Chapter 687: Fighting against the supreme poison clan

Boom! The entire place suddenly exploded with dense amount of energy, the sudden event shocked everyone except for Shadowslash.

He had been bidding his time since the first time he released his scarabs to the village, the scarabs are both his diversion and the beings responsible for arranging a rune around the village.

The rune doesn't do anything except for forcing the people inside its range into an illusion, this definitely would cause chaos for all the members of the Supreme Poison Clan.

Without hesitation Shadowslash stood up and transformed into his battle form and flew towards the village, when he enter the illusion array he quickly activate his domain.

With the illusion array causing confusion, the illusions he summoned would further confuse his enemies, the entire area was engulfed into darkness and the entire world have turned into a living nightmare in the perspective of the people inside the village.

An individual with an old appearance let's out a loud cry as numerous buzzing noise started to sound out from his body, then just like an explosion numerous flies came out of his cloak.

Another individual started transforming becoming an hybrid insect man, all of the member of the Supreme Poison Clan started releasing their trump card knowing that they are now under attack.

Shadowslash took a deep breath and spat out a powerful stream of flames everywhere, now that the entire place is filled with insects he doesn't need to hold back and immediately went into a rampage.

His first target are the three strongest individuals of the group, he knew that he wouldn't be able to keep his domain active as long as he could when he was on second world, he had even had to decrease the amount of soul essence he gave to the two fish for refinement.

The three strongest individuals of the group were a person that is covered with dense poison smog, an old man that summoned a giant centipede and salamander, and lastly the only person that doesn't wore any cloak.

He then charged towards the old man with two slave beasts, because the three were now inside his domain they are oblivious of his intent.

But before Shadowslash was able to hit the old man, his expression changed but he didn't stop his assault.

Boom! The head of the old man exploded, he then commanded the two fish and a powerful soul attack obliterated the soul of the old man, leaving only pure soul essence that the two fish devours.

The death of the old man causes the two slave beasts to cry in pain, they started to roll in the ground before becoming stiff and dying, because the two were poisonous beasts Shadowslash decided to store them into the refinement pot.

His expression was very solemn as he looks at the remaining members of Supreme Poison Clan with a bit of dread, he wasn't nervous because of their strength but how quick they discovered that they are inside a domain and how quick they counterattacked.

The purpose of the illusion array was to put them into an illusion and have them think that they are still inside an illusion and not a domain, to think that his plan was seen through this early of the battle he couldn't help but marvel at the experience of this group.

He realised that he had been looking down on the intelligence of the warriors of this world too much, with his current predicament the only thing he could do is flee.

The members of the Supreme Poison Clan have destroyed the Despair Domain with their own domain but what greeted them were hit searing flame.

They quickly reacted and destroys the flame but behind the flame were the clones, they raised their swords and slashed with all of their might.

The two strongest individuals of the group easily dealt with the clones but the others suffered from the surprise attack and three of them were even heavily injured.

The man with long hair and four arms let's out a loud shriek that affected everyone even his group, he then became silent as if listening to something but after only sensing a couple of bugs and his own group he didn't found anything.

The cloaked individual covered in toxic fog also started looking around using his smog but he didn't found anything, he then looks at the man with four arms and said "Vlaze, I'll use toxic paradise, bring the others out from here."

The four armed man or Vlaze nodded, he then screech once again but this time it wasn't as piercing as before, then other than the cloacked individual all the other individuals flew up.

"Toxic Paradise!" With the cloaked man bellow, his entire body exploded and became a fog of colorful gas, Shadowslash who was watching from the shadows immediately felt a sense of impending endanger from the fog that was approaching.

Cursing his luck he quickly summoned all of his scarabs that were present in the village to devour the poisonous gas, buzzing noises was immediately heard as the other members of the Supreme Poison Clan saw numerous bugs flying towards the mass of gas.

They scoffed at this scene as they all thought that these bugs were flying to their death, Vlaze on the other hand reveal a thoughtful expression when he saw all of this, his expression then changed as he shouted "Rune Beasts?!!"

His cry startled his group but after finally realising what he had said their expression also changed ad they all look at the scarabs with great focus.

They then saw the runes flashing on the backs of the Primordial Rune Scarabs and they couldn't help but pale in fear, Vlaze quickly said "Don't be afraid, they are Rune Beasts alright but their strength is only comparable to Xiantian Realm to early Xiantian Emperor Realm."

The others then calms down and they started to sense the aura of the Primordial Rune Scarabs and they heaved a sigh of relief.

Shadowslash hiding in the shadows heard this and he couldn't help but sneer inwardly at their thoughts, if it weren't for the fact that his most powerful scarabs were in slumber right now he wouldn't be so afraid right now.

The mass of colorful gas then forms a giant being, it looks at the scarabs and saw that they are devouring parts of it and couldn't help but tremble in fear but after watching them for a bit, it realised that they are quite slow and many of them started dropping on the ground.

Shadowslash marvels at how powerful the poison fog was, he then frowns and ponders on how to solve his current predicament, he knew that he could only use his trump card and fight it out.

He then sighed and his expression became determined, he then flew upwards, his focus was on the four armed man or Vlaze.

Without hesitation he activates his berserk ability, his entire body started heating up, his fox tails, demon horns and chaos orbs disappears one by one leaving only his dragon parts.

He also fused with his swords and without hesitation he lets out a powerful dragon breath towards his target, all the members of the Supreme Poison Clan have already put up their guards for any attack.

Vlaze then transformed into a bigger entity but before he could finish his transformation he was engulfed in flames, even with his powerful defence and strong will he couldn't help but let out a pained screech as the flame continue to ravaged him.

Shadowslash was about to continue but the other members of the Supreme Poison Clan started attacking him causing him to stop in his track.

Even though he dodged most of the attacks thrown at him, he was still hit by two attacks, he lets out a grunt but didn't retreat on the contrary he attacks the nearest individual around him.

The nearest individual was a man with a crocodile appearance but other than scales, he also has spikes that exudes chilling light indicating that it was extremely dangerous, his scales were also bright green in color.

Seeing the incoming punch, the eyes of the crocodileman lits up, it seems that he is quite confident on his poisonous scale but before he could celebrate he felt the powerful heat that came with the fist.

Shadowslash wasn't holding back one bit and his attack came with all of his powerful, other than a powerful force his heavenly Qi and his origin level yang Qi also came with it.

Boom! With a loud explosion, the crocodileman was thrown back at incredible speed, he was also set ablazed by the powerful yang Qi.
