Everyone inside the room opens their eyes wide as they realized that this was also considered another method.

The buff old man smiled in confidence as he said "Actually it is quite easy to find him since we have one advantage that the other guardian clan doesn't have."

He then pointed at the Young man kneeling in the center of the room and said "What will lead us to the chosen one is the little critters."

The young man nodded as he realized something, he then asks "Great Ancestor, do you mean that because they managed to benefit from the heavenly phenomenon and the heavenly phenomenon is the sign of the birth of the chosen one, the two of them are connected somehow?"

The buff old man shook his head as he explained "Not somehow but it is a certainty that the two are connected because only those that are close to the chosen one will be able to benefit from the heavenly phenomenon."

"So I asks of you, do you have anyone in mind that is considered as a candidate to be the chosen one?"

The young man turned solemn as he nodded and said "Yes, I have a candidate in mind, the former master of these little critters, an individual from Beast Continent that have his name resounding throughout the battlefield, Shadowslash."

The buff old man became startled, he then started mumbling "Beast Continent? How could he be there? From the information I have acquired, the chosen is a fox beast not a fox beastman."

He then smiled and thought 'Interesting, very interesting indeed.'

Back to where Mary and the girls are, the entire Demon Fox Clan started moving as they brought out a crystal ball with Mary's blood on it and they started moving towards a specific direction.

The entire clan were quite excited about the chosen except for two individuals.

The man in front of him looks at his son and sighed "I cannot help you with this kind of thing as even the Great Ancestor is adamant on making the chosen one a friend."

John's expression is now extremely ugly as he realized if he could not solve this problem, his time would be counted.

He then gritted his teeth as he decided to make amends and decided to take Flare as his lover but knowing that Flare is just an unknown fox beast, he couldn't but feel it was beneath him.

Looking at his expression, his father knew what he was thinking so without hesitation he kicks him.

John flew back at incredible speed as he was slammed into the room's wall causing him to spat out blood as he realized that his father wasn't holding back at all, some of his ribs were broken.

If the entire weren't reinforced with powerful enchantment and materials then it would have definitely exploded to bits with that kick.

His father then bellowed "You f*cking piece of sh*t! How could I give birth to an idiot like you?!"

"Listen here! If you couldn't solve this matter after we return from our expedition to find the chosen one, then I'll personally take your head and present it to Great Ancestor to ease up the relationship of our family with the chosen one! I wouldn't let you ruin the thing that our family work hard for."

With that he left the room, leaving the dumbfounded John to look at him with unprecedented grievance.

But he knew what his father have said is the truth, just like most kids on the clan, they always took their family's interest first.

As he left the room with gritted teeth, his father on the other hand rode a giant winged creature together with the people that were coming on the expedition.

After seeing that he finally arrived, the old man or what they call the Great Ancestor spoke "So have you dealt with the problem in your end?"

A chill ran through the spine of John's father as he spoke quickly "Yes, I have taught a lesson to my idiot son."

"Great Ancestor, you no longer need to worry about him."

The old man looks at him intensely for a couple of seconds before sighing as he spoke "The child needed to learn to keep his ego in."

Just as John's father was about to agree, he saw the old man patting the bird as they immediately flew up in the sky.

Swish! With speed so fast almost like they were teleporting, they managed to cross countless distance with just one flap.

While the Demon Fox Clan and Aqua Race Clan were preparing to find Shadowslash, the person in interest is now sitting in a cross legged position on his mind domain.

Shadowslash looks at his surrounding and saw the battalion of Primordial Rune Scarabs flying about, he was taken aback not because he was uninformed of how many they are since Hentai have informed him about this but he was shocked by the spectacular scene of the wave of Primordial Rune Scarabs.

He then looks at the early Primordial Rune Scarabs and was shocked when he saw that they have evolved from 2nd grade Rune Beasts skipping one grade.

The rest of the Primordial Rune Scarabs were 0th grade like the first batch but they aren't called Primordial Rune Scarabs.

Half of them were called Lunar Rune Guardians and Solar Rune Guardians.

They still have the devouring ability but other than this ability they also have the guardian ability.
