Fifteen minutes ago:
Prince Gua started swimming vigorously downstream and the water was helping him gain speed. He was like a carp in water, fully determined to swim his way out.
But as the water stream slowed down, he had to swim past many floating water plants. There were lotus plants. Its roots often got tangled up on his legs. He ripped it out and still swam ahead. As he was swimming, another water plant got stuck on his face.
"That darn tree, I'll make it regret the day it was born," He shouted, spitting the water plant out of his mouth.
After swimming for a while, he still could not see any traces of that deceptive tree. Then he saw a log floating on the corner of the river. That's when realization hit him.
He had been tricked.
Trees can't swim. Even if they were magical trees that can talk, they only float. If that tree had gotten downstream, he would have seen its traces by now.
"Ahh I Can't believe I got tricked. I will burn that bustard tree. That's only after I make it spit out my bait," he said. He patted himself, saying, "calm down. Nothing good comes when you are angry,"
Suddenly a small floating log hit the back of his head.
"That's it I am going to destroy anything that comes my way AHHH," he roared and swam upstream.
His swimming strokes were not that fast compared to before, but they were still steady. Prince Gua could already feel the strain in muscled as he swam.
"This... I will never give up. That dragon is mine, and that tree is going to be my firewood, hahaha," he maliciously laughed as he swam by.
The nearby ravens watched this crazy fellow. "Hmm, they world has come to this. Many humans have gone crazy. I hope my child will not learn from them," a momma raven said.
It gazed at her stupid fledgling. It had grown up but still retained the habit of scratching in between his legs. "What are you doing? Why don't you forget that disgusting habit?"
The stupid fledgling cawed. "But mom, I want to be like that man. He got super powerful after he kept rubbing in between his legs," it said.
The momma raven could not say anything else. It sighed and whispered to the other ravens, "make sure to choose a good spot to build your nest, otherwise your children might end up like my stupid son,"
The other ravens nodded and went back to watching the crazy human.
Prince Gua could feel many eyes peering at him from a distance. 'Who is it? Is it my enemy nation? How many are spying on me?' he vigilantly looked around.
He only saw a few trees and crows perching nearby. "Che, only stupid crows. My senses are so muddled after soaking in water for so long," he cursed and swam ahead.
The ravens got irked by his remark. "Momma, he called us stupid," the baby crow cawed.
"Yes, how could he? We have to get our payback," the raven shouted amongst themselves.
The baby crow called for attention. "Lets go shit on him," it said.
All the other crows agreed and flew overhead across the stream.
Prince Gua was too busy swimming to notice a murder of crows flying overhead.
The crows cawed loudly. They all lifted their tails simultaneously and pooed right on the stupid human's face.
Prince Gua who was pooped on was stunned for a second. He stopped swimming and floated around. 'No way... it can't be.' His trembling hands slightly touched his wet face. A white goo like substance was wiped away.
"AHHHHHHH, SHIT, IT'S SHIT," he shouted as he flayed around. He dunked his head underwater and scrubbed violently until no traces were seen.
With murderous eyes, he gazed at the crows above him. "You... die," he shouted. A small ball of light shot from his hands. One after another he kept tossing at them.
"Light magic! Run.. No fly," the raven cawed as they fled the rain of light balls tossed their way. Thankfully, none of them hit the crows. They all escaped safely.
"AHH, you stupid crows, you guys wait. I will extinguish you entire species," he shouted with his hands clenched.
But the prince and the ravens did not know that this was the second time in the day someone had threatened to annihilate the crow species.
Prince Gua spat out another plant from his mouth and swam ahead. "I will show all my anger to that tree. And I will definitely get that dragon. That dragon is my goal. I will get him," he kept repeating the sentence to motivate himself.
Soon he reached the waterfall from which he had jumped from.
"Prince Gua, did you find him?" the old mage shouted from above the ravine.
"You stupid old crone, that tree tricked us. He is hiding somewhere around here. Use your stupid compass," he shouted.
The old man wiped his sweat and took the compass out of his sleeves. he chanted a small spell, and the compass lit up with a soft golden glow.
The arrow turned around until it stood still, directing towards the waterfall.
"Prince, the compass is pointing at the waterfall. I think that creature is there," he shouted.
The prince growled loudly and gazed at the rapidly flowing waterfall. It was just luck that he survived the first fall. But going past the screen of the waterfall would be difficult.
He patted his cheeks and shouted, "For revenge and for glory,"
He swam swiftly towards the waterfall the water did not slow down for him. at the halfway point the water pressure above him was too much, so he started to sink below.
He tried paddling to the surface, but the water kept pushing him down.
With his bulging cheeks he thought, 'if I Can't swim I will walk in the water surface then,'
With heavy step he started walking underwater. At first it was difficult, but soon he got used to it. He saw a small cave opening from underwater. 'This is it. That darn tree should be hiding here only,' he thought as he dashed towards it.
But he was too hasty; he pushed a large rock on his way, which in turn toppled down onto his feet. He tried lifting it, but the rock was too heavy for him. He hit it with a small light ball. Still, his legs were wedged firmly in-between rocks.
He could feel his breath running out. 'Shit i have to get to the surface soon. Or else i will die,' he thought with desperation.
With his struggle, he lost a great amount of air. His lungs were being crushed by the lack of air. 'i need....air' he reached for the surface.
As he was reaching a small jade foot appeared in front of his hand. In desperation, he grabbed onto it. But the owner of the leg tugged away.
'Help...help' he gripped the feet tightly. It was as if a drowning man holding onto a piece of driftwood. With desperation, he held on firmly. 'If this person could come down here, this person could free me,' he thought and dragged the owner of the feet.
Xia who was suddenly dragged underwater was stunned for a second. 'Is it another water ghoul?' he thought as he held the hand that was holding him.
It was a young man. He was struggling to breathe and was dragging him down as well.
Thankfully, Xia was aquatic so he could breathe very well. He noticed the man was in his last breath. 'ah, he's gonna die,' he thought and inched closer. Usually when he found drowning human he would save by sharing his breath. But now weirdly so, he felt it was not appropriate.
'hmm a bubble will do,' he thought and blew out a bubble. With his hands he kept collecting all the air bubbles he blew out from his mouth and made it into a big one.
He then placed it next to the human's nose and mouth. "Breathe human.. Breath," he softly whispered.
The young man in front of him suddenly opened his eyes. His silver hair was floating around him, creating an ethereal halo.
He dragged Xia close and pointed to his feet.
Xia followed his direction to find the man's feet wedged in between two rocks.
He nodded and swam down. He dragged the huge rock and freed him.
The silver haired man hugged his waist and dragged him o the surface. They both gasped in a breath of fresh air.
"Are you okay?" Xia whispered.
The silver haired man blushed. "Yes, my angel. I am," he said with a smouldering gaze.
Xia gazed at him with his head tilted. 'Angel? Did he hit his head?' the silver haired man was still peering at him without blinking. 'Poor guy, i think he really has gone crazy.' Xia thought in pity.
The man suddenly held his hand and kissed it. "Angel san, please you marry me?"
