On the evening of the next day. Inside a fancy horse cart, a male magic caster who wore a high-quality silver color Mage's robe was sleeping. On the robe, there were six Magical Earth Stones embedded in the left chest area. Sitting next to the magic caster were six Saint-tier warriors who have served him for more than three thousand years. The horse cart came to a sudden stop which jerked a little bit and woke up the magic caster.
"What happened?" The Mage asked in an angry tone.
"Executioner Jarevar, there is a Wind Mage wearing a red robe, and he is flying inside a mighty [Gust] zone. I saw over two hundred human corpses on the ground. He could be a Rogue Mage that massacred those people. Do you need me to handle him?" The horse cart driver asked.
The horse cart driver is a tenth-tier warrior. He knew this Wind Mage is very strong and it would be stupid to step inside his [Gust] zone. It doesn't matter if this Wind Mage is friendly or not. If the horse cart driver was here by himself, then the first thing he would do is run away as far as possible.
Because of being too far from Harbek's group, the Wind Mage casted [Wind Detection] to observe Harbek's group movements and then casted [Whispering Wind] in order to communicate with them. He asked in a mocking tone, "Is there a Harbek Jarevar here?"
[Whispering Wind], level 25 Wind spell. This spell allows its caster to deliver or receive voice messages within a ten miles radius. Because of this spell, Wind Mages are commonly selected to be scouts because they can instantly transmit their messages to allies. This was the same spell used by the arena announcer to transmit voice messages to the audiences.
Calling Harbek by his first name and without referring to his title as Executioner is a sign of great disrespect. Harbek's group could guess that this Wind Mage was not friendly toward them.
"Who is asking?" Harbek asked in an angry tone.
"Six years ago, you executed a Blood Mage at the Glomer city. Do you remember his name?" The Wind Mage asked.
"I have executed many dogs and bitches. There is no way for me to remember all of their names. Why are you asking me this? Are you the one responsible for those human corpses?"
The Wind Mage activated his Twin Soul, a dark red energy ball was flying on his left hand while a green energy ball was flying on his right hand.
"I see, you are also a Blood Mage. You have massacred over two hundred people just for your personal advancement. This is the reason why I became an Executioner. So I can hunt down evil Blood Mages dogs such as you."
"Those human scums refused to leave the area when I asked them to. Therefore, every single one of them deserved to die.”
“There are children amongst them.”
“So?”
“Why are you still here? Why haven’t you run away after learning of my name? Are you stupid or are you just clueless about how powerful I am?”
“Powerful? You?”
“Ah, I understand now. Are you here to avenge for the dog that I have slain in Glomer city? What is his name? I have really forgotten.”
“His name is Duinir Eroth. Harbek Jarevar, I'm here to help you remember better."
"Haha… Are you so confident because Wind Magic has an advantage against Earth Magic? Let me tell you something, little boy. I have created unique Earth magic spells that will be so greatly efficient against Wind Magic. Tell me your name so my associates can write it down for my report to the Mages Council later. No worry, I will soon forget your name just like I have for all the dogs and bitches I have killed before."
The Wind Mage laughed out loud and said, "My name is Etgar Revenmar, Guild Master of the Blood Mages Guild."
"Blood Mages Guild? Haha… a bunch of dogs got together to establish a Guild. How ludicrous."
Harbek casted [Ward of Stability] on himself to prevent being influenced by the powerful [Gust]. Harbek turned around and told his warriors, "This Blood Mage is at the Legend-tier. You guys won’t be able to defeat him. Just step back and let me handle this.”
[Ward of Stability], level 40 Earth spell. This spell will grant its caster and/or allies stability against enemies' spell effects. That means Etgar's [Gust], [Whirlwind], and [Gravity Manipulation] spells won't have any impact against Harbek as long as he has enough mana to maintain the [Ward of Stability]. This spell scales with the caster’s magical strength. The stronger the caster is, the better [Ward of Stability] can perform.
[Gravity Manipulation], level 40 Wind spell that allows its caster to freely manipulate the gravity within a two thousand square feet radius. This spell will not scale with the caster’s power. However, the range and effect can be modified to be wider and stronger as long as the caster is willing to spend more mana to maintain it.
"Yes, Executioner Jarevar." Six Saint-tier warriors and the tenth-tier warrior instantly responded. Six Saint-tier warriors won’t have any problem fighting with one Legend-tier magic caster. But if the magic caster is a Blood Mage, even two hundred Saint-tier warriors won’t even stand a chance of prevailing.
Harbek walked inside the [Gust] zone knowing its powerful wind pressure will not put any effect on him. Just to be sure, Harbek casted [Stone Skin] and [Magnetic Shield] spells on himself.
[Magnetic Shield], level 35 Earth spell that will create a magnetic shield with a radius of six hundred square feet to block all physical and/or magical attacks toward its caster. This spell can only be self-cast. Any allies staying inside a six hundred square feet radius will be protected as well. The radius can not be increased to be wider but the strength of the magnetic shield can be improved to block stronger spells casted by enemies. The caster can set how strong [Magnetic Shield] he/she wanted it to be. However, The stronger [Magnetic Shield] was set is the more mana in maintaining the spell it will cost.
Etgar asked, "Are you ready now?"
Instead of giving Etgar an answer, Harbek casted [Earthen Hawk] ten times and commanded them to attack him.
[Earthen Hawk], level 25 Earth spell that will create a hawk from the ground. Earthen Hawk has physical strength on par with a sixth-tier warrior and it can cast [Earth Blast] spell. Different from Summoning and Conjuration spells, [Earthen Hawk] will not need its caster's mana to stay alive or restrict its caster from mana regeneration.
[Earth Blast], level 15 Earth spell that will shoot out numerous rock projectors toward enemies. All the rock projectors created by [Earth Blast] will fade away as soon as they touch the ground.
