'Goodness, I am in so much trouble.'
Xia che moved closer to the door and peaked out. He was only able to see moving people and their noticeable black clothes.
'That is definitely not my long. What should I do now?' the restraint on his neck was still holding back his spiritual powers.
He did not even have his golden glove.
'Shit, I really have no other way but to hide,' he swiftly ran over to the hay pile in the corner and burrowed in like a mole little rat.
He burrowed until his whole body was completely hid.
Outside, Sun Wei suddenly peered at the small decapitated house with interest. There definitely was a distinct smell of a demon coming from inside.
He nodded at his warriors to move forward.
The Rakshasas took care of the heavenly girds and easily cleared it. He stood in front of the room, sniffing once again. This scent was very familiar to him.... smelt like lotuses and something subtle mixed with it.
He kicked down the door and walked in with ease.
The room was empty.
He frowned slightly. 'Did that demon run away?' he glanced around at the conspicuous hay pile in the corner. 'That person is hiding,'
"Come out. I see you in that pile. You think you can hide?" he raised a brow. 'How can a demon be so useless?'
Xia che who heard this, froze. 'Fuck I'm so screwed....' he tightly gripped the dagger in hand. 'Have no other option but to wait here.. Let him come close.. I will try to fight my way out,'
But he knew that it would be useless.
He raised his hands up and walked out.
The man in front of him did not look like one of long's evil uncle's cronies. Instead, he was dressed up like a Rakshasa.
His long red hair was tied into small braids behind his head. The side of his head was shaved, exposing his pointed ears.
'Wait, a minute... is he a...'
"You...." the man pointed his way with his brows furrowed. His blood-red eyes peered at him intently. Suddenly, he leaned close and sniffed his neck. His thin lips rose in a dubious smirk. "I know your smell. Where have I smelt that?"
Xia frowned. 'What the hell do you mean? why do you know my smell?' he sniffed his armpits subtly. 'I don't smell though,'
Suddenly the man's eyes went wide... "You... you are Lian Hua's child!!!"
Xia froze. 'How do I reply to this? If I admit I am part Rakshasa, would he let me live. I don't think so... last time revealing that fact let me here..'
"How the hell did you survive. Didn't you die?" the man laughed out loud, nudging the other Rakshasa around him.
"I don't know what you are talking about,"
"You know what I'm talking about." The man scoffed. "Come with me. You don't belong here in heavens realm," he happily hugged his shoulders.
Xia just let him do that. 'I need to know if he is a friend or a foe,'
"Why don't you free my constraints, it's making it hard to breathe," he whispered pulling at the heavenly rope.
The man pulled at it with interest. "Good. Someone already leashed you like a dog. I don't have to do that dirty job." He smirked.
At that moment Xia knew that this man was not a friend rather he somewhat hated him.
Xia swiftly slashed at him with his dagger.
The man easily dodged and gripped the back of his wrist. "Tsk tsk... why are you always so hard to control. You have to be like your mother. She just surrenders,"
'Mother?' Xia peered at him intently.
"Oh I forget you don't know who your real mother is. I was the one who ripped your insides out and smashes you like a bug. But who knew.. she really found a sneaky way to make you live once again,"
The man snickered, and so did the nearby Rakshasas.
Xia just lowered his head. 'From the way he speaks, she must be alive. Did he capture her alive... but dad said she was dead.'
"Now, come, you have to go back to the place you belong,"' the man tied a chain around his neck and started to drag him around like a dog.
Xia che just obediently followed him. But along the way, he silently tore a string of his shirt and dropped it to the ground. Then he stomped on it to imbed it into the sandy ground.
'Long Aotian, you better come fast.. your dear lover is in danger,' he thought biting his lips anxiously.
If he was the only one who was at risk, he would have gladly even died peacefully but...
He placed a hand over his stomach subtly.
'I have a life I'm me... my death would mean my child will die... I can't let that happen,'
The man glanced back with a wide smirk. "You are also just like your mother ahh... so sweet.." he patted his cheeks.
Xia just recoiled from his touch.
"What? You are not going to fight back? Oh, I forgot you are nothing, but a leashed dog. Haha.... I wish you father was here to see this. So sad that I killed him so easily," he whispered, scratching his chin.
Xia che looked up intently at him. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, did I just hear a dog bark?"
"What did you do to my dad!!" Xia lunged at him. But the Rakshasas behind him retained him.
"Whoa spiteful... I like that. I don't like docile puppies. But the ones how bite there are the cutest," he chuckled.
"WHAT. DID. YOU. DO. TO. MY. DAD?" Xia gritted his teeth loudly.
"I said I early. I killed him, along with the other six demon lords. Who are they claiming to be demon lords when they are nothing but old cronies? It's time for others to get that position. And you are seeing at the new demon lord. Call me Sun Wei,"
"You killed him!!!" Xia struggled hard, pushing against him.
The man just looked at him with a smiling face. "You only look like your mother but it your character... it's just like your father. I like you more as minutes pass.. Warriors capture him and cell him. We are taking this puppy back with us,"
