Asmodeus was trying to decipher the meaning of what the beast had just said.
'She is lost in her thoughts and doesn't respond when you call out to her?' He inquired and received a nod from the etcher.
This made the bird ponder on the information he had received in order to find any possible explanations for her odd behavior when he heard the etcher speaking once again.
'Just like she is right now.' Demon added as his eyes fell on his Master who was staring at the ground with a dull look on her face.
Hearing these words, Asmodeus felt no reason to mull over this matter any further.
The answer was simple in his mind as to why she behaved that way.
She missed her family which was why she was lost in thoughts about them whenever she could.
Having come to this conclusion, Asmodeus did not delve any deeper to investigate what the beast had mentioned.
'She might be that way sometimes.' He uttered without giving Demon any proper explanation.
Being just a beast with a higher consciousness, Demon was in no place to interrogate the God and ask for a better answer.
Therefore, he nodded his head and sighed in relief that there was nothing wrong with his Master.
Yvonne had no idea about the silent conversation taking place between her etcher and the God who had tossed her into this world.
Her memories of the family she loved and still loves flashed past her mind which had now faded away.
Coming out of her daze, she raised her head only to find Asmodeus leering at her etcher.
The Bird God was quick to notice her gaze and looked away from the beast as he focused his attention on her once again.
Suspicious as she was, Yvonne first glanced at her etcher who looked back at her with his deep crimson eyes blinking innocently.
This made her turn towards the other party and this time, she narrowed her eyes.
{What do you think that you are doing?}
She neither uttered a word nor did her mind think about it but that was the expression on her face right at this moment.
Asmodeus sneered at her for being so suspicious and for doubting him all the time.
However, his actions until now had led to the child's wary behavior towards him so there was no fault of hers in this matter.
Shaking his head, he grumbled for having appeared in this world because his presence was not being appreciated.
"Any other questions?" He inquired while fluttering his wings midair.
'Other than asking why is everything turning out to be so strange and out of the script?' She tilted her head and did not even bother to speak as she knew that he could read her mind anyway.
Asmodeus scoffed at her lazy behavior but did not answer the query she had placed before him.
"What should happen, will happen." He repeated once again, succeeding in infuriating the child.
Yvonne rolled her eyes at the God who was parroting the same words from before and understood that he would not be of any help to her.
"Just live how you desire to." He added a sentence which he hoped for her with all his heart.
"But can I do it when everything is appearing to go awry?" She retorted with a sour look on her face.
Asmodeus did not even know what this child was speaking about as he had no clue about her plan to stay away from the Royal family which had been wrecked today.
He simply assumed that she was speaking about the Prince who recognized her as his savior.
Therefore, he shook his head to reject the worries that she seemed to be having.
"You only need to worry about yourself, you foul-mouthed child," Asmodeus advised with a kind heart.
'The rest will go as planned.' He swallowed the words that followed his previous statement.
Yvonne scoffed as that was expected even if he did not ask her to do it.
She soon narrowed her eyes when he called her a name that she did not appreciate.
However, the Bird God was not interested in bickering with her any longer.
The only reason he had appeared was that she had dared to disrespect him by displaying that impudent gesture.
Now that everything had been sorted out, he decided that it was about time for him and his disciple to make their move from this world.
Staying over would not aid them in any way and would only use up their energy to maintain these bird forms.
Therefore, Asmodeus glanced at Theo who nodded, comprehending what his Master wished to relay to him.
They then glanced at the child whose wide eyes were staring at them without blinking.
"Remember what I said… Stay well." His final words echoed and under Yvonne's gawking eyes, the two birds disappeared just as quickly as they had appeared.
Yvonne stomped her feet in anger after Asmodeus left her those parting words and vanished from her sight.
'If you want me to live well then why are there so many stumbling blocks popping up at every turn?' She growled in her heart but there was no one here to hear her inner thoughts.
Demon could only hear what she let him so right now, no one knew of the thoughts swirling in that tiny head of hers.
With Asmodeus and his disciple returning to wherever it was that they had come from, Yvonne and Demon were the only ones in this place.
The grazing field was once again silent with no one making any sounds.
Her intention of coming over here was to spend some time with Demon but now, she was in no mood of doing so.
All she wished to do was throw her weary body onto her comfortable bed and forget about everything that she had experienced today.
'Can I make myself get selective amnesia?' She wondered if there was a way to forget all her troubles that initiated today.
Demon could sense the troubled state of his Master and truly hoped that God Asmodeus had helped him with the problem he had mentioned earlier.
However, the God had asked him not to worry and left while his Master still seemed to be apprehensive for some reason.
'Is everything alright, Master?' He inquired when he saw that she was still not speaking.
Yvonne snapped out of her wishful daze and glanced at her pretty etcher before nodding her head.
'I wanted to spend time with you but it looks like that would be impossible for now.' She sighed because all she wished to do right now was to drown in the land of dreams to forget about everything else.
Demon did not object as he understood that she had a lot to think about.
'Please be safe, Master.' He wished and bowed when the child began her short walk back to the Mansion.
As he watched her figure growing smaller, a thought struck his mind.
'Isn't my Master amazing!?' He marveled at the recollection of how she had not cowered in fear when the God had made an appearance right before her eyes.
Even he had bowed in fear and reverence but she had not done anything of that sort yet the God had not minded her rude attitude and even conversed with her for such a long time.
He could not make sense of most of their conversation but there was one thing that he was sure of.
His Master was one of a kind and he was extremely fortunate that he was fated with her.
After all, she was someone whom the God himself had come down to meet and interact with.
She was also someone who could raise her head and not be struck down by lightning for being disrespectful towards him.
Thus Demon was proud to have such a master and did not mind that she had not even given him a pat before she left.

Inside her bedroom, Yvonne pounced on her bed as soon as she took off her slippers.
On her way back, she noticed that the entire mansion was desolate and the servants had gotten back from their break.
She did not know that Theo had played a part in this so she assumed that they were taking a longer break and nodded as her old nanny and maid deserved one.
Now that she was all alone, she let out a low growl of dissatisfaction as she closed her eyes with the intention of falling asleep this time without fail.
