 

He didn't want to see her being consistent, he sighed and told her everything his mother said and he was worried about her being hurt.

Sara can't stop laughing hearing him, his mother was going to hurt her for Lina, so she doesn't come between this marriage. 

She placed a kiss on his cheeks, he was worried about her for that thing. He was so cute, Sara thought of him. 

"Don't worry nothing will happen to me, but something is sure going to happen to your fiance." Sara reassured him with a smile. 

Michael was relieved but still he can't let his guard off, he still had the feeling that something may happen to Sara. 

"Still stay in house and I will take care of it if it's that important." Michael said, taking her inside. 

"What?" She tried to argue but Michael glared at her, so she didn't say anymore but she had to look for Quin and maybe Michael can help her with this.

Sara can never find out about Quin with her resources but Michael can. She looked towards Michael and told him why he was going out. 

"Can you please help me? I promise I will stay at home." Sara said to him with puppy eyes. 

Michael can never say no to her request and since she promised she will stay at home, he was not much worried about her. 

"Fine I will help you with that but we are going to stay at home but this one." Michael said, taking her to the car and making her sit. Her house was not that safe to let her be alone there, what if she hurt herself and there was also no maid to take care of her. 

He drove towards the other side of the city, which was covered by mountains and a river. That whole property was bought by Michael, when Sara left him. She told her once that she wanted a place where there was no hustle and bustle of the city, only the nature's sound and two of them. 

He brought that place because of her, hoping that one day she will come back to him and they will stay in that place. He had designed the place as Sara wanted. 

Sara awed on seeing the scenery as they went towards the place. The mountains were covered with forest and going up there was a palace, with gardens on either side.
