60 First part of the prophecy: done

Name:The legend of ice Author:awada141
The visions ended. I thought that I would be back in the real world, but someone had to visit me in what seemed another reality... Alright, it was another vision.

I was surrounded by an endless black void, being completely empty except of the presence of my visitor, a pretty young woman named Kendra from the visions.

She was standing in front of me, looking at me with some hesitation, as if she didn't know whether I am the person she need or not.

"Kendra, isn't it?" I said, cutting the uncomfortable silence.

"Yes. Umm... Father?" she said, still with the hesitant look.

"Ah, I see. Why am I always mistaken to be another person?"

"..."

"Nope, I am not your father. But I am sure that he will be glad to stop telling me in my head not to reveal his presence and speak to you, right, Gu?"

"Thanks for the blow up!" said Pangu in my mind.

"You're welcome. Come back anytime!"

"Ummm... Hi?" said Pangu to Kendra.

"Father? Is that you?"

"Yes, dear, it is me. Ugh... How have you been all these years after my death?"

"Other than fixing a death spell and struggling to find my place in the world, I am great. But you don't seem to be dead at all. And where are you?"

"Yeeaah about that," said Pangu, "before my death I managed to ensue my soul into my axe. Remember that shiny, lovable, dangerous toy you and I used to play with? Yep, that's it. But it couldn't handls all my soul so it exploded into ten pieces, each piece containing a fraction of my soul."

"That explains a lot!" exclaimed Kendra. She pondered for a while and said, "Is this one of the pieces?"

She took out a piece of iron in the shape of a heart. I looked at it and said, "Yes, it is one of them. But how did you get it?"

"The axe exploded and this came towards me, although I left in the city. Do you need it?"

"Yeah we do. I am assembling your father's soul back together and that's the last one. But I am still hesitant whether or not I should revive an old trouble on Earth. What do you think?"

"What is left of me to think of? Take the piece, and do what your heart decides."

The piece flew to me and my vision blurred. When it cleared, I was back in the room in the now-destroyed city.

The piece was in my right hand. I took out the sword and said, "Are you ready, pal?"

"Oh? Now you decided? Am I not a trouble anymore?" he said.

"Oh come on, Gu! It was a stupid joke! I didn't think your daughter would take it seriously!"

"Forget it. What did she mean anyway? 'What is left of me to think of?'"

"She died, Pangu. This was only a remnant of her. The piece never left the city, it remained here. I guess Kendra knew that one day she would die, so she buried her memories of the city here along with the piece then left to the world."

Pangu sighed and said, "I have given her a great burden."

"You sure did. And if there were anything to be learnt from those memories is that you are not fit to be a governor, and you would make the worst father ever."

"Ha ha, we'll see what kind of father you would make."

"We will see. But for the moment, let me complete you."

I fused the last piece into the sword. It suddenly flew out of my hand and glowed strongly.

It didn't last for long, but when it ended, I could sense Pangu diving into a deep sleep.

"He would take some time. The first part of the prophecy was done, now all that's left is to figure out what does it talk about.

"I guess everything will play out by themselves eventually."

I didn't leave immediately, but went towards the palace, there was still something I want to check out.
