After a long time of back pats, the red dragon finally calmed down. He still pouted as he squatted on the floor. "I don't like him," he whispered.
"He is just a friend," Yukiya coaxed him. She didn't know what more to say. It was the first time she had coaxed anyone jealous, so she did not know what else to do. She softly patted his back while awkwardly standing up.
Long Ki gazed up at her with pitiful eyes. "I still do not like him," he mumbled.
Sighing, Yukiya also squatted next to him on the floor. "I asked him here because of the spirit crystal hoard," she whispered the reason. It was obvious why she had invited him in a hurry. But still the red dragon pouted and clung to her.
"Oh, why him? You could have asked me. I would have helped you out,"
Yukiya pulled back and gazed down at him. "Darling, did you forget that fell down from heaven? You don't have any subordinates here. How would you have a deal with such a big thing?" she whispered pensively.
Long Ki snorted. "I would have beaten everyone who comes for trouble," he said with his chest puffed up.
The Koi did not know what more to say to him. The red dragon was deliberately pouting and whining. It was not good for him to be so emotional when he was in his rut. It might cause some trouble to his cultivation later. She dragged him by his collar and kissed him hard. "Come on. He is not even into girls. Why are you being so jealous?" she shouted.
"I am not being jealous," he said defensively.
"You obviously are," Yukiya snorted.
"Am not,"
"You are.... fine, leave it. We can't stay in this place forever. So only I asked mumu," Yukiya said with a sigh. It was the fact. This red dragon cannot stay even a room far away from her and she.... she was still searching for her son. It was logical to stay in this place for too long, for her goal was to reach Nevada in two days' time.
Long Ki snorted and pouted. He hugged her tiny waist and dragged her over his lap. He was in his rutting period. Usually during this time the mates become quite possessive of each other. So it was quite hard for him to even be far away for one moment.
He gently kissed the small marks he made on her slender neck. "Maybe I should have continued." He said with regret dipping in his tone.
At this time the door banged and the man outside impatiently knocked again. "Yukiya.... are you gonna let me stay out here forever?"
Long Ki growled, gazing at the door. 'The annoying person is back. What to do... shall I go fight him to show my powers, or should I tolerate him trotting around my beautiful mate....' he thought as he clutched her tightly in his arms.
After softly caressing his forehead, Yukiya dashed to the door. "Coming!"
Long Ki held her hands and did not let go. "No, you are still not properly dressed,"
Even the red dragon was not dressed properly, he was wearing only his pants, because she stole his shirt. Yukiya sighed and got up, regardless. She walked over to the door, but she did not open it. "Mumu, can you go to the village and bring my clothes," she shouted.
"What! Your clothes are torn? Oh my, what a beast," Mumu said from outside the door.
Yukiya sighed. Her face became blood red just thinking about what they did in this very room. She wiped her face and whispered, "Mumu, Just get me some clothes please."
She gazed back to a scotching gaze that was following her everywhere. The red dragon looked like he really wanted to eat her. 'Hump, silly dragon, you should have done the deed when you had the chance,' she thought with a snicker.
After a long moment of silence, Mumu shouted back, "Fine, you should thank me. I brought you a new pair of clothes. They might come in handy." he knocked on the door again.
The door slightly opened it. He squeezed the clothes through the gap. The other side Yukiya yanked it and shut the door close.
"Happy now," she smirked at the pouting red dragon.
Long Ki walked over to her and plucked the clothes out of her hands. He buried his face in it and nuzzled. "Now you can wear it," he handed it back like a well behave puppy.
"Really, did you just scent mark it!" she exclaimed, holding onto the clothes. It smelt so strongly of his pheromones that she felt faint again. 'Darn, why am I getting lewd by the day?' she thought, fanning her extremely hot face.
"Yes can now wear it," he nodded.
She knew that a dragon in rut has its rationality reduced, but this is too childish. Yet still she found his actions to be extremely cute. Silently she wore the newly scent-marked clothes and opened the door.
Mu Feng stepped in immediately and walked past her. The first thing he noticed was the various cheery like marks on her skin. "Girlllll, you got laid!" he shouted excitedly.
Yukiya was mortifies. She hid her face in her sleeve and turned around. "Stop teasing me so much. We are here to talk business and business only. Nothing else."
"Not when you are smelling like that and looking like that," Mu Feng said and fanned himself. The entire room was filled with a strong cedar wood scent and faint lotus fragrance. "Did you hump everywhere or what? This place reeks," he whispered.
Long Ki growled, controlling himself not to launch himself on this annoying guy.
Mu Feng noticed this and daringly stepped towards him. "Oo lala, you found a catch. Look at this abs, those arms. I would like to be strangled by it," He moaned. He hid his mouth with his fan and gazed up and down. 'This guy is definitely a catch.... wow, Yukiya has good taste.' He then gazed down at his beautifully carved abs and mermaid v line leading into his pants. 'He would have been one tasty treat,' he thought, licking his lips.
"Stop it! He is already pissed." Yukiya could notice Mumu openly checking her fiancé out. It was not a good feeling. She dashed him front of him and hid the dragon completely from her friend's vision. 'So this is what it feel like to be jealous huh,' she touched her burning stomach.
Mu Fend noticed her narrowed eyes and snorted. "Why are you glaring at me, huh? I made it clear right...I don't like you. But I might like him..." he whispered and stepped forward.
Yukiya smacked him on his forehead, keeping him an arm's distance. "Thank you for the clarification," she said sarcastically. "Now, let's talk business!"
Mu Feng did not even gaze at her once. His eyes only followed the red dragon. "Yuki, if you are not serious about him. Can you give him to me? I would lie to cuddle to that," he purred.
"NO! I won't!" Yukiya shouted immediately and hugged her little dragon. No one is allowed to even see him like this. She swiftly draped his shirt on his half naked body and hugged him tight. "Mumu, stop with your games. It's not funny anymore," she said with a growl.
"Fineee. 50 percent is yours, fifty is mine. Deal?" he shouted.
"No!" she shouted.
Mu Feng nodded and summoned a small handkerchief out of his ring. He waved it at her and chuckled. "just like the old times, lets bid,"
Yukiya rejected immediately. "No, I don't want any percentage,"
"Girl, when money rains from the sky, you pick it up," he tried convincing her.
"No, I don't want it. It's not mine,"
Mu Feng sighed. He waved his kerchief and shouted, "But didn't you discover it. Okay, take a discoverers fee of 20 percent."
Yukiya rejected immediately.
Mu Feng swiftly held her hands and enclosed it with the kerchief.
This was one of the ancient ways of bidding. The seller and buyer usually hold hands and close it with a towel to hide it prying eyes. The buyer usually pinches the sells hands corresponding amount of times to indicate his bidding amount. It was not the most practical. But this was the method Yukiya was very used to; the fishermen always bit their fished to the highest buyer through this method. It was swift and pretty easy to follow.
After a long time of thinking, Yukiya nodded. "Maybe five and that a deal,"
Long Ki gazed at them both with a weird look. "What just happened here," he did not know what just transpired in front of him. One moment they were talking percentage, the next, they were shaking hands under a towel?
"We were bartering," Yukiya said.
"huh?"
"You know... we were setting our shares," she explained further.
"With a piece of towel?" Long Ki said.
"Yes!" both Yukiya and Mu Feng replied simultaneously.
Yukiya did not explain any further. She wanted the deal to end quickly and peacefully so that they can start their journey to Nevada. "Mumu, these villagers they are the ones who own most of the profit should go to. And I hope your family will protect them as well,"
"Hmm, definitely.. When have I been untrustworthy?" Mu Feng assured.
