Because of its special geographical and political position, Xiangjiang has not only become a world-famous cosmopolitan city, but also has a place in the antique market in the world. Now it has become a concentration of antiques in Southeast Asia and even connecting Europe and America.

Because of this, a large number of domestic legal or illegal cultural relics and antiques have stayed or are now lying in the antique market here for customers to choose from.

Xiangjiang's antique market is relatively concentrated, mainly located in the small blocks of legu Road, Hollywood Road and morrow Street on the west side of central.

Among them, the antique market, located on morrow street and Hollywood Road in shanghuan, Xiangjiang, is the largest one. There are thousands of shops gathered here. Each shop is not big, but there are a lot of goods. In addition to a lot of Ming and Qing porcelains that we are familiar with, a wide range of Southeast Asian art is also one of its characteristics, and the price is also higher than that in China.

Hollywood Road is a famous scenic spot of Xiangjiang, with the characteristics of the combination of Chinese and Western culture.

When the party came here, they all looked elegant and simple antique shops. The windows were full of ancient ceramics, pottery, jade, Ming and Qing furniture, antique calligraphy and paintings, coins and stamps, etc., but the prices were quite high. But even if you can't afford it, walking in this nostalgic atmosphere and slowly appreciating these antiques is actually a kind of enjoyment.

Therefore, Xiangjiang called it "window shopping" without spending money!

In the field of antiques, leak picking is always an unavoidable topic. It's the same here. As long as you have enough appreciation and care, you may be able to buy real antiques at a small price in some humble shops.

Of course, similar to the mixed situation of the domestic antique market, the antiques here in Xiangjiang are also true and fake, but the proportion may be slightly better than that in China.

However, we should pay special attention to the fact that although the proportion of counterfeits in Xiangjiang is less than that in China, the proportion of high-quality imitations is much more than that in China. For example, the counterfeit calligraphy and paintings of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the authenticity of Han and Tang dynasty ceramics, the dyed ancient jade pendant of Warring States period, and the fake bronzes are hard to distinguish if they are not professionals.

Different from other tourists, chuchen has plenty of time in Xiangjiang, so they don't need to rush with others. So they enjoy all kinds of antiques in every shop leisurely, listening to chuchen and Liu Sizhe's explanation from time to time, it's really relaxing.

However, after visiting several shops, they were still empty handed. Either they saw it was a fake, or they found it was genuine, but the price was too expensive, and the owner refused to reduce the price, so they had to let it go in the end.

After visiting two more shops, people came to an antique shop specializing in Buddhist supplies. There are all kinds of Buddhist statues, magic weapons, thangkas and so on. Of course, whether they are really handed down from ancient times remains to be discussed.

After appreciating and identifying, Chu Chen nodded in secret. Although most of the Buddha statues here are of ordinary workmanship, they are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Moreover, Josie asked about two Buddha statues over there. The price is not expensive. If there are Buddhist believers in his family, you can have one.

Of course, for chuchen, the price of the Buddha statue was ok, but for Josie, it was too expensive, and the boss, like the previous few, refused to bargain, so she finally shook her head with regret.

Chu Chen went to a glass cabinet in the middle of the shop. There were five Buddha statues in it. These Buddha statues were exquisitely made. They seemed to have a strong flavor of the Qing court. I think they were made by the court at that time. Of course, whether they were genuine or fake, you have to see them before you know.

"Boss, can I have a hand with these Buddha statues?" Chu Chen asked the boss sitting at the door.

"Yes!"

The boss stood up, went to Chu Chen and opened the glass door. Then, just as he was about to take out his hand cover and hand it to Chu Chen, he found that Chu Chen had put on his imposing gloves, so he said with a smile:

"it seems that you are also a member of the industry, sir!"

Chuchen nodded with a smile and said, "I have some hobbies in this area!"

"Love is good, now young people play this, only know money, a copper stink, it is a blasphemy to Buddha!" The boss expressed his feelings.

Chuchen said with a smile: "everyone's ideas are different, and on the other hand, even for the purpose of money, he always needs to know some information. Does not this also make the culture spread?"

"It's the same here!" The boss thought about it and said with a smile: "it seems that you can see it thoroughly. I'm a bit of a fish out of water! Well, I won't disturb you any more. Enjoy it slowly. "

Chuchen nodded, then picked up one of the bronze gilded Manjusri Bodhisattvas and looked at it.

Among the five Buddha statues in the glass cabinet, two are Sakyamuni Buddha, one is Manjusri Bodhisattva, and the other two are pharmacist Buddha. All of them are made of copper gilded gold, and the production level is different. However, chuchen still likes one of the pharmacist Buddha placed in the niche best.

The statue is 19 cm high, fully seated, with a plump and upright face, prominent white hair, curved eyebrows and long eyes, and slightly drooping eyelids. Wearing the right side cassock, only the lotus pattern with tangled branches is carved on the edge of the cassock, so that the beautiful curve of the statue can be displayed under the thin clothes. The Buddha's left hand is placed in front of the umbilicus to apply the Zen seal and to beg, while the right hand is used to apply the Shi Shengyin, originally holding the Terminalia. There are two beads on the upper and lower edge of the pedestal. The lotus petals are slender and full of tension, which is one of the main features of the palace statues of Qianlong Dynasty.

Combined with the above artistic features and other features, it is likely to be a palace work of Qianlong period, which is quite rare.

What's more, this statue of pharmacist Buddha has its original niche.

Niche, that is, used to worship the Buddha, the niche of the small attic. Niche originally refers to the excavation of rock cliff for empty, used to place the Buddha, the volume is quite huge.

I don't know when it began. Small cabinet made of stone, wood or other materials was used to worship Buddha statues. In this way, it was convenient to worship Buddha statues at home and carry them around, so as to facilitate the spread of Buddhism. Later, it gradually became popular.

Especially in the Qing Dynasty, he attached great importance to Tibetan Buddhism. Emperor Qianlong thought that he was the reincarnation of Manjusri Bodhisattva, so he had a strong belief in Tibetan Buddhism. As a niche for worshiping Buddha statues, it was essential. At that time, a well-made niche was usually completed by many departments of the manufacturing office.

In terms of craftsmanship, this niche is a typical palace style of Qianlong period.

The niche is made of red sandalwood, with animal face and longevity pattern. It is 39 cm high, with six square Pavilion shape and xumizuo. The hexagonal column is surrounded by a sealing plate, which is called "Pilu cap". Pilu cap is a dome type roof, hexagonal, square with a circle, with relief hook and cirrus. The top is made of square Hetian Sheep fat jade.

In addition, there are six types of wall in the pillars, a group of inclined "*" brocade patterns are carved on the front plates on both sides, and the open door is in the middle. In addition, there are inscriptions in Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan characters behind the niche.

This niche, no matter from its shape, decorative style and wood carving level, is very similar to the jade carving craft at that time. It embodies the typical characteristics of the Qianlong Dynasty. It not only reflects the sincerity of the Qing Dynasty Royal family to serve the Buddha, but also reflects the hope and direction of the emperors and empresses for a long life.

There is no doubt that such niches are very rare. In addition, the original bronze gilt Medicine Buddha, which is exquisitely made, is even more valuable. It has a high collection value and is a treasure that can be met but not sought by Buddhists.

After carefully observing the features of the Buddha statues and niches, Chu Chen can be sure that this is indeed a genuine one from the Qianlong period. Of course, after watching it, whether it's to verify your judgment or to accumulate the progress of the ability upgrade, it's necessary to use the ability once.

However, when Chu Chen used his powers, there was an accident. It was originally a Buddha statue and a Buddhist niche. After he used his powers, there were three powers, and one of them was no less powerful than a treasure worth tens of millions or even hundreds of millions. This really shocked him.

In this case, no matter how stupid Chu Chen was, he knew that there should be a treasure hidden in it. So he immediately used the Lingbao eye. Immediately, he found a hollow thing made of white jade at the top of the niche, which looked like a finger bone.

Seeing this, Chu Chen frowned, because the appearance of this thing is really a little strange, high value, not to mention, but also solemnly placed in the niche, what is this thing?

However, he quickly realized that apart from offering Buddha statues and deities, there was something else to offer in the niche. It was obvious that it was a relic that ordinary people could not see!

This discovery made Chu Chen very shocked and excited. You know, this is a relic, a very sacred thing in the Buddhist belief, and a treasure that Buddhists dream of.

In short, sariki is the crystal produced by the monk after cremation. In modern people's eyes, this kind of crystal is of course nothing in terms of composition, but there is no final conclusion on why it is formed in the aspect of experimental research at present.

Most speculate that the formation of sarikos is related to the chemical reaction of cremation of bones and other objects. Another popular belief among the people is that if people leave for a long time and are full of essence, there will be strong relics.

According to the Buddhist scriptures, the Buddhist relic was naturally felt by the monks during their lifetime because of the virtue of abstinence and wisdom. It is precisely because of this that Buddhists respect the Buddhist relic and the Buddhist disciple's relic mainly because of the virtue, compassion and wisdom of the eminent monk before his lifetime.

Generally speaking, there are three kinds of relic: the bone relic is white, the hair relic is black, and the meat relic is red. Needless to say, the bone relic in the Buddhist niche is also the finger bone relic, which is very rare and precious.
