Chapter 131 - 131 - Her Name

The old mud dragon's soul started trembling. "dragon lord, I...I..." he stuttered. His soul shivered at the magnanimous aura this golden dragon emitted.

Frowning, Xia held his lover's hands and gazed up at him. "Why are you glaring at him, ah?" he whispered.

"N..no, I was not," Long said with a serious look.

But Xia did not believe him, even for a second. He patted his shoulders and pointed opposite to them. There was a mirror right opposite to them, and Xia had seen the golden dragon's glare.

Long Aotian smirked awkwardly. "Hoo, I did not like you calling him master," he said with a pout. He wanted his lover to use all the endearment to address him.

"he is teaching me pill making, so he should be addressed as master. You...do not tell me not to," he said, glaring at him.

The golden dragon shot a resentful glare at the old souls and pouted again. "then call me master as well," he said.

His unreasonable requests were rejected instantly.

For Jinjue, this was a new experience. She had seen space rings, largest was just twenty cubic meters. That itself costs a fortune. But this space, it was as huge as their castle. The halls, its high ceiling was covered in huge blue Crystal's and illuminating pearl making the place even more dazzling.

Seeing all this, she gave another scrutinizing gaze at young master Xia. when she first met him. Judging by his clothing, she had guessed that he was a young master of some influential family.

And also there weird transparent soul hovering around. The spiritual energy oozing from it was very dominating. weirdly so, this soul seemed to be scared of Young master Long.

Noticing all these, she came to a conclusion that Young master Xia and Young master Long are not people to be offended.

"um...." she started, but the two were busy bantering. but the soul noticed her hesitant gaze. he flew over to her and watched her with scrutiny.

"This Young lady, are you from the Dallion tribe?" he said, holding his wispy beard.

For a second Jinjue was shocked. her tribe has been extinct for hundreds of years now. only she was the sole survivor.

"How did you know?" she whispered vigilantly.

The old soul chuckled. "fear not child, I am but a lingering soul. I can't harm nor enslave you. but be careful, child. there are bad people in this world that would not hesitate to do so."

Jinjue nodded.

Dallion tribe were known as the perfect slaves because historically their tribe was captured and enslaved. it was easily done by just uttering their name and calling them a slave. so she never told her name in the past. even Felia did not know her name.

"Felia's maid, Felia is in the next room I'll take you there," Xia shouted and dragged her over.

The old soul hovered next to them. "You didn't share to them as well," he whispered close to Jinjue's ears.

She gazed at him with narrowed eyes. "I didn't. no one knows,"

The old soul was a little baffled, but it was a logic decision. It is better to reveal your weakness to the most trustworthy people.

While he was deep in thoughts, they had already reached the bedroom. Felia and a puppy laid them peacefully.

"Young miss!" Jinjue shouted and ran over to her.

Uncontrollable tears rolled down her cheeks. Sobbing, she softly held her hands. "I have failed you young miss. You have been like a sister to me, but I....I failed to protect you," she cried.

Xia held her shoulders and whispered, "it was not your fault..."

"but it WAS my fault. I was not strong enough to fight them off," she shouted, hiding her face. All her life she felt that her powers were enough to take care of her young miss. But that day she knew the disparity between power.

Xia sighed. "Then become stronger....strong enough that you will never have any regrets," he said with a soft smile.

With tears still streaming down her face, she gazed at him. "You are a good man, young master Xia,"

"you are also a good woman, Felia's maid," Xia said cheerfully. On his hindsight he spotted Long glaring at his master again. 'This silly guy, he never learns,' he thought as he stomped away.

"Jinjue," a soft whisper was heard behind him.

Xia froze and gazed back. "Did you say something?"

Felia's maid stood up, wiping her tears. "my name is Jinjue and I'm the last survivor of Dallion tribe,"

"It's nice to know Jinjue," Xia cheerfully laughed and walked away.

Jinjue's lips raised up in a smile. It was the first smile in a long time. Watching young master walk away, she knew that it was a good decision to trust him.

Xia dashed over to Long and smacked him on the head. "No glaring, okay?"

"okay," Long Aotian whispered with a sigh. he can't reproach his lover after all. anything he says, goes. he hugged and sniffed him. there was still a repulsive scent sticking with his lover's serene fragrance.

"Let's take a bath," he mumbled. wiggling his eyebrows, he gestured to the spring bath. he wanted to wash away that disgusting scent off of him.

"Nope, I'm gonna sleep," Xia whispered with a blush. he knew that bath with this lewd dragon would end up in a tussle in bed. with so many spectators, he didn't want any such occurrences.

"But...but...Xia~" Long whined as he followed behind his lover. "Please, that man's stench is on you,"

"No means no. even if I'm bathing, you are not allowed inside," Xia said with a hump. "Besides, you should be punished for leaving me alone,"

"Xia~ baby, I'm sorry," Long groaned.

The old dragon soul watched this with a small blush. 'Oh God, these two are going to do this and that. I hope they don't taint my delicate senses,' he prayed.

But sadly his wish did not come true.
