Chapter 77 - 76

(AN: I know my schedule is trash but I've been busy with work since one of my co-workers was hospitalized recently (nothing too serious) and I had to take over his shift. But I'll try to write more.)

A few days had passed since Lin Hui moved in.

Yang Chen was walking into the living room and could see Wang Ma and Lin Hui chatting together.

It was still early in the morning but Yang Chen already found this normal between them.

"Good morning, Young Master." Wang Ma greeted with a smile.

Lin Hui was dressed in white comfy pajamas that Wang Ma had picked out for her.

After finding out Ruoxi had a half-cousin, Wang Ma was extremely happy and wanted to do everything possible to get Lin Hui to feel at home.

They were both drinking tea as Yang Chen walked in.

"Good morning..." Lin Hui greeting with a shy smile

She was still getting used to her new living arrangements.

Yang Chen greeted them back while smiling slightly.

"Young Master, are you hungry? Would you like breakfast?" Wang Ma asked.

Yang Chen shook his head, "No, I'm good. I'll be heading out in a short while."

Wang Ma nodded before Yang Chen asked, "By the way, where's Hannya?"

"She should be cleaning the rooms at the moment."

Yang Chen nodded before he looked at Lin Hui.

"Lin Hui, when Hannya is done, she will be taking you to the company. Everything is already prepared so you just have to do your best." Yang Chen wished her luck since he didn't want his game to flop.

Yang Chen had already started working with Lin Hui a few days prior. And he was satisfied with the results.

Yang Chen had also brought many talented people that were experts in music from his side. He didn't want to handle the music instruments part himself for...personal reasons. But he was confident in their abilities.

Lin Hui may have had an excellent voice but she is still a beginner in this kind of stuff.

Yang Chen then waved them both goodbye as he was going to visit Jane. He wanted to check up on her and know how she was doing regarding the game project.

20 minutes later, Yang Chen arrived at Jane's residence.

It was a modern hotel suite. The only person that was staying in this building was Jane since her mother had bought this building for her daughter ages ago for her own protection.

When Yang Chen made it to the floor Jane was staying at, he entered without knocking since he was informed by Jane beforehand that he could enter whenever he liked.

The hotel suite had fancy wooden flooring, modern white leather couches, and sliding doors since they were still in Kyoto, and this place combined with Western and Eastern cultures.

This was Yang Chen's first time being here so he sensed Jane's location and found her in one of the 3 rooms that were in this large hotel suite.

It was a normal room with a big comfy bed on one side and the other, it contained many computer monitors. Yang Chen could also see a beautiful blonde woman in her leather chair typing away on one of the many screens.

It seems Jane hadn't noticed him as she was concentrated on what was on the screen. So he walked up behind her and softly tapped her on the shoulder.

Jane looked over as she felt something on her shoulder so she turned to look.

"Yang Chen!" She was surprised.

Yang Chen frowned as he could now get a good look at her face.

Jane had slight bags under her eyes and her skin looked quite pale.

"I messaged you that I was coming. Didn't you get it?" He asked with a visible frown on his face.

Jane lowered her head as she could see Yang Chen was mad. She didn't know the reason so she only thought of apologizing.

"S-Sorry, I haven't checked my phone recently."

"Ow!" Jane held the place she was hit with both her hands and looked at him with teary eyes. It wasn't because it was painful, but because it was done by Yang Chen.

"I should be the one apologizing. You're clearly overdoing it." Yang Chen said.

Although he wanted his game to be finished, he didn't want Jane to risk her health at the cost of finishing it.

Jane's heart couldn't help and start racing at Yang Chen's worry.

Jane nodded contently while smiling.

"Mn."

Yang Chen smiled and could now take a good look at Jane's outfit.

Jane was wearing a pink tight shirt while showing her amazing cleavage and white small shorts that left her t.h.i.g.hs and legs exposed.

Yang Chen took a deep breath as his male hormones were spiking.

Jane placed her hair behind her ear while doing extra movements that showed more of her cleavage toward Yang Chen.

Yang Chen was nearly exposed to god's light as Jane kept increasing her movements.

Jane was madly blushing as she knew she was bra-less at the moment. But that didn't stop her. The man she longed for was standing right beside her so why would she?

Yang Chen was about to pounce her but decided to f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y calm himself. This wasn't how he wanted to do things.

Jane felt disappointed as she saw his reaction. She had been waiting for many years to be accepted no matter what way.

"Jane, why do you still have feelings for me when I have a wife and have slept with countless women?" Yang Chen was straightforward and asked suddenly.

Even though he was transmigrated and had only slept with Ruoxi and Rose since then. He still had to use the original Yang Chen's past as his own.

And Jane knew of his a.d.u.l.tery with many women since they had known each other for years.

Jane was caught off guard by his question. She never would've thought he would ask that. She then smiled bitterly as she was reminded of reality.

Jane slightly lowered her head and said while biting her lip, " Because I want to. Is that reason enough..."

Ever since she and her mother were saved by Yang Chen, Jane had only thoughts of him. Throwing away her feelings had never crossed her mind and never will.

Yang Chen was slightly surprised. Was that it?

"...Then if I have a lover and a wife, do you still feel the same?" Yang Chen asked solemnly.

Jane was shocked. She didn't know this. She felt sad and happy at the same time. She was sad because Yang Chen had 2nd lover before accepting her and was happy because she still had a chance.

Jane quickly shook her head while biting her lip. "I do." She never cared about the number of women he was with, as long as he accepted her she was fine with anything.

Yang Chen scratched the back of his head. He didn't expect a straightforward answer like that.

After speaking with his women the other day, Yang Chen came to a realization. That he felt the same way for Jane.

So he wanted to be honest with her.

"Jane, I..." He wasn't allowed to finish as Jane cut him off.

"It's okay. You don't have to say it..." Jane said bitterly with a forced smile. She thought Yang Chen was going to reject her.

Yang Chen sighed once again. He knew what this woman was thinking and she couldn't be more wrong.

So he pulled her by her wrist and hugged her gently.

Jane was caught by surprise until he heard his words.

"Jane, if you're willing to be with me, just know that I will never abandon my woman for you or anyone. I know I'm selfish for saying this but this is how I truly feel." Yang Chen said seriously.

Jane didn't know what to say. Did this mean he accepted her? Forcing him to abandon his lovers for her never crossed her mind.

Yang Chen could feel Jane was trembling so he asked worriedly.

"Jane?"

Jane didn't respond and instead snuggled into his c.h.e.s.t as she was releasing tears. She had been waiting eight years for this moment.

Yang Chen smiled warmly and walked backward toward the bed while supporting her. He then fell on the bed with Jane laying on his c.h.e.s.t.

Jane couldn't contain her happy tears as she now looked at him.

Yang Chen felt warmth as he looked at her. He then wiped her tears and let her snuggle on his c.h.e.s.t.

A few minutes later, Yang Chen could see Jane soundly sleeping as her previous all-nighters had caught up with her.

Yang Chen gave her a weary smile and let her be. He was also happy at this moment so he held her as she slept peacefully.

(AN: Was this forced? I was going to wait for a few chapters before MC accepted her but then realized they already like each other and know it too. Jane will also be meeting Ruoxi and Rose in the future but I didn't do it sooner since if MC asked this of Jane, it would be weird. Well, do let me know so I could improve.)
