Chapter 701: Prisoner

The green core of the Sky Piercing Tree have become an incubator for its physical humanoid form, with the large amount of vitality and energy it had absorbed throughout the centuries, not to mention it is connected to the higher planes making the quality of spirit Qi and elemental energy it absorbed much higher compared to everyone in this world.

Based on his and Hentai's calculation, the humanoid form that the Sky Piercing Tree would take form would at least be a Saint with a strength comparable to Vlaze.

But he was confused as to why the Sky Piercing Tree seems to very anxious, after scanning it's core and it's health, he knew that everything was going smoothly.

The Sky Piercing Tree trembles and sent a message to him making his expression changed and became pale, but after listening to its explanation he now realised why it was feeling anxious.

Without hesitation he orders his clones to bring his main body to this location, he also told one of his clones to write a letter informing Meowy about what the Sky Piercing Tree have told him.

When his main body arrives in the room he quickly return his consciousness on it and have two of his clones help him stand up, his body is still not on the best condition but he doesn't care. 

The Sky Piercing Tree asks him in a worried manner if he still wanted to accept it's proposal, without hesitation he answered in a determined voice "Yes!"

The Sky Piercing Tree could only turn silent and seems to be sighing, a couple of seconds later, a violent fluctuation of spatial energy started flaring up inside the room.

Looking at the portal that appeared in front of him, his eyes started misting up and tears started forming on them, he could finally return home but this definitely gonna hurt because of his present condition.

Looking at the room he smiles and steps into the portal and he disappears inside the room, the clones that were standing inside the room started disappearing one by one.

Meowy received the letter and her expression couldn't help but change as she quickly ran into the room where the core of the Sky Piercing Tree is located.

But no matter what she does, the door of the room cannot be open, it seems that it had become an impenetrable wall, tears started on her eyes, the letter that she was carrying was now scrunched up.

Her reaction stunned everyone in the city, Lionheart and Phina quickly came to her side together with the two guardians asking her about the problem, without any hesitation she gave the letter to the two and their reaction is almost similar to her.

The letter is as written "Dear Meowy, Phina and Lionheart, you three are the most loyal individuals to me so I'll tell you this, I am not from this world."

"I came from a world that has no Saint on it, in that world I am the strongest and I have my own family there."

"The Sky Piercing Tree would undergo an evolution to form it's physical humanoid form, all access to higher planes would be shut off."

"I have decided to return to my old world today, because the evolution would probably take an amount of time and there is also a chance I wouldn't be able to find this world again."

"Today might be the last day the four of us meet again, your's truly Shadowslash."

Back to the present, Shadowslash was now once again undergoing a torture that rips his body and soul to shred, fortunately he has the space ball that Banjo have given him and the Sky Piercing Tree helping him calm down the volatile spatial energy in the spatial pathway.

But because of his present condition, he still took great harm, if it weren't for the space ball and the Sky Piercing Tree help, this would definitely kill him.

His consciousness continue to go on and off, the only thing that made him persevere and not faint is the memories of his family and the high chance that they are now suffering from the onslaught of the chaos beasts.

This situation continue for at least three days before he was thrown out of the pathway and landed on a path of land that was devoid of life.

Suddenly roars started blaring out as he was carried like a rag doll by a beast that was full of chaos Qi, they arrived at a cave and when they saw his state the people on gray armors shouted "Threw him on one of the cell, if he doesn't wake up tonight, you have my permission to eat him."

The beast that was carrying Shadowslash let's out an excited roar as it threw him into one of the cell full of humanoid beings of different race, the beast wasn't gentle at all.

He threw in the cell with great force as the force made him spat out blood causing his hazy consciousness to return, Hentai was the one who had force him to wake up.

His current condition is just too grave, if he doesn't wake up he would definitely die, Hentai might be able to absorb the surrounding energy and heal him but if his soul was truly in shut down, Hentai would also be forced to be shut down.

After all it was his Nascent Soul, feeling the extreme pain that was now wrecking his body he couldn't help but curl up, this continue for the next few hours before the pain finally subsided.

After experiencing such horrendous pain he lifted his head and saw numerous individuals looking at him with pity but most individuals looks soulless as if they have given up on living.

He couldn't help but frown but after sensing the familiar energy he couldn't help but shudder and immediately starts to tear in excitement and happiness.

The people in the cell looks at him and didn't show any emotion, they all thought he was crying out of sadness, meanwhile the people that were guarding the cell looks at him with disdain and snorted.

Shadowslash frowns when he realized the aura of the gray knights present and the chaos beasts that were moving at the area, he looks at the people inside the cell and his anger rose.

The people inside the room were the residents of this world, all of them were now slaves, he knew this because of the mark that was embedded on their body.

But he wouldn't be able to do anything because of his present condition, without hesitation he walks towards the people inside the room and sat in the center silently absorbing the chaos Qi in the surrounding.

The entire surrounding was now devoid of energy except for chaos Qi, he knew that this is cause by the chaos beasts and the gray knights that were now guarding the cell.

He decided that if he could recover 20% of his strength then he would immediately go on a rampage and kill all the gray knights and chaos beasts that are now present in this place.

Just as he was silently absorbing the chaos Qi in the area, the gray knights opens the gate and shouted "You lower beings move!"

The people inside the room moves in a monotone and dead manner, because he is still heavily injured Shadowslash could only follow the slaves in an obedient manner.

His eyes were darting left and right silently investigating the place and everyone inside the cave, his spiritual sense is also unusable, his soul was greatly harmed in the process of teleporting back to this place.

Especially since Hentai forced him to awaken making his soul injured and without spirit Qi in the area, he wouldn't be able to heal his soul, fortunately he has some medicine in Hentai's storage but unfortunately he wouldn't be able to get unless Hentai recover.

The gray knights forced them to build numerous strange items and because the beasts wouldn't be able to build it, they were forced to be the ones responsible for building it.

He sensed that the items that they are building are quite compatible with chaos element and he pocketed some of the items, his storage ring is now hidden on his mouth because he knew for a fact that if the gray knights saw his ring they would definitely take it.

He grunted but he didn't shout as the gray knights whips his back, after a couple of days his condition starts to become better but the constant whip and beatings he received from the gray knights cause his recovery to slows down.

A week later he opens his eyes and spat out his storage ring and took out a large amount of spirit stones and Hentai immediately use the energy to recover itself.

Without any hesitation he opens the storage of Hentai and took out large amount of medicine before throwing them into his mouth, his wanton devouring of medicine stunned the slaves who saw everything.

The gray knights saw this and they became furious they then open the cell door and was about to beat him, he on the other hand started cracking his bones and killing intent surge from his body.

Let the bloodbath start!
