Snow came in through the window of her room, she leaves it unlocked when she goes out and locked when she's back.
She quickly undressed before someone saw her and hid her clothes in it's usual spot under the loose floor bords.
Snow flopped down onto her bed exhausted, thinking about that guy who stood there calmly like it was an ordinary setting.
He didn't seem bothered at all with the fact that the others was going to get caught, guess he doesn't care much about other people, as long the job gets done, Snow thought to herself. That was the last thought as she drifted into sleep.
Yet again Snow was met with an army waiting for the chance to take her down, but as Snow had dreamt this before, she knew what was going to happen, even more she knew that she wasn't herself, but the king.
She had her own mind, but not her own body.
Everything is the same every night, she's being spoken too, but she didn't recognise the voice, or the other people in the room.
They made the same old threats, before ordering the solders to kill her. Snow always end up killing them as she was much stronger, but that's where her fate would end, as someone stronger would go against Snow. In the begining it looks like Snow could win, but the other guy had other plans, and ends up killing Snow after all, the same way as all the other times he would kill her.
Snow tries to get a different outcome, but it never works, her fate is sealed, and there is nothing she can do about it.
So when Snow wakes up, she's breathing hard and is covered in sweat. She usually gets up and goes towards the balcony, letting the wind sweep through her hair.
The dream feels real every time, Snow can remember the first time that she dreamt it, and it wasn't pleasant.
She jolted awake with the impact the sword made when it pierced through her heart.
Snow even had to check for any markings or scars that could have been left behind.
Snow breathed in the fresh air, trying to forget the nightmare. A little bit of light began to show, Snow noticed, the sun must be busy rising.
Snow went back to bed seeing the light, it always helped her to sleep peacefully.
When Snow woke up again the sun was high, she slept better than a few hours ago, so she got dressed quickly and made her way down the stairs for something to eat.
Today Snow wears a black leather skirt with the same leather jacket, her dark blue blouse is tucked in her skirt, to avoid it from hanging.
When she came in the kitchen, the staff was already busy with preparations for the ball. One of the maids showed Snow the food that has been left for her, on Noctis' order.
It's toasted bread with eggs and milk, which was still kept warm. Snow smiled at the thought of Noctis still thinking about her.
They were supposed to spent time together, two days back, but one of the servants came to inform Snow that they'll have to make it another time, as something important came up.
Snow was beginning to see less of Noctis as the days went on.
Snow finished her food and was about to head out for a bit of practising with her powers, when Noctis stepped into the room, Snow did make it past the dining room, but there she stopped when she saw him.
Noctis saw Snow and smiled at her, "Snow, I'm glad you're up, did you get the food that was left for you?" Noctis asked, to which Snow nodded, "good, and don't forget your final fitting for the ball, which is tomorrow night," Noctis reminded her. Snow was grateful as she actually forgot about it.
Before Snow could say thank you, the prince had to leave again.
Snow headed to the dress maker and was greeted with a lovely smile.
Snow saw that the dress was exactly the same, but this time the cape was almostpart of the dress, it was linked at the front, almost looking like it was laces. Then the cape still drapes off the shoulders, becoming one with the dress on the backside. It's still two pieces, but it looks like a one piece, as the cape is the same length as the dress, and both these pieces could reach the floor.
"It's beautiful," Snow commented, while running her hands down the material, "thank you, my dear, I worked hard on the dress to be finished in time," the seamstress said with a gentle smile.
The lady continued to make sure the dress is perfect and sits well at all the right places for the next evening, when everything was perfect, she told Snow that she could fetch the dress tomorrow morning.
Snow said goodbye and was on her way back to the palace when she saw a shadow behind, when she looked back, no one looked suspicious, but Snow got the slightest feeling that she was being followed.
Snow rounded a corner and took a couple more steps, before looking back again. She tried to see if there was someone who looked the same as before, but she couldn't know for sure if it is that person.
Then, still looking back she took quick, long strides and into a nearby ally, but because she wasn't looking where she was going, she bumped into someone. When she looked up, her eyes widened, "you! So you're the one who's been following me," Snow accused.
"well, I'm flattered that you think that I'll follow you, but you might want to look at someone else before you accuse someone you barely know," he said, before a smirk formed on his lips.
Snow glared at him,"I have every right to be suspicious of you," "Oh? How so? You've only met me at the market once," he asked in mockery, "well, let's see, one you're weird, two, you're ignorant, and three, you don't want to tell me your name," Snow answered angrily.
"Well, if you wanted to know my name so bad, why didn't you say so," he said, still smiling at Snow, not in the least affected that she's angry or irritated, "the name's Nate," he said, not waiting for her to answer.
"Well, that's great but I need to go now," Snow said, noticing that Nate's arm is still around her waist. When she tried to peel it off of her she looked up and looked straight into his dark blue eyes. When she didn't move, he arched a brow while looking at her, making her snap out of her gaze.
Then she quickly peeled him off, turned around and walked away without saying anything.
Snow could feel her cheeks burning while walking away, and she's almost certain that she heard him laugh.
She can't believe him! He really thinks that he could charm her, well, he has another thing coming for him, because two can play that game, she thought while storming off to the palace.
