Chapter 171 - Nerd

During break, Sara was first to leave with one of her friends. Michael was putting her textbook in the bag, when someone tapped on his shoulder from behind.

"So you are the guy, who kissed my fiancee?" The guy said from behind. Michael looked up, gulping his saliva, he shook his head continuously. 

"Take him to the rooftop." Rayn ordered the guys behind him. Two bulky guys came up. One held Michael by his collar and dragged him to the rooftop while others followed. 

Reaching the rooftop, the guy let go of his collar. Michael was confused about what's happening. He even didn't know who they were and what he did to them. 

"So you are fighting with me, for my fiancee? Okay, let's fight like men." Rayn went in front, ready to beat him. 

"No, I…." Before Michael could explain, a punch landed on his face, making blood spill from the corner of his mouth.

"I…" he still tried to explain, but Rayn didn't give any chance, he spin kick hitting Michael's lower abdomen. 

Michael coughed a bit, feeling the impact. He holds his abdomen, takes a few steps back. 

"What? Trying to run?" Rayn mocked seeing a weakling like Michael, just then a kick landed on his face, making him fall. 

Rayn was surprised by who kicked him suddenly. He looked up; It was Sara. 

"If you really want to fight, fight with someone your level," said Sara, crossing her arm and mocking smile.

"Hero saving the beauty, or heroine saving the lad." Rayn got up and mocked. Hearing him, Rayn's friends started to laugh. Sara smirked, and walked a bit closer to him.

"They are still leads, not antagonists trying to be the lead." Sara's words shut everyone's mouth. 

She walked towards Michael and helped him,"Are you okay?" She asked, holding him up. 

Rayn can't control himself seeing Sara helping Michael, he walked towards them and pulled Sara away from Michael. Sara was pissed with him, she snapped away his hand. 

"Sara, you are my fiancee not his.Why do you care about him?" Rayn stated in annoyance. She was ignoring him for the new guy.

"I am not your fiancee, I have a boyfriend now so go say to your family, you don't agree otherwise don't mind seeing a devil." Sara declared, before holding Michael's hands,"Let's go." She said to Michael, before dragging him out. 

"You!" Rayn tried to yell at her but what she said was true.

Few hours ago…

Sara was sitting on her desk, studying with her headphones on. Suddenly someone sat down beside her, and took a headphone from her ears. 

"What are you listening to?" Rayn asked, putting the headphones on his. Sara clasped tightly on her pen, trying to hold her anger. 

"Get up." Sara stated, clasping her pen tighter.

"Huh?" Rayn looked at her in confusion.

"I said f.u.c.k.i.n.g get up from my seat." Sara yelled, slamming her hands on the desk and standing up. 

"Sara." Rayn got up and held her shoulder to calm her. He was ashamed as all the other classmates in the room started to look at them. 

Sara snapped away his hands, and pushed him out of her desk. "Let's talk outside." Rayn whispered softly to her and pulled her out. She didn't argue and went with her. She was already pissed because of what happened yesterday.

Yesterday, her father suddenly came back to her apartment and announced her engagement with Rayn. She tried to argue, but her father asked her if she loved someone, she didn't. Her father declared, if she has someone she loves, he would cancel the engagement. Sara was never interested in marriage; she only wanted to take her father's business; suddenly she was forced to have a love life if she didn't she had to get engaged to Rayn.

Rayn took her to the ground, she snapped away her hand after reaching there and crossed her arm, averting her gaze away from him. 

"Sara, why are you so reluctant towards me? I am your fiance." Rayn questioned her not understanding why she was cold and ruthless towards him.

"Fiance?" Sara scoffed,"I have already said no to this stupid engagement. You are an eyesore for me." Sara stated coldly to him. 

"You! Fine, I will say no to the engagement if you have a boyfriend, kiss him in front of everyone now." Rayn challenged her, feeling insulted by her words.

"You!" Hearing his words, Sara glared at him about to kill him. 

"What? You don't?" Rayn mocked her. 

Suddenly Sara's eye landed on Michael coming in from the gate. 

"No." She smirked before going towards Michael. 

He curled up his fingers into a fist in fury, Sara came back,"Is that enough? Since I kissed my boyfriend in front of everyone don't forget to cancel the engagement." 

Sara said before leaving, Rayn didn't say anything to her.

He stood there silent, gritting his teeth, he can't took his eyes off Michael. He, he was the reason that Sara didn't want to get engaged to him. 

Most of all, what will he say to his father? That he couldn't even win Sara's heart, and that's not it, she even kissed someone and he can't even stop her, instead he put gas to the fire.

Quin walked out to the ground with her friend and saw Rayn, looking towards the gate, his hand clasped together into a fist. She couldn't stop herself from checking at him. 

She excused herself from her friend, and walked towards him,"What are you watching?" Quin asked, standing beside him and looking towards where he was looking.

Rayn finally got up from his thoughts and saw Quin beside him, he scanned her from top to bottom.

'What a nerd.' he thought in his mind seeing her, wearing the skirt till the knee, with stockings and a pigtail hairstyle. He felt disgusted with her ugly look. 

Finding no one she looked back at him, Rayn scoffed seeing her face. Glasses and no make-up, she was so ugly.
