Han’s home.
Keqi became less nervous as he knew that Li Qinghao was taken away by Frise. He sat down and had a nice cup of tea while he was waiting for the incoming guest.
“You are having a nice time.” Frise showed up at the doorway.
Keqi looked up and smiled at her. The tea on the tea table in front of him was made warmly, as if he was expecting her.
“You are just in time, aunt.” He said graciously.
Closed the door, Frise sat down in front of him. “Sorry to keep you waiting for so long time, my dear nephew.” She picked up the teacup and took a sip. Every move she made was a role model of all kinds of noble ladies.
“You are right. I’ve been waiting for a long time.” He sat back, listening to the rain with eyes closed. He was shutting his mind out of the world.
Frise couldn’t read his mind even she raised him since he was little. But she had a feeling that he has grown strong enough to leave her. But before that, she would stop him.
“Don’t you have anything to say to me?” opened his eyes, Keqi asked as if he was hinting something.
“Since you already know it, I will be honest. I forbid you to be with that man.” Said Frise with a smile.
“Be with him?” laughed Keqi, “Did you say it wrong? Or did I hear it wrong?”
“Excuse me?” frowned Frise.
“I don’t get what you mean ‘be with him’?” Keqi stood up, walked to the window and opened the curtain. The room was brightened. It was still raining outside. “Are you saying that I am a gay?”
“You…” Frise was speechless because of Keqi’s straightforwardness.
“Aren’t those women I dated back in Leiluo enough to prove my sexual orientation?”
It was a fact because she arranged those women for Keqi. Those women reported to her on everything about Keqi, including for how many times they had sex. A real gay was not turned on by women. However… For what she read on the profiles, Li Qinghao was different for Keqi. But she couldn’t tell why he was different.
She was not sure if being a heterosexual was just a lie that Keqi made.
“One thing you should know is that my friends are more important than women. And Li Qinghao is my friend.” Keqi added.
A friend?
Fries narrowed her eyes and stared at him, trying to tell if he was telling a lie. Nothing. Friend? Keqi had a friend? She didn’t buy it. A friend? A friend with benefits?
Frise laughed in her mind.
“That means he won’t be in the way of our deal, will he?” Frise stood up too. She couldn’t push him too hard. If she did, Keqi might quit. Once he quitted, everything would ruined after many years of effort.
“I need insurance.” Keqi said, “if you give him back to me, our deal continues. I will take the throne and give it to you. By then, you and I are absolute strangers.”
“Give him back?” Frise laughed, “how can I get an insurance from you?”
“This is a risk, isn’t it? You can bet with me.”
“If you lie to me, I will hunt you down no matter where you go.” Frise left.
