Etgar nodded in happiness when he saw more than two thousand Vampires were convened. Indeed, Etgar still wanted to show off his real power by activating the [Vampire Lord Transmutation] spell and transformed himself into a Vampire Lord. Etgar’s physical outlook rapidly changed into a Vampire that has the size twice as big compared to a normal Vampire creature. Two pairs of bat wings, one pair of black below and one pair of red above, were growing out from Etgar’s back. Furthermore, Etgar still has five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot. Etgar immediately casted [Darkness] to enhance the power of himself and his convened vampires.
[Vampire Lord Transmutation], level 50 Blood spell that will transform the caster into a Vampire Lord. Different from the regular Vampire creatures, Vampire Lords were granted the ability to cast magic spells and have five unique spells dedicated to them.
Five unique spells dedicated to Vampire Lord are [Darkness], [Haze Mode], [Enclosing], [Deflection], and [Vampiric Clench]
[Darkness] will create numerous fog created by magic to temporarily prevent the sun from being visible for five minutes. This will allow all vampire creatures to fight at their maximum power.
[Haze Mode] can transform the Vampire Lord into vapor for five seconds and grants immunity to all types of damages.
[Enclosing] will create a zone sealed by a circular magical barrier to prevent anyone or any creature from coming in or coming out.
[Deflection] will grant a passive effect for the Vampire Lord to deflect all types of physical attacks.
[Vampiric Clench] can psychically choke a target to death within fifty feet radius regardless of whatever physical or magical barriers that target have.
Those five unique spells are extremely strong but can only be useful if the Vampire Lords use it on enemies that have weaker magical resistance scores compared to their magical penetration rates. God-tier warriors and Saint-tier magic casters will have stronger magical resistance scores compared to the magical penetration rates of Legend-tier Vampire Lords.
Etgar commanded his vampires to destroy all the castle’s doors. More than two thousand vampires immediately obeyed and flew toward the [Living Fortress]. The Living Fortress used its hands to block, punch, and slap various vampires but were unable to stop all of them. Less than two minutes later, all the castle’s doors were pulverized. Etgar flew toward the castle and used [Wind Detection] to determine Harbek's correct location. Etgar then flew inside the castle and casted [Vampiric Clench] to psychically choke Harbek when he was still hiding behind seven warriors regardless of his [Ward of Stability], [Stone Skin] and [Magnetic Shield] spells were still active.
Being choked by the [Vampiric Clench], Harbek was not able to speak and could not finish chanting any other spell. However, Harbek had finished chanting for [Tree of Life] earlier and stored it in his ready to cast list. Harbek casted [Tree of Life] and a magical tree was created inside the castle. The [Tree of Life] tried its best to heal Harbek and managed to keep him alive… briefly. The Tree could sense that Etgar was the enemy but it won’t attack him as long as he does not attack it first. To be honest, that stupid Tree’s attacks wouldn’t cause any scratches on Etgar in his Vampire Lord form and have [Deflection] activated.
Six Saint-tier warriors and the tenth-tier warrior drew their swords out and repeatedly struck at Etgar at full force. But too bad, all of their attacks were deflected by the Vampire Lord’s [Deflection] spell.
The Tree saw its healing won’t be strong enough if this drags on and its creator will soon die. Didn’t know what else to do, the Tree jumped in front of Harbek to protect him even though it’s useless against the Vampire Lord’s [Vampiric Clench] spell. Two minutes later, Harbek was choked to death with his eyes wide open because he couldn't accept what had just transpired.
The [Tree of Life] faded away while the [Living Fortress] disintegrated since there was no mana to maintain them after Harbek was dead. Etgar shook his head and thought to himself, “If I was still stuck at the Legend-tier, then even with the help of [Blood Extricate], my [Vampiric Clench] wouldn’t be able to defeat Harbek. Harbek was truly strong. No wonder why Master Eroth was killed by him. If Master Eroth was a Blood and Wind Mage, he would have managed to escape. Master Eroth was a strong Blood and Conjurer Mage, but just not strong enough...”
Etgar took the six Magical Earth Stones from Harbek's robe and put it in his pocket. He turned toward the seven warriors that were attacking him before and asked, “Tell me the truth if you wanted to live. Why Harbek wanted to speak with the King of Sungaria?” No warrior answered. They have lived for too long to know that they can’t trust a Blood Mage such as Etgar.
Etgar smirked when he was about to give the order for his Vampires to kill all of them. But after four seconds of thinking, Etgar decided to keep them as prisoners and torture the truth out of them. The Blood Mages Guild was secretly built underground inside the Sungaria Kingdom. What if the King knew about it and wanted to inform the Mages Council? What if... Etgar needed to know the real reason why Harbek Jarevar was on his way to Sungaria. If his Blood Mages Guild was exposed, then he had no option but to declare war with the Mages Council early. The King of Sungaria can either join him or he will massacre the entire nation to make an example out of it. If Harbek was on his way to visit Sungaria for some bullshit political reasons, then that would be the best.
Etgar gave the order for his vampires to attack the six Saint-tier warriors and kill the tenth-tier warrior. A worthless tenth-tier warrior wouldn't know any valuable information anyway. The tenth-tier warrior was quickly torn to pieces by the Vampires while the six Saint-tier warriors fought their best and slain more than a thousand vampires before being captured alive after receiving severe injuries. Of course, all fallen Vampires were revived by [Blood Extricate] which made those warriors feel like they were fighting an endless battle.
