Chapter 15：The dwarf city

Daniel was still digging down near the edge of the jungle, as time passed he finally reached the bottom of the supposed hole he created, he couldn't dig normally anymore, he took a better look at the ground that he was digging and realized that it wasn't ground anymore!

It was a special alloy that was very though, of course, with his strength he could still easily break through it if he wanted to but he decided to call Ropego over before he would do that, Daniel shouted out from the hole to get Ropego's attention:

"Ropego I think I'm near the dwarf city come down now!"

Ropego like always was cleaning himself just like a normal cat would, when he heard Daniel he decisively jumped into the hole and after almost a minute of falling he perched directly on Daniel's shoulder. The fall did no damage to either of them as Daniel's body was extremely though and Ropego used an assassin technique to dampen his fall combined with his cat physique he was almost invincible to fall damage!

Back with Berarizo and Little Bai-Bai, they were already going back through the wasteland with the goods, they were getting nearer and nearer to the jungle.

Daniel punched a hole through the alloy that was blocking his entrance to the underground city then jumped down through it, in a few seconds he was directly in the middle of the city!

Thousands of dwarfs were shrieking in an unknown language when they saw Daniel, they started to run around like headless flies, not long after dwarfs with normal-looking guns and armors ran towards Daniel and said in broken English:

"Outsider, you outside, no come here!" Then they pointed their guns at Daniel and made a motion of wanting to shoot him. Daniel was yawning, even if he let them shoot him the bullets couldn't penetrate his skin, the guns looked pretty normal, they were guns that were used during the world wars by the foot soldiers they were very old, they were basically ancient technology nowadays.

Daniel became an afterimage as he took the guns out of the dwarf's hands and threw them on the ground, the dwarfs looked at Daniel then at their hands in wonder not knowing how their guns got on the ground.

The leading muscular dwarf of the group came forward and tried to get his gun back but Daniel took a small pebble from the ground and hit the dwarf in the hand with it scarring his hand and making him flinch backward.

Daniel started to observe the city and he shook his head at the sight, the city was extremely poor and most of the houses and buildings were made from stone and dirt, they really looked like cavemen, most of the normal dwarfs wore only scraps of clothes barely covering their vital parts.

Ropego walked towards the dwarfs and started to talk in their language which translated into:

"We come from above the ground and want to see your leader!"

The lead dwarf captain shook his head then looked back and forth from Daniel and Ropego not knowing what to do, he couldn't lead them to his leader could he now?

Ropego shook his head at the guard's indecisive attitude, he jumped on Daniel's shoulder then started whispering in his ear, even though the dwarfs couldn't talk English well they could understand it:

"Ok Daniel since they don't want to cooperate, just intimidate them dwarfs are simple creatures like most people they will follow the strong, you are one of the strongest on the planet it should be easy for you to conquer their race."

Daniel nodded his head indicating that he understood what he needed to do, he walked slowly towards the guard captain who started shaking in fear as Daniel let out a menacing aura as he walked towards him.

Like most dwarfs, the guard captain had a big bushy beard was half bald and had bad teeth, his armor was inscribed with strange runes that glowed with a little of electricity but it seemed all they did was add a flair to the armor, it didn't look like it enhanced anything.

Daniel punched him in his crooked red nose but not hard enough for him to get knocked out, he needed to intimidate him and his companions and he needed him to be conscious for that to happen.

Unexpectedly the dwarf didn't flinch at all from being punched directly in the face, he crooked his nose right back on and spit at Daniel's face, but Daniel easily dodged the spit then pushed the dwarf down and kicked him in the chest, the dwarf captain, however, was resilient and he didn't even scream in pain, it seemed like his senses were numbed or his willpower was extremely high.

Daniel was already exhibiting precise control any more increase in strength and he might injure the dwarf heavily and knock him out, but it seemed the dwarf didn't know what pain was!

Daniel decided to use more advanced torture methods that he learned from Ropego but the dwarf had an iron tongue!

While Daniel was torturing the dwarf captain Ropego made sure none of his subordinates could run away, Ropego shook his head at Daniel's attempts to get information failing then he said:

"You guard these little guys and I will extract the information, you are still too wet behind the ears concerning torture, watch and learn this is a new technique that I haven't taught you before."

Daniel made sure that no one the dwarfs could escape and afterward watched the way Ropego tortured the captain dwarf, Daniel started cringing inwardly as he saw Ropego's paw starting to inch towards the dwarf's pants.

Then he sighed and shook his head as the dwarf finally started to scream in pain, and what scream it was!

The dwarf didn't even last ten seconds under Ropego's paws and he spilled everything, Ropego nodded his tiny head and jumped on Daniel's shoulder then started to give him instructions:

"Go left then right at the intersection, jump over a few buildings and we should be able to get to the dwarf king's palace!"

Daniel started walking towards the destination and Ropego stood steadily on his shoulder ignoring everything else as he sent information and photos to Baidoa.

After Daniel finished with conquering the city Baidoa would send some people from the Iron Bunker and take over the dwarfs city.

It took Daniel approximately three minutes to find the palace of the king, which was made with better materials compared to the buildings and houses of the common folk.

Daniel easily entered the palace as he ignored all of the guards shouting and just hit them once making them fall to the ground like a bunch of bowling pins.

The dwarf king wore a crown made of grey metal on his head and unlike the common dwarf he didn't have a beard, his face looked young and his skin was fair if Daniel compared the normal dark skin of the other dwarfs with the skin of the king it would be the difference between the sky and the earth.

The dwarf king got up from his throne and said in perfect English:

"It seems you are different from the other dwarfs, I wonder what's special about you?"

Daniel appeared in front of the dwarf king then grabbed him by the neck like a little chicken, the dwarf king started to gasp for air but Daniel shook him a few times making his crown fall off his head, on his head, there was a tattoo of devil horns and a burning church.

It seemed that the dwarf king was a member of the Devil's burning church and he wasn't that weak actually, but Daniel was too strong, at most the dwarf king could be a mature devil as he was way weaker compared to Berarizo.

It seemed the Devil's burning church was controlling the dwarfs currently but this would change now with Daniel's intervention. Daniel forcefully infused the indigo-colored blood inside the king's head making him his servant.

He let go of the dwarf king's neck as he started to gasp for breath on his knees, Daniel then asked him:

"What's your name?"

The dwarf king got up from the ground and said in a cold tone of voice:

"Bibolz The Sixth at your service master."

Daniel motioned for Ropego to get over and asked him:

"So what am I supposed to do now? We are done here."

Ropego had a little evil smile inwardly, the job went extremely smooth just like always, having a meathead like Daniel to do all the dirty jobs of the Iron Bunker was very good in his opinion, the cat opened his mouth to respond to Daniel's question:

"Ok since you are controlling the king we don't have to do anything anymore, just inform him on what he needs to do." Then he told Daniel on how he should make the king put up a front as everything was normal while he did some other things in the background, the Iron Bunker was in need of a few slaves and guinea pigs, so the king could send them directly to the people that would come later to collect them.

He also told Daniel to tell the king that he should still keep in contact with the Devil's burning church and give them the same treatment as before, but he should contact Daniel when the people from the Church would come to get the goods they were supposed to get.

Bibolz started speaking after he heard all of the instruction from Daniel's mouth:

"Master there are actually a few Mature Devils coming these days for a batch of slaves you could enslave them as well so you could have some moles inside the church."

Ropego's eyes shined at Bibolz's words, this was perfect! Only Baidoa could use the enslavement technique due to his past, while there were also some strong individuals in the bunker they couldn't control people from the Devil's burning church and make them moles, Baidoa himself wasn't strong enough to infiltrate an unwilling target mind with his blood so even if they captured someone alive and sent them to Baidoa it would be useless, and capturing small fry like devilings was also quite useless as the information devilings had access to could also be accessed by some hackers from the Iron bunker.

Daniel thus decided to wait for the Mature Devils to come for the 'goods' so he could get some spies inside the Devil's burning church.

And it didn't take him long at all, two days afterward three Mature Devils came to pick the goods directly from the king!

Bibolz already knew how to act after two days with Ropego's instructing, nothing could be seen different about him, the other Mature Devils were known as Tiopo, Bardon, and Kioloa

They all wore the uniform of the Devil's burning church consisting of a tight red and black bodysuit with their tattoos either being on their faces or hidden.

Bibolz wanted to entertain them with a little bit of food and wine before they took the 'goods' and they accepted, it was a regular thing whenever they came to get the goods they would also munch off from the supplies of the dwarfs which were getting lesser and lesser every day.

The moment the trio wanted to get eating that's when Daniel struck! It was very easy for him to subdue them and it was a bit harder to enslave them but he still did it.

He now had three moles inside the Devil's burning church! And with their help, he could get some more advanced info about the church and its plans he could also see what kind of mission other members were supposed to do and he could target city's which were under the Devil's burning church jurisdiction to lower their morale and personnel.

Tiopo, Bardon, and Kioloa took the 'goods' as they were supposed to and left for the headquarters where they were supposed to be delivered, the 'goods' were slaves and guinea pigs for the experiments of the Church, basically, the Iron Bunker and the Church were on the same page regarding the dwarfs, they were useless and they could only be used as slaves and to be experimented on.

Daniel didn't really like it but he also didn't care enough to stop it, he decided to leave it to the dwarfs themselves and from now onwards he wouldn't interfere with their work, they were a pitiful race that was for sure, but there were other things he had to take care off.

For now, he had to go to another city and either take it over or create an alliance with it, after he finished with the cities he would have to take care of the Devil's burning church and hopefully by then, he would be strong enough to take care of the Iron Bunker!

That was Daniel's plan for the future, he was like a tiger crouching on the ground waiting for his unsuspecting prey to move in the right position before he would jump on it and tear it to shreds!

Daniel then left the dwarf's city the same way he came in to not expose it to anyone else, he also made the dwarfs fix the alloy wall, even though they were dumb they weren't extremely dumb so they could do some basic things. Afterward, he filled the hole he dug and entered deep into the jungle ready to find the next city which he could 'liberate'.
