Chapter 7：Unpacking Secrets

" Get up now bro, your breakfast is ready." Nomin sarcastically awaken Seb.

" Who are you. Why are you kidding me, about us. Why you are with my wife's soul." Seb queried.

" Hmm, she's not even dead bro. She's just a living dead, without human friends but me. Thanks to your Mom for putting me in this scenario for now, later, she'll be answerable to my boss. Come on here, let's squat on this bamboo floor." Nomin said.

The morning seem very quiet. Only the pipit birds sang skyward, on the trees outside the nipa hut. After a while Nomin pushed the banana leaf filled with ripe mabolos and bananas closer to him.

" Try these fruits, don't look at me like that. It stinks. We have a lot of things to talk when you're done." Nomin insisted while winking his eye to Seb.

Seb eventually tried the fruits after the long hours of hunger and psychological exhaustion. She brought you to an evil man who casts away spirits or buys them. The man said, if you'll be sold to him, he will put the evil's tail around your neck and the woman's curse will be gone and in return she will die too. When you have heard it, you pretended being asleep so they put you that 'habak' around your neck. There was a ritual, you were surrounded by your family members as they literally sold you to the devil. Your soul was pure so your guardian angel stayed within you till now and played as your soul, he sacrificed his lifeline just to give you hope and continue to treasure the love you have started. His name is Godem, its you Godem. On the other hand, Seb's soul was a little powerless that time, so he had given up and instead of being left to be a slave of a devil, he was evicted by Godem because he can only resist them. No one knew that its already Godem who does everything for your heart you have always preserved for Karla. In contrast, Seb's soul as evicted by Godem was saved by the head of the guardian angels and saved Seb's soul and called him - Nomin. That's me. The day of my eviction time sent me to this place, to this portal. When God learned what Godem did, he was punished and became a powerless wandering soul within you while I was given merit to continue your mission. They took yours and my memory together. You are Godem inside the body of Seb and had been a prisoner of two evils enslaving you through their tails in your 'habak.' Just days ago, when you were drunk, my spirit got inside an old man's body and luckily removed the 'habak' while the two dark shadows were a little away. When I've got the chance I transformed into a hawk and flew the 'habak' and thrown it to the sea. The salty water melted the dark shadows and forever they will be lost, but it's owner, my mom's deity, is still alive. We lived with Karla here for eight years, despite the absence for human contacts of intimacy, we survived to stay being together and were partly happy. But as the days go by, she's becoming lonely, I stayed young and she's getting older everyday. When she'd seen you, he seemed to have seen my older version. I, as Nomin is how Seb looked like eight years ago."

Karla moved closer and joined them.
