Chapter 153 - Perfect enough to dance with me

Mike smirked and followed her to the venue. Anna saw him following him but she smirked only, taking a glass of champagne from the waiter and went to deck. 

Everyone was having fun with their partners, filled with delicacies from all over the world, which were made by top Michelin star chefs. 

Soothing and peaceful music was playing in the background which was soothing to the ear. 

Anna leaned over the railings and looked at the water, lights from the cruise reflecting on the surface of the water. Anna sipped some champagne from her glass.

"Looks like you don't like to dance." Mike interrupted her, he stood beside her. 

Anna smiled and took a sip,"Why do you think that?" She asked, raising a brow.

Mike laughed a bit hearing her question, then he went close to her little bit,"Because you are standing here alone." He whispered in her ears.

Anna's heart skipped a beat seeing him getting close to her, she stammered and wanted to back out but her legs stood frozen to the ground. Her lips stretched into thin lines, subconsciously; she closed her eyes. But when she heard his reply, she abruptly opened her eyes and looked at him in surprise. Her cheeks were flushed in red. 

What was she thinking about? She must be crazy to think he was going to kiss her? Anna cursed herself for thinking those. 

Mike chuckled seeing her, 'She is so cute.' A sudden thought came to his mind. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks thinking about it. She was still cute and imm.a.t.u.r.e even though she was dressed more like a m.a.t.u.r.e girl, tempting the men's eyes. But she was still imm.a.t.u.r.e and cute but he didn't hate it, he liked it. 

"I just don't see someone who is perfect enough to dance with me." Hearing her answer, he was flagbassterd. She was saying that not even he was perfect for her. He wanted to say something but she already pushed him away and left in a free spirit. 

He was irked hearing her comment. But after thinking for a second, why was he angry at her comment? He was just with her because of his plan for nothing else. He doesn't have feelings for her then why he was so irked about her comment. He just had to act to make her fall in love with him but the way he was acting now people were misunderstanding that it was him who fell in love with her.

"It is just an act, Mike. Don't forget your main reason for getting close to her." He murmured to himself to make himself remember the main reason. He left the place not noticing that there was someone else during the whole time they were talking. 

After Mike and Anna, Mike's female companion for the night, Irena, came out from her hiding place. She was jealous seeing Mike with someone else. 

All these years, Mike never showed any interest in women, even if the woman takes the first step but suddenly he was taking the initiative to talk to her. She felt insecurities from her. All these years she has always been beside Mike, even when her ex-girlfriend died in an accident. She was there for him. But suddenly a woman came and took him away from her. 

No! She can't let that happen, Mike was hers, Mike is hers and always be hers. She will never let someone take him away. 

Irena gritted her teeth and followed Anna. Anna was lazily leaning over the railings and looking at the people dancing in the middle of the deck. She was drinking, with her looking she looked a bit tipsy. 

Anna didn't have a good tolerance for alcohol, even half a glass of beer can make her drunk, and it was already her third glass of champagne, the drink was already acting up. Though she was still conscious about what was happening around her, but soon her head started to become dizzy, she put the glass on the table knowing she can't handle more alcohol. She was about to go and look for a room to rest when Irena approached her.

In her first sight, she knows that Irena does not have any good intentions. Even so Anna didn't show her disgusted look on seeing her. She plastered a fake smile on her lips. 

Anna was obviously smelling trouble from her, but if she just ignored her, it would create more troubles for her. And Anna already noticed her on the entrance with Mike. She wanted to beat her to death seeing her being with Mike, arms interlocked as if they are a couple. But luckily she controlled her emotions well otherwise she would already be dead. 

Anna did look like a weak girl with a slim and weak figure, and as she can be knocked out with just a slight touch but not many know that she is not that weak as she looks. If she comes to her killer self, she can torture a person to death. She was trained in martial arts by her grandfather. Since she was also a competitor for being the heir of H company, she trained in everything like her sister. But not many know about it as most of her information and her family is kept in secret to avoid her from getting into trouble. Many even don't know about her being the other heir for the company after Sara and Quin. Anna's friends only think that she has a sugar daddy who is sponsoring her. 

"Miss Anna." Irena smiled as she called out Anna's name. Irena bought two glasses of wine for both of them. Anna was snapped out of her thoughts as she heard her name being called.

"Miss Irena" she faked out a smile and called her in a friendly tone. Of course who doesn't know Irena, she was an international idol signed under Andromeda Entertainment. 

She had almond shaped eyes, with colossal black eyes, with a small nose and heavy upper lips which was colored in flamingo red. With her clear and porcelain skin, and sharp jawline she looked like an angel descending from heaven.
