"Haha!" Eboni slammed the barrel of beer onto the table before wiping her mouth and shouting. "Now that's what I'm talking about. Let's do it!"

Eboni was the only one with such enthusiasm. Hearing only silence, she glanced around and found everyone deep in thought. She clicked her tongue. "Really? What's there to think about? We've spent the past six months grinding our levels and equipment on the community floors. The only way for people on our level to get stronger now is to consume elixirs, raise our skill levels, or get celestial grade or higher gear."

Her argument was reasonable. After top-tier guilds scouted out the forty-sixth floor months ago, they found that the difficulty had risen drastically. In the end, they decided to raise their strength as much as they could before ascending any higher. It had been six months since then.

Dubaku said quietly. "I agree… let's do it."

"What?" Eboni couldn't believe what she just heard. She turned to Dubaku with wide eyes. "What did you just say?"

Dubaku lowered his head. "Well, you guys wouldn't know, but the monster waves are still getting stronger. Egypt doesn't have a massive military like other countries. The casualties are starting to go up."

Roy and Jason gave each other a knowing look as a heavy atmosphere fell over the group. Almost every ascender basically ignored the monster waves and left it to the military. As they were among the strongest ascenders, many had called for them to take action. Only a few ascenders like Dubaku actually fought back the monster waves. While everyone was silent, Eboni suddenly clapped Dubaku on the shoulder with a bright smile. "So you aren't a coward, afterall!"

Dubaku only shook his head and smiled weakly.

Amara pulled out a thin book from her inventory and waved it around. "I don't know how he did it, but Index has once again released information about the tower."

"Index?" Carly's ears perked up at the mention of the name.

Dubaku was one of the people who benefited. He finally understood that his unique ability was not unique at all. It was actually the fourth realm. Thanks to Index, he no longer feared his ability.

After Amara spoke about Index, Shenlong gave Jason a strange smile. Jason could only shrug helplessly in response without saying anything. It wasn't hard for Shenlong to connect the dots. How many people knew about the fourth realm? Especially on actually reaching it.

Amara continued. "A few days ago Index gave out detailed information about the monsters on the forty-sixth floor. With this, we have a good chance at progressing."

Peter extended his hand. "Can I take a look?"

"Sure. I brought a lot." Amara handed everyone a copy.

While everyone was perusing the book, Carly couldn't help but get excited. "Index is so amazing. How does he know so much about everything? I'd really like to meet him."

"Bah!" Eboni smacked her lips. "Him, him, him. How do you know it's not a girl?"

Carly blinked. "Oh. Maybe?"

Eboni glanced down at the book in her hands. "Still, it truly is strange. Index knows stuff even top-tier guilds don't know."

After everyone digested the information in the book, Shenlong spoke up. "How about a vote? Raise your hand if you want to participate."

Jason, Roy, Olivia, Cheslov, Shenlong, and Peter all raised their hands. Their three groups had been discussing this for weeks now, so it was a matter of course that they were going to participate.

After a moment of thought, Amara raised her hand, followed by Eboni and Dubaku. The only two people left were Ebba and Carly.

Ebba glanced around before asking. "I'm interested, but as you all know, I don't have a guild backing me up. My gear is lacking."

Shenlong and Peter waved their hands dismissively. "Don't worry, naturally we'll lend you some equipment for this operation."

Ebba nodded and raised her hand. "Alright then."

Everyone turned to look at Carly. The girl cowered under their gazes. After a few moments, she bit her lip and raised her trembling arm. "I'll go…"

Shenlong clapped his hands. "Great! Then all that's left is to prepare. Me and Peter will handle the supplies."

"No problem." Peter nodded. Their two guilds were among the best, so they were plenty rich.

Jason turned to Su Long who was sitting in the corner. "Yo, Su Long. How about helping out?"

Su Long was startled at suddenly being called out. His first response was to decline, but when he saw Shenlong glare at him, he changed his mind. Coughing, he said. "Well, as long as everyone pays for the materials."

Ebba frowned underneath her hood. "What can a blacksmith do for a magician like me?"

Roy's face lit up as he began to praise Su Long. "A lot! Definitely! Su Long has the ability to enchant equipment with glyphs. It's super amazing."

"Glyphs?" Ebba hadn't heard much about Su Long, only some vague rumors. As she was a solo ascender, her information network was lacking.

Peter chuckled. "Great. I haven't gotten the chance to purchase Su Long's services yet. This is an unexpected surprise."

Now that everyone agreed to form a temporary party, they spent several hours discussing their abilities. Only in this way could they perform their best. It was also decided that Shenlong would lead the party. Only after it was late at night did the meeting end.
