Chapter 11 - 11 - Delutional Mother

"Why am I in the heavens realm by the way?" Yukiya asked the kind lady.

"Oh you are here to be my son's bride" the lady gleefully said.

"WHAT!"

Yukiya was shocked. 'Oh my god, I can't believe I was kidnapped to be a bride. How did they even find me in that cave?' She still is unsure how she managed to escape the thunder beast. When she was fighting with the said beast, she got a distress signal from Xiao Xia. The enchanted the hairpin she gave him had a small residue of her spiritual power, when shattered it sends a distress signal to her. That means Xia che is in grave danger.

Now she woke up in an unknown realm with a beautiful lady next to her. She kept blabbering on about marriage.

"Who am I getting married to?" i question the beautiful lady

"My son of course" she said with the sweetest smile she can muster.

"Who is your son by the way? Do i know him?" I asked in a obvious tone.

"What do you mean? You both fell in love and you ran away from your home to get married to my son" the woman said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

'I can't believe I would meet a romance fanatic in heavens realm' she thought as she kindly tried to correct the delusional woman. "I don't know your son and I don't love anyone"

"Please don't. You don't have to lie to me. I know you think that I will be a typical cruel mother in law. I will never try to separate you" the woman explained with her eyes wide.

"Lady may I know you name please" yukiya asked patiently again.

"Oh my name is Aurora. Yukiya, I am happy to have you as my daughter in law" Aurora said with tears in her eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Aurora. But you have to listen to me i was stuck in thunder caves..."

"Oh my goddess you met my son when he was cultivating. He fell in love with you instantly and proposed to marry you. So you ran from your house with my son! What a romantic story! the lady named Aurora kept acting like a kid on sugar rush.

"I..." Yukiya started but Aurora interrupted saying "I know you want to plan your marriage yourself and you want to invite your parents. I will convince them. Or else the entire heavens realm will go to war with them"

"I don't ....." Yukiya was again interrupted by the crazy woman as she continued her one way narration" I know you don't have a wedding dress yet. Fear not anything can be arranged. Maids go prepare a phoenix crown and red bride clothes for the princess"

"Princess? I...." she was interrupted AGAIN by the delusional woman "You might be in great amount of pressure. I know becoming a princess in a short amount of time is hard to take in but fear not I will be there to guide you"

Yukiya was completely silenced by the crazy woman's ramble. 'This delusional woman, she won't even let me explain. She won't LET ME TALK' she thought with her eyes wide as she looked at Aurora ramble on and on.

"Do you prefer daffodils or daisies? I think you are a daisy girl. I'll make sure to arrange the venue into a daisy field. Oh what colour do you prefer? I think red looks good in a theme wedding. I'll make sure everything is arranged for your engagement tomorrow" she said with a smile.

"Engage....." she began but Aurora cut in saying "I know you must be tired from all the running you did from your family. I'll let you take your rest" she smiled as she waved goodbye.

"Wait" Yukiya called out barely above a whisper but the beautiful women had long gone out of the room. This is the first time Yukiya had met a person who can out talk a 'Talking Frog'. She had seen a talking frog near her river once it kept talking so much she had a headache next day. Xia che got annoyed so much he chased it away with a stick.

Another room in the heavens palace:

"What? She found out!!! Raijinnnn you said she will never find out" Long Ki demanded the little thunder wolf pup.

The pup dropped its ears and said in a guilty tone "master one of the maids let out the information. I'm sorry master" the pup started to whimper.

"What to do now?" Long ki pulled at his hair. "i don't want to get marrieddd" the red dragon shouted out loud.

"Master, we can try to clear the information to your mother" wolf pup suggested with its ears perked up.

"Talk? I'll be listening more than talking. You know how my mother is when it comes to romance" Long ki shuddered uncomfortably at the thought of his fanatic mother.

" I am doomed" the red dragon ran around the room in frustration.

Raijin looked at his pitiful master from a distance. His master had always been the best in everything. He could lead wars, he could strategise his enemies, he could rule wisely but there is one thing he is absolutely incapable of dealing with. His mother.

His mother had been his master's only weakness for thousands of years. When master was young his mother found out that his EQ was very low. So she took things in her hand and started training his master how to feel. She took special attention to his master not the second prince.

Raijin had never attended one of her special classes. But through the reaction his master gave anytime his mother was near was enough proof to say she was very strict. After the special classes master would always shudder in fear when he heard the words "Romance", "Marriage"& "Love." One of his enemies came to know of his weakness and said these prohibited words out loud. His master went ballistic and killed everything on his path.. From then on those words became more of a taboo in Ki palace.
