In the morning, we tied the captain with a spell and put him on his horse. He was still unconscious. As we walked through the road, and before reaching the palace, groups of warriors surrounded us, exactly as I expected.
"Guys, we really don't have to do this", I said in the Buddhist language while showing the face of their bound leader. "One more step and the man is dead."
They hesitated for some minutes but then decided to attack. I pulled out my wand and willed it to become a sword. Without any difficulty, I decapitated the captain, his head fell to the ground. Tulip looked at me in disbelief.
" Come on then. We are waiting for you". I said. The army charged at us and I dismounted my horse. It is time to test all the things that I had learned over the year.
Large groups attacked me and Tulip, who decided to use her wand as her weapon. She cast the shielding charm and sent tons of spells toward the enemy.
My sword slashed through the bodies of the attackers. I threw it as a spear and it cut through a hunderd men, while I used the laws of wind to smash them.
While swinging my sword, I felt like I was in a trance. I followed it and my movements bacame strange. My sword stances became more accurate, and every time blood came out of the enemies, the sword slowly absorbed them.
After approximately two hours, every single one of the enemies was killed, leaving a river of blood behind. I sat in crossed-legs position and closed my eyes. I sensed the blood river flowing towards me and the sword. Without knowing, this trance was a connection to the Dao of the sword, infused with the laws of water. Even more than that, I had become one with the sword, so the blood it was absorbing, I had a share of it also!
And with this, my first sword technique was born: Bloodbath- Blood Absorb!
But I sensed that this was not everything in it, this technique will have many more phases than the first one, and the 'Blood Absorb' phase will hold too many secrets.
The first phase that I have created is mainly for improving the strength of the sword, and partly to improve my body's toughness. Every time I would kill someone, every speck of their blood will flow from their body and strengthen the two of us.
I opened my eyes, and saw that the corpses had turned into dust. The sun had fallen and the moon have rose. Tulip had apparently chose to stay quiet all this time, but now, her look varied from shock to confusion to frowning.
She approached me and said, "What was that? Did you have any insights?". I nodded and stood up on my feet.
"I have created a sword technique related to the blood and slaughter. I didn't know that insight would come inside the battle."
"They weren't too powerful for a group of thieves.
"Oh they were. Every one of them was at least at the first diety level. The fact that we slaughtered them all means that we are the ones that are powerful."
She nodded and said, "But you were still right about the attack."
"I am a seer, Tulip. I sensed that something was going to happen, though it was not clear. It is only normal that I knew."
"You didn't tell me you had a vision", she said while teasing me. I just shook my head. "Now that the captain was killed and the army is dust, what will you present as a proof for the Buddha?"
"Ah yes, I forgot about that". I closed my eyes again. Instantly, the captain's head, which was still on the ground, disappeared. The head was back in its place, and the captain had apparently woke up, and he was struggling.
"What? He's not dead?" she exclaimed.
"No, I have cast an none verbal spell that creates an illusion. I have only made the army see that he was dead, but he wasn't truly".
"Where did you learn these things?"
"It is a divine sense technique that would allow me to create illusions. The book is in row C, shelf 3, the tenth book."
"I should definitely learn this."
I strolled towards the now conscious captain and immobilized him through my wand. We slept through the night, and in the early morning, we reached the palace of the Buddha.
