Chapter 103 - 103 - My Lover

Xia took a quick bath without the little snake. He kept kissing him here and there; they were in a potentially dangerous demon's territory so he did not want to offend him.

Long walked out of the bathroom with a pout. "I missed you in there," he whispered and hugged him.

Xia felt his neck tingle from his touch. But still, he pushed his face away. "Long.. focus please... we are here in the midst of a dangerous demon according to you. Let's not do stuff like this,"

The little snake pouted even more. "But.... but I will die without you,"

Xia gazed at him with a wooden look. "No, you won't. I will compensate you when we leave this place." He strode to the door, opened it and hesitated, "Oh, if you are rut is becoming intolerable, let me know," he said with a red face.

"I feel like experiencing rut every day," Long murmured and followed after him. He gazed down at his tight pant and whispered, "You are of no use now. Go and come back later,"

They both walked through the wooden corridor and reached a room attached to the outdoor garden.

"Wow," Xia whispered, seeing all the flowers and herbs growing there. "How are they growing without sunlight?"

Icarus smirked at him. "My butterflies provide them the light they need. And I have a large supply of spirit wat...." he stopped mid sentence gazing at Long. There was shock written on his face.

He shot up from his seat and pointed to him. "You... how are you still alive?" he whispered.

Long glared at him. "Are you cursing me to death?"

Icarus shook his head and peered at the youngster standing in front of him. 'How is this possible? Didn't he die ten thousand years ago?' he thought.

"What the hell are you looking at?" Long said.

'No... It's not possible at all. I saw him die right in front of me. How could he be alive? He looks just like him though.' The demon lord thought.

'Is he his reincarnate? This is bad this brat has the royal bloodline.' His corpse butterflies had a taste of his flesh, so he knew that this guy is a royal golden dragon. And demons like him hated the royals the most.

'It's not good for him to be with young master Xia,' Even his own leader would not be happy about this development.

"You.. Why are you in the mortal realm? Aren't you a royal?"

Long huffed and sat down next to his lover. "It was not by choice. Your demons attacked me when I was ascending," he said.

Icarus smirked and sat down opposite them. "Hmm, by kind so hate yours. But we are not malicious enough to attack someone without a cause," he said.

"Huff, demons are all the same. Why are you patronizing me so?" Long shot back.

Icarus chuckled and picked up the teapot in front of him. He slowly poured some in Xia's cup and moved to pour in Long's cup. "Tell me, for instance, if someone close to you was a demon, would you kill them?" he inquired Long.

Furst, Long picked up his lover's cup and sniffed. He nodded and handed it to Xia. "I wont kill them but I will stay away from them. I hate the demon kind. All they know is to cause havoc everywhere they go,"

Icarus laughed aloud. "Good, good, this new generation of royals are MUCH worse compared to the past," he sarcastically said.

He sipped the cup, thinking back to the old times. The royal bloodline hated demons to the core. They started exterminating even the peaceful demons.

It was just one of the reasons for the great war.

The seven demons lords arose and fought for justice. Sadly, it ended up in their race almost on the brink of extinction. The seven demon lords went into hiding in the human world, safeguarding their precious treasure.

Icarus sighed and placed the cup down softly. "Young master, I would like to talk to you alone," he said to Xia.

Xia sipped his tea and placed it down. "I can, but you have to do me a favour,"

"Anything for you, young master,"

"I want the Lusiha herb." Xia said with a calm smile.

Icarus nodded.

Xia gazed at Long with an insistent look. "Long.... ahh.. it will but its just a minute. Please.. Pretty please,"

Long glared at him and pouted.

Xia scooted close and whispered in his ear, "I will revoke your punishment. We can do this and that."

"No, I won't agree," the golden dragon huffed.

"Please.., for me," Xia tilted his head and blinked innocently.

"No, never," the dragon was stubborn in his decision. He did not want to put his lover in risk for even a minute.

Icarus snickered and snapped his finger. The golden dragon froze.

"Long! What happened? What have you done to him?" Xia shouted.

"I have just frozen his time. Nothing else. It won't hurt him, nor cause him any damage," the demon lord said.

"And as for your previous question," he pointed to the garden, "everything here is yours, my lord. I am just a gardener taking care of it for you," he said.

Xia blinked. "What do you mean?"

Icarus took a deep breath. "Young master, I bet your mother has explained about your lineage. So I will skip that part. You father has made me safeguard this palace for you to inherit it. I waited for you for a long time."

Xia blinked even more. 'What? Yukiya mommy never said anything about my father. Who is he talking about? Is it related to my real parents? Who is my father?' a ton of questions jumbled around in his tiny little head.

"Pardon, which mother are you talking about by the way? I have two," Xia said with two fingers outstretched.

Icarus paused. "I don't understand what you mean. How do you have two mothers?"

"My birth mother died along with my unborn siblings," Xia said with a sigh.

The demon lord shot up from his seat again.

"WHAT! How did she die? I recon those royal bastards had something to do with this." He said and raged. His hair weirdly started floating around him and his white eyes shone just like those corpse butterflies.

Xia lifted his hand slowly. "She was killed by a raven," he said.

"A raven! That's absurd. It's not possible for Marrion to die like that," Icarus slapped the table. It instantly turned into dust.

The tea cup and pot fell down onto Xia's lap.

Xia patted his now tea-soaked clothes and sighed. "I think you have got the wrong notion. My original mother was not someone powerful. She was a red crayfish."

"No, no, your mother, Marrion, was the great monster of the seven seas. Even the heavenly dragons would tremble under her stare," he said. "So it's not possible for her to be killed by a raven,"

"My adopted mother saw her being killed," Xia said to the furious butterfly in front of him.

Icarus breathed rapidly. "Ravens... I'll kill all the ravens in this world. How dare they kill my dear friend," he shouted in a weird voice.

Xia sighed once again. He stood up from his seat and whispered, "I think our talk ends here."

"No.. No please sit young master, I have to tell you about your great father." Icarus said in a hurry.

"Is he alive?" Xia whispered with a down cast look.

"Yes, my master, your father is well and alive,"

"Then that good, I do not wish to speak of this anymore," Xia said.

Icarus stopped him from leaving. "Young master, I have to tell you about your father, he.."

"I don't want to know. I don't care who he is or what he is. He is not part of my family and he stays that way," Xia said with his eye narrowed. It is one of the rare occasions that Xia got so angry. First this man in front of him treated Long so badly. Secondly, he never cared to know about his birth parents.

If his father was alive, he should have come visited him. He had ample time to do so. But he didn't.

After knowing the truth about his birth parents, Xia waited for his father. Every birthday his only wish to the stars was.

{"He would come for me. We can play,"

"Maybe he doesn't know I'm alive, so he did not come,"

"He will definitely come, I have wished to the stars,"}

But no one came. His thoughts and wish to meet him faded after a thousand years. Eventually he did not care.

He already has a real family. It was his mother, Yukiya and his lover, Long Aotian. No one else.

Xia sighed. "This discussion ends now. I want my herb and we are leaving," he said in a firm tone.

Icarus sighed. "I... I can't force you to stay here young master.. But I worry for you young master. This man is not good for you," he said pointing to Long.

Xia stepped forward and glared at him.. "Watch what you say. That man is my lover,"
