Chapter 669: The elk

The formidable beast in front of him looks like an elk but has a rainbow horns that has nine colors in total, it looks totally mesmerizing and exudes a feeling that it seems to be harmless but from his instinct as a top fighter he knew that this beast in front of him is no ordinary beast.

The colors of its horns are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, White and Brown.

The two of them kept on staring at each other clearly quite vigilant against each other, Shadowslash then raised his eyebrow as he realised that this beast in front of him was actually injured.

But just as this realization dawns on him another fact rangs on his head, since the two were both injured and still felt threat towards one another that meant that in their peak they also have the same strength.

After nodding towards the elk which caused it to jump backwards in shock he left but just before he could leave a loud roar was heard as a pressured that seems to freeze the air descended on the area.

A bull appeared but what strange about it is that it had two large front legs twice as thick as it's hind legs it was also longer.

Once the bull appeared it's attention was immediately drawn to the elk and from it's eyes greed could be seen, the elk looks at it calmly but from Shadowslash's spiritual sense he knew that it was actually angry.

The bull that was 15 meters tall let's out a loud moo and charged towards the elk with a momentum that seems to be unstoppable, each step would cause the earth to tremble but the trembling seems to be rhythmic.

The elk's body suddenly glows in bright light and a barrier made up of nine colors appears and envelops it and all 10 meters area around it.

Boom! When the bull crashed to the barrier a loud thud was heard and the entire surrounding seems to have been bulldozed, the trees around the area were either destroyed or blown away.

But the area around the elf stand tall and it was still gazing peacefully at the bull, Shadowslash who was watching everything from the sidelines was now radiating a solemn air as he realised that this world is much more terrifying that his second world.

But what was shocked him the most is the fact that the bull opens it's mouth and spoke "Sakura, I suggest you give it up! Now that you are weak after giving birth you will be no match against me."

The calm eyes of the elk changed that into hatred even though it did not spoke it was clearly furious, Shadowslash who was still marvelling about the fact that the beasts on this primitive world were able to gain intelligence have his expression changed when he heard what the bull have said.

Since this elk have just given birth it was clearly weak and the earlier powerful aura that he had sensed from earlier is just a fake show of strength.

Since this beast have an offspring and seemingly realising that this type of beast are the kind and mild type he suddenly have an idea of befriending it.

But the bull is equally powerful and he had no confidence of taking it down in his current state, while he was hesitating the deer looks at him with a pleading gaze.

He suddenly detected a hint of a foreign spiritual sense invading his field, without hesitation he accepted this spiritual sense and asks 'Are you the elk?'.

The eyes of the elk widens as it realised that Shadowslash knew about the usage of spiritual sense and judging from the strength of his spiritual sense his mastery is clearly better.

'Yes I am, I saw you and sensed no hostility in your heart and even have a faint idea of helping me.' 

The voice of the elk is very sweet and calming but this doesn't change Shadowslash's solemn expression, he was now digesting about the fact that this world isn't as primitive as he had thought.

After calming himself down he answered the elk 'I dislike people that are using the weakness of others to bully them, especially if the weakness is ones child.'

The elk chuckles and said 'From your first sentence about saying how low it was for somebody using ones weakness I could feel that you don't feel that indignant that meant that you would also do the same thing as long as it doesn't hit your moral.'

Hearing this Shadowslash's frown ,from how the elk spoke he now assumes that it could sense ones emotion.

Just like what it had said he didn't felt that bad when he announced that people are low when they use ones weakness but he did felt indignant when the weakness involves a pregnant woman or ones child.

Smiling bitterly inwardly he could only speak with the elk with honesty 'I can help you but I am injured and wouldn't be able to fight at my best.'

The eyes of the elk flashes as she realised that he was telling the truth, knowing this sadness quickly flashes in it's eyes before changing into determination.

'Sir can you bring my child away from this place?' Hearing this request startled Shadowslash greatly even though he was injured as long as the two of them works together they might scare away the bull.

The elk then senses something of course Shadowslash also sensed this and his expression changed as he flew towards the elk at incredible speed.

He then opens his arm to accept the elk's offspring but the elk shook it's head and answered 'Its already too late.'

Suddenly the entire space in the area seems to be locked by some kind of seal, the bull that was ramming on the barrier let's out a sneer to the elk and stomps it two front legs into the ground.

Some kind of suppression suddenly descended on both Shadowslash and the elk, the elk's horns glows brightly and the suppression that descended on it disappears.

Meanwhile Shadowslash took the suppression without any defence, the ground beneath him crack because of the pressure but he remains standing tall.

Inwardly he was cursing his luck, today he just want to travel to the Iron Boar Tribe and he actually encountered a situation just like this.

But he was confused as to how the Iron Boar Tribe and the Long Armed Monkey Tribe managed to cross this forest and arrive at the fox village with all these powerful beasts residing on it.

From what he had heard from Phina, the two tribes have sent a letter to the fox village before they arrive via a flying beasts from both tribes.

But he quickly reversed his thoughts back as he saw three more beasts arrive one looks like a giant moth it had pitch black body, the next one looks like a tiger with 3 eyes and scorpion tail it had gray fur, the third one is an eagle with green feathers and lasty a bear with two heads and six arms.

All of them together with the bull has the same distinct figure, they are incredibly huge for their species.

But this wasn't surprising in this world full of mysteries, other than their large physique there is also another thing common about them.

Their strength!

The three eyed gray tiger started to crackle as its laughter is both very uncomfortable to hear and when it finally opens it's mouth and spoke it's voice sounds very creepy "To think that the great Forest Enchantress Sakura would fall this far."

The moth (Robotic Voice): "It is extremely pathetic but now that you are trap in my domain let see if you can escape once again."

Right head of the two headed bear (Extremely loud and booming voice): "This game of chase is now over!"

'Chase? It seems that these fellows aren't from here.' Now that he realised that these five knew each other his speculation have a high percent of being true.

Overlord level beings such as these four belongs to a much richer and higher quality land, they wouldn't be satisfied with places like this.

The elk have now fallen to despair, it couldn't help but look at Shadowslash guiltily as it thought that it was it's fault that he was now involved into this.

It then asks 'Sir I need you to stay in this barrier for a while and after this event please take care of my daughter.'

From it's determination and the sound of its grieving voice in his head Shadowslash knew that this elk was going all out.

'Hmmm, I could deter this individuals if you have any method that could heal my injuries.' Thinking about something he offered another plan but even he doesn't believe that the elk have a convenient ability like this.

But he was given a shock when the elk looks at him in happiness and said 'I might have something like that!'
