"But this is inhuman," Xia shouted.
Long rushed next to him and held him close. "Xia we can discuss this later. First, we need to find Yukiya," he whispered.
Xia strained in his arms, but later he took a deep breath and calmed himself. "Where is your boss?" he said.
"Right this way," the man had lost his patience explaining things. He took them directly to a remote courtyard.
On the way, Xia carefully looked inside each of the cage trying to find traces of his mother.
But there were only a few in sight before they reached the kidnapping gang's leader.
The man leading them stopped in front of the door and silently stood guard by the doorway. Sighing, Xia and Long entered the room at first the room seemed deserted but a silent man was standing in the inconspicuous corner. His back faced them as he gazed out the window.
"Guests welcome to Black Auction," he said and slowly turned towards them.
Only half of his handsome face was revealed, but he smirked glancing at Long Aotian.
"I did not expect to see you here. In this mundane world," he whispered and fully faced them.
Half of his face was fully burnt with its huge scar left behind.
"You...," Long whispered astonished. "You are still alive,"
"Yeah didn't expect that, did you. This great Oli to be still alive and kicking," the man sneered.
Xia was confused. He slowly leaned over to Long and whispered, "Who is this man?"
"Oh, how could I forget to introduce myself, my name is Olian, I was a heaven's gu..." the man started
"You are better than this Oli, you were a good man, what happened to you?" Long finished his sentence.
"What is it little Aotian do you not know or do you pretend not to," the man sneered as he walked closer. "I had to suffer from this because of you," he pointed to his burnt scar.
"What? What does he mean long?" Xia whispered.
"Don't believe anything he says okay. I will explain everything later," Long Aotian held his shoulders and gazed deeply into his eyes.
"Okay," he whispered with an innocent smile.
"AM I disturbing the love birds?" The man said with a creepy smirk.
"You got that as a punishment," Long shouted pulling Xia behind him.
"Punishment? For what being truthful? For being loyal? Haha," he started laughing crazily. "I didn't deserve any of that torture," he shouted in Long's face.
"Don't whitewash yourself, you were a spy selling our information," Long sneered.
"Why would I do that? You pretentious bastards always have a way of making black into white don't you," Oli pulled Long's lapels. "I lost my family because of you,"
"We didn't hurt them, they got hurt because of what you did," Long whispered with a pained look.
"I really cannot reason with you," the man let go of him and walked away. "Now, what do you want here? You are disrupting my business," he said glancing out the window.
"It was your men who brought us here," Long said.
"Oh, I think it's because of him," He pointed at Xia. "They would have suspected that he is the Yin constitute that was to be sold today," he said in a casual tone.
"Hey, I don't have Yin constitution, why does everyone think that," Xia exclaimed peeking from behind Long.
"Shh, Xia stay behind," Long whispered and pulled him behind him.
"We got this a day before," Oli said and opened a rolled-up painting. Xia's face was vividly drawn on it. "And we were promised this man. That why Long, you can leave but he has to stay," he smirked.
Long glared at him and said, "Oli, don't show your anger at him,"
Oli turned back with a smirk and spread his hands. "Why, why would I be angry? I was promised something and I will get that no matter what,"
A lone nerve started ticking on Long's forehead. He slowly turned back to Xia and mouthed, "Leave, I will take care of him,"
"No, I want to stay here," Xia whispered.
"Haha," Oli laughed and charged at him.
Long turned back and tackled him to the ground.
"Xia, go save the humans," He shouted holding Oli flat on the ground.
"But you..." Xia stuttered glancing back at him.
"I'm fine, go save them," he shouted.
Xia took one last glance at him and ran out of the room. He darted to the room he saw the caged humans. But there were guards inside it.
Stealthily he moved from one cage to another and unlocked it.
"Shh, don't come out yet. I will give you a signal when it's safe," he whispered to everyone.
After moving around for fifteen minutes, he freed all the cages. Slowly he moved behind a guard and shot him with his water slicer.
Water sliced at the back of his neck, knocking him out cold. He did the same for all of eth other guards.
After he knocked him out he whistled out loud. All the girls and the boys in the cages rushed out and ran to Xia.
"I don't think there are guards by the east gate. Follow this line. I have set up circle at the meeting spot, wait there," he said and a small line appeared out of thin air.
All the while the guy was showing around the Black auction site he had secretly placed a magic line on potential escape routes.
All the captured humans ran towards the pat, but one of them stopped in front of him and begged, "Please you have to save my master, she is kept in another room. Please kind sir, please,"
"Lead the way," Xia said and followed after her.
The woman led him through another passageway. But guards were standing throughout.
"Sir, leave, I will sacrifice my life, but please save my master," she cried and rushed towards the guards.
Xia sighed and raised his palm. A wave of water rushed into the corridor and formed into small lotuses. Whenever the guards touch it their body started to freeze.
Soon the entire corridor was filled with frozen statues that once use to be men.
He rushed towards the woman and shook her shoulders. "Lead me the way," he said.
The woman snapped out of it and rushed towards the door at the end of the corridor. She swiftly opened the door. A man loomed over a small golden cage with a whip in his hands.
Xia lifted his hands again and small blue water flower floated over to him. The man dodged but he did not see another flower launched his way. Wide-eyed his body got frozen in the same position.
"Princess," the maid screamed and rushed towards the golden cage.
"Move back, let me open it," Xia said and moved closer to the cage. A young woman dressed in pink, peeked at him thought the rails. A small water snake formed in Xia's palm and coiled around the lock. The lock snapped and Xia swiftly opened the door. The woman launched herself into his embrace.
"My saviour, thank you," she whispered into his ears.
"Ahh, yeah," Xia mumbled with his hands wide in the air, trying not to touch her. "Excuse me, but we have to leave now," he said but the woman refused to budge.
"Princess, we have to leave," the woman who led the way whispered.
"Mina, you are safe, thank god," the woman left Xia's embrace. She pulled the woman to her knees and hugged her.
"Ah, as much I want to see your emotional meeting, I would prefer to get the hell out of here," Xia said with a fake smile.
"Yes, my saviour, I would even follow you to the end of this world," the young woman whispered with shimmering eyes.
"Hmm, okay, let's go,' he said and darted out.
The two young women followed him. He led them to the lines and told them to follow it.
"Saviour, I'm scared please come with me," the woman in pink cried hugging his hands.
"Sorry, my friend is in danger I have to save him first," Xia said and pulled her hands away. "Follow the line and wait at the meeting spot,"
"Anything for you my saviour," the woman cooed and strode out of the room.
Xia darted over to the boss's corridor. He could not think of anything else other than his beloved little snake, and how he might be in danger.
'I'm coming little snake, just hang on,' he thought with his hands clenched.
He reached the familiar corridor but it was already aflame. Blue flames spread throughout making it impossible to see through.
"Long... LONG where are you?" Xia screamed by the doorway.
But there was no reply.
Flamed engulfed the entire hallway and smoke started to ooze out.
He summoned a water ball and threw it at the flames but it was repelled.. "Shit," Xia mumbled.
