Chapter 11

(AN: Sorry for the late chapter.)

Yang Chen had came back to the Dragon villa and was greeted by Wang Ma with no signs of Ruoxi in the house since she was at work.

After eating some food that Wang Ma had prepared, Yang Chen headed up to his room.

Yang Chen then made the Fountain of Youth appear in his hand and thought. 'After thinking about it for some time I realized that if I don't want to stay Immortal, I can just take out an Immortal killer weapon from the Gate of Babylon and end my life. But I hope it will never have to come to that since I don't think I'll be spending eternity alone.'

Yang Chen then smiled as he thought of Rose before ultimately deciding his choice.

Yang Chen then chugged the Fountain of Youth before making the cup disappear.

"Hmm, taste like strawberries, but I don't feel anything..." But before Yang Chen can finish, he blacked out and fell on his bed.

After a couple of minutes Yang Chen had woken up and felt something different, mainly in his cultivation.

Yang Chen felt his cultivation had soared to a new level after drinking the Fountain of Youth.

'So this is what it feels like to reach the ninth stage of the Endless Resolve Restoration Scripture, named Rebirth.' Thought Yang Chen, as he was circulating his True Qi all around his body.

(AN: Kind of BS I know, but I didn't want him to get it the same way the original Yang Chen did in the novel.)

'Although I have reached Xiantian Full cycle and drank the Fountain of Youth, I still have a major weakness which is my soul.' Thought Yang Chen and was contemplating on what he should do, before having an idea.

Yang Chen then made a soul cultivation manual appear in his hand and thought. 'This technique will not just make my soul stronger but it will also let me see other people soul's and if I wanted to, could destroy them only if they are weaker than mine.'

Yang Chen then sat in his bed, lotus position, and started to cultivate his brand new technique.

After a couple of hours, Yang Chen opened his eyes.

'I can feel my soul has gotten stronger than before, but I need to keep cultivating more since it could still be damaged or destroyed.' Thought Yang Chen.

Yang Chen then began thinking about his cultivation. 'Now that I've reached Full cycle, I feel that I could achieve Soul Forming Stage since I feel no bottlenecks. Is it because, I drank the Fountain of Youth?'

As Yang Chen kept racking his head with more questions his stomach growled.

"I should probably eat something since I haven't had dinner yet and I am pretty hungry." Yang Chen said as he decided to head downstairs to have dinner with Wang Ma and Ruoxi.

When Yang Chen got downstairs he saw Ruoxi sitting on the couch, watching a Korean drama and he just stared at her.

'I can see three souls with Rouxi, although one a bit weaker than the other two. The first two must be Ruoxi and Seventeen and the weaker one must be Athena. She must be recovering since her God powers are only at about 20% right now.' Thought Yang Chen as he kept staring at Ruoxi.

"What?"

"Nothing." Yang Chen said plainly and sat down on the couch next to Ruoxi and waited while watching TV since Wang Ma wasn't finished making dinner.

Ruoxi moved a bit further from Yang Chen and coldly asked. "By the way, I haven't had the chance to ask you, have you gotten a job preferably in an office?"

Yang Chen just looked at Ruoxi and nodded before turning back to watching the TV.

There was silence between the two as you could only hear the TV.

Ruoxi looked like if she wanted to say something before deciding to get it over with and say it.

"Hey, Yang Chen?" Ruoxi said in a low voice.

"Hm?" Yang Chen hummed in response as he turns to look at her.

"That night, why did you.."

"Dinner's ready!" Wang Ma who came out of the kitchen said from the dining table.

"Alright." Yang Chen said to Wang Ma before turning to Ruoxi and asking.

"I'm sorry, what were you saying?"

"No, it's nothing." Ruoxi said a bit disappointed since she couldn't ask what's been in her mind lately.

They then both went to the dining table and had dinner with some talk which was mostly from Wang Ma.

After finishing dinner, Yang Chen helped Wang Ma in washing the plates before heading upstairs to his room.

Yang Chen then brushed his teeth before going to sleep since tomorrow would be a busy day.

(Next day- Morning)

Yang Chen woke up feeling refreshed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.

When Yang Chen got downstairs he saw Ruoxi and Wang Ma having breakfast, so he joined them.

When they were having breakfast, Yang Chen suddenly said.

"By the way, I won't be able to come home tonight."

"Is there an occasion, young master?" Wang Ma asked.

"No, just staying the night over at a friend's place." Yang Chen replied as he smiled a bit, thinking of Rose.

"Friend?" This time it was Ruoxi who answered in her usual cold tone.

"Yes friend, well girl...friend." Yang Chen said a bit awkwardly as he didn't want to lie.

Suddenly the atmosphere became cold and Ruoxi turn to Wang Ma.

"Wang Ma, I'm full already so I'm heading to work."

"But young miss, you've barely touched your plate." Said Wang Ma worriedly.

Ruoxi ignoring Wang Ma got up and went to her car to leave for work.

Yang Chen not affected by the mood just continued to eat his breakfast.

When Ruoxi was gone, Wang Ma turned to Yang Chen and said in her usual caring tone.

"Young Master, you should be nicer to young miss."

"What do you mean? Doesn't someone repay kindness with kindness?" Yang Chen said.

Wang Ma understood what Yang Chen meant and said with a smile. "I know young miss can be...a handful sometimes, but she's a kind girl on the inside. Trust me, I raised her so please try to be a bit gentler with her."

Yang Chen didn't respond and remained silent for some time before going back to his breakfast.

Wang Ma just smiled as she knew what he was going to do.

(With Ruoxi)

When Ruoxi was on her way to work she was thinking in a bad mood. 'Why am I so upset right now. He can do whatever he wants, it's not like we're actually married and what does he mean girl...friend. He even sounded a bit happy when he said it, too.'

Ruoxi then thought of the time, Yang Chen gave her glutinous rice ball's and covered her in a blanket when she was sleeping.

'What am I even thinking, it's not like he did it with any motivation.' Ruoxi thought.

"Sigh...I'm tired and still hungry. I shouldn't have skipped breakfast." Ruoxi sighed tiredly as she said.

(With Yang Chen)

Yang Chen had made it to his office to finally open his official business. His company would be called ( ).

(AN: You guy's name it, since my creativity sucks.)

His business would sell all tech-related items like phones, computers, etc but slightly better than the rest of them out there, and the product that will make his company the most influential in China before going worldwide.

He isn't worried about people making moves the illegal way since his staff are all ex veterans of the sea eagle team which is one of Yang Chen's top mercenary groups, not counting his army and navy. And if anybody that has supernatural powers or any cultivators tries to interfere, well let's just say Yang Chen won't stay quiet.

After the company had made advertis.e.m.e.nts previously, many people from big families decided to try Yang Chen's self-healing bracelet and when they did, they were shocked.

A broken arm, an injury that should take weeks to heal, would just take a few day's time with the healing bracelet.

Yang Chen's self-healing bracelet's sold out instantly in the market. Although Yang Chen had an unlimited supply of them he didn't want to look suspicious so he released a limited amount.

Yang Chen and his company were busy all day out.

When Yang Chen was done with work he decided to pay Rose a visit, since he hasn't seen her all day.

(AN: Should I give him a new cultivation technique or keep it the same with the Endless Resolve Restoration Scripture. If yes, suggest some techniques.)

(P.S: Quick question. If rose sleep's with MC will she gain immortality, or will she have to drink the Fountain of Youth?)
