I wave my hand. "Two hundred twenty five!"
With no one else placing a higher bid, the Red shout. "Two hundred and fifty once, two hundred and fifty twice. This is the last time. Anyone else? Alright, two hundred and fifty, this lady has won the bid!"
I move to pick up the contract card and payment was paid at the end. It was rather simple since the whole room a magic circle with bidding effect. It was the work of an old wondering wizard that Red manage to hire to make so she could have a save place to auction off her finds.
The rest of the three boxes sold to me at a relatively cheap prices at 200, 150 and 320. No one was interested in ordinary music boxes.
But the next lot was the wooden box that Red told me to check. I wasn't really interested in one time use spell Talisman but the inside box itself was made of valuable tree of life wood. If handle correctly I could get a tree of life seed from it. So it was my must have bid of the day.
"One hundred, one hundred is the starting price, is there anyone who's willing to bid one hundred and fifty, one hundred and fifty anyone…" shouted old Red,
I wave my hand signaling interest. Red pointed and shouted. "One hundred and fifty, one hundred and fifty is now the price. In that case, how about two hundred, two hundred anyone?"
All of the other immortals either wore a frown on their face or were talking among themselves, completely ignoring the bidding. No one who was willing to compete. The box look like a hoax. Items inside wooden boxes usually were of little value as they were flammable.
But Red had good eyes, this box had too good of a seal to be ordinary. I look around at the other people. Talisman weren't useful to me as I had plenty of artifacts but they were good for trading as they were life and death situation changing items. Adding two Talisman usually helps close a deal instantly.
Unfortunately there was someone else that has good eyes, "Me!"

Alcyone Ceyx annoying eagle-shifter was here. She was parading her lush body in tight black leather. Out of all the people I knew, she was the one person that I blame for most of my insecurities, and my parents divorce.
"Nice, it is now two hundred, two hundred. Then how about two hundred and fifty, is there anyone who's willing to follow with two hundred and fifty?"
"Five hundred!" I wave.
"Five hundred, five hundred is the bid, anyone who wants to bid six hundred, six hundred, anyone?" The auctioneer asked.
There was no one else who placed a higher bid. No one else had good enough eyes. I was quite happy as I collected the next card.
