Chapter 143 - Brother-in-law

"Mom" Anna felt more courage building up when she heard her mother. She was an inspiration, she immediately rubbed her tears and hugged her mom. 

"Thank you, mom. For always being on my side." Anna said running out of the house to her car and drove off. 

Anna was a hacker herself, and knew that there will be cctvs footage from the club and if she knows who that person was she can take her revenge, or can confront him. 

She went to the base and asked one of the other hackers to help look around the image. And after what she saw she was stunned and heartbroken at the same time. 

When she was about to enter her car, a pervert came from behind and tried to take advantage of her and because she was drunk she couldn't do anything. She was trying to fight back but she can't.

Suddenly a man came and pushed the man back, Anna didn't see his face as it was dark and footage was not clear but from the appearance he looked the same as Michael, her brother in law. She didn't want to believe that it was him but she can't mistake someone who is similar to her brother in law. 

After pushing the man away, he looked at her. But she didn't remember anything about how he looked or was he seriously her brother in law was it somebody else. She tried to look at his face, but it was correct that he looked like her brother in law. 

She felt devastated, after seeing what happened next. That pervert who was trying to take advantage of her got angry and hit him with a beer bottle in his head. Blood started to come out from his head but still maintained his composure and gave him a cold glare passing a chill down his spine. He was scary. 

The pervert was about to run away, but he strangled the pervert man hard. The man tried to get out of his hands, he was wriggling hard to escape, but he was only left when he became pale and was about to die. 

Finally the guy let that man go, he coughed hard after he was released and ran away immediately. Anna was already drunk so she felt dizzy and became unconscious, if he was not there to hold her she would fall for sure. 

He smiled seeing her sleeping, and carried her in his arms. She was not sure what to say, she was not even sure if he was really her brother in law or someone that looked alike him. But if it was her brother in law then what happened after that; why was she n.a.k.e.d on the bed; what happened between them; or was someone else. 

Many questions started to pop in her head. She was not sure what were the answers for them, but she was sure only that person who looks like her brother in law or was her brother in law can answer all her questions. 

She reached out for her phone and looked at the time, it was still early for Sara, she must be asleep but her sister nevers sleep so it was fine if she called her. 

Sara was sleeping soundly when she got the phone call from Anna. She picked without looking at the caller ID and answered it in a hoarse voice. 

"Hello" Sara answered while she was still half asleep. Thinking Michael may get disturb, who was still sleeping soundly beside her, she removed his hand and went out of their room. 

"Sis, can I ask you something about brother in law?" Anna was asked impatiently. 

Sara was bit off guard by her sudden question," Yeah, sure. What is it?" She asked her about it. 

"Is brother in law with you these days?" Anna questioned her knowing this was the chance for her to know. 

"Yeah, why?" Sara answered honestly but she was still confused why Anna asked her that. 

"Nothing, I thought I saw brother -in -law here. Maybe I was mistaken." Anna lied to her and cut the phone. 

"Wait.." Sara wanted to ask more but she already cut the phone. She just ignored and went back to her bed to sleep. 

Anna was more sure that it was someone else, one part of her relieved hearing that it was not her brother in law but the other part of her was more worried now, if it was not her brother in law than who was it that looked so similar to him and helped her with the pervert. 

Should she be happy that she was saved or be sad that he has pics of her? He didn't know about it. She just wanted to meet him once again, so she can know what he was up to. 

Anna closed her eyes and wanted to relax a bit, before trying to find the guy.

Sara slept till late. It was past nine in the morning when she woke up from her slumber. She was sleeping too much after her pregnancy. She hated being lazy but somewhere she loved taking rest it was relaxing. For years she has not slept like that, and after so many years she was finally able to sleep like a normal person. 

She yawned and stretched her arms before looking around. Michael was not in bed and she is used to waking up later than him. She knows he must be in the kitchen cooking breakfast for both of them and she was already hungry and wanted food. She got up from her bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. Since it was just two of them during the morning, she just left the room in her nightwear. 

She tried to calm herself down and treated his mother, her mother was already pissed seeing her there but more seeing her in her nightwear. Lina on the other hand was more jealous of her. Lina wanted to strangle her to death, but she stayed calm to save her face in front of Michael.
