The Hell Fiend screamed in pain. It got angry and lashed out a powerful flame tornado using [Firestorm] while catching the icy greatsword using its left magma hand. The [Firestorm] quickly spread out and surrounded Maetheus and itself, prevented him from escaping. Maetheus smiled as he casted [Holy Aura] spell that also quickly spread out to surround the Hell Fiend and himself, to prevent it from escaping as well.
“Fiend, Look like we will fight within this Holy Aura Firestorm until one of us is dead.” Maetheus calmly advised the Hell Fiend.
“Bring it on, ugly angel!” The Hell Fiend shouted as it regenerated the right arm while landing left hand a magma punch on Maetheus. Maetheus casted [Circle of Protection] to block the Hell Fiend’s magma punch attack while swinging at it using his icy greatsword.
[Holy Aura], level 45 Light Magic spell. This spell will create a Holy Aura of up to a hundred thousand square feet to protect an area that could prevent enemies/allies from coming in/out without authorization. An ally/enemy who is strong enough and willing to spare a large chunk of his/her mana pool could break through the [Holy Aura] to get in/out of the protected area. Most of the time, the enemies decided to fight inside the protected area and kill the Light Mage to get rid of the [Holy Aura] spell instead of wasting mana trying to get out.
Vonda raised both of her hands and started chanting for another self-created Saint-tier Fire Magic spell. Everyone could see flames were shooting into the sky but no one knew what was the spell Vonda was going to cast. But one thing everyone knows for sure and that is the spell Vonda going to cast next could not be weaker than [Fumgar], [Petrification], or [Magmanian].
Boom! A loud explosion nearby that could be heard by everyone in the vessel of the Red. Inside Aber’s cabin, Aber was sitting on a chair while Violet was laying on the bed while Executioner Wayne Palmer was standing guard at the door.
Aber turned his gaze toward Wayne and asked, “Executioner Palmer, should we go up on the deck to help out?”
“I was assigned to keep you safe here, Miser Hardy.”
“Sister Violet, what about you?”
“This is none of my business. I am not a member of the Red nor I am a warrior that serves Lord Hardy. I tagged along on this trip because you are my brother. Their fight is not my fight. I won’t die for someone else's battle.”
“I am not a member of the Red either, but it seems like we should go up there to help them out.”
Knock. Knock.
Wayne asked, “Who is it?”
“Markus Berethryl.”
Wayne opened the door and welcomed Markus and Enye Larson to come in, “Executioner Berethryl, Enye, please come in.”
Markus walked in, looked at Aber and Violet then asked, “Would you kids like to go up on the deck to watch the battle?”
Aber nodded his head repeatedly while Violet remained idle. Aber said, “Yes, I would love to watch the battle.”
“Follow me then.”
“Executioner Berethryl, Lord Hardy assigned me to keep Aber safe.” Wayne humbly advised Markus about this.
“Then you should come with him as well.”
“I think we should remain here.”
“Heh? Are you afraid of those Blood Mages, Executioner Palmer?”
Without waiting for Wayne to respond, Markus said, “Aber, Violet, if you want to see the battle then follow me.” After that, Markus walked out of the room and Enye quickly followed him. Violet turned to look at Aber because she wanted to see what he chose to do. Aber rushed out the door to follow Markus. Violet and Wayne sighed softly then followed after him.
Upon arriving at the deck, Aber could see Vonda had both of her hands raised, and flames kept shooting out from her hands. Aber had no idea what Vonda was doing but he knows it definitely has to be one of her self-created Saint-tier Fire Magic spells.
Vonda saw Aber and she opened her eyes widely. Vonda was still chanting her spell and couldn’t say anything but Aber could feel she was angry at him for going outside of his room. Vonda saw Executioner Berethryl was standing in front of Aber, she then calmed down and continued to focus on chanting the spell. Executioner Berethryl is much stronger compared to Vonda, she believed he won’t allow anything bad to happen to Aber.
Boom! Boom! Two other loud explosions could be heard from Aber’s location. He looked around and found a [Firestorm] wrapped around a [Holy Aura] and the explosions came from there. Aber could not see anything that happened inside it but he believed the individuals that were fighting inside are much stronger than he currently is. It was the battle between Vonda’s Hell Fiend and Mival’s Soul-Bound creature. Less than twenty seconds later, Aber saw the Holy Aura disappear and an angel fell from there to approximately a hundred twenty feet in front of his location. The angel had its wings burned, broken armor pieces, and he could not move anymore. Aber carefully observed the angel and noticed he was dead because his body was slowly fading away.
The Hell Fiend laughed out hysterically and said, “Ugly angel, you are no match for me!” It then turned toward Mival and flew toward him.
“That blue color tiny demon, isn’t it just a Hell Fiend? How can I get a chill from hearing it laughed?” Executioner Palmer asked Enye since she is a level 81 Fire Mage.
“Ah, that must be Lord Hardy’s Hell Fiend. Even I won’t be able to defeat it easily.”
“What? Isn’t that dangerous if none of us can defeat it? I heard Hell Fiend can not be controlled, what if it ran away from here? How are we going to catch it?”
“You think too much, Executioner Palmer. Hell Fiend still listens to the Fire magic caster who has summoned it. It will listen for an hour after being summoned. As long as the Fire Mage who summoned the Hell Fiend can sweet-talk to it, then it won’t disagree with the summoner’s requests during that hour.”
“I’m confused. I thought Hell Fiend wouldn't listen at all. What happened after it was summoned for over an hour.”
Markus got a little annoyed by Wayne’s questions, he said, “How the f**k did you make it to be an Executioner? Its summoner will backstab and kill it before the duration of one hour expires. It’s just that simple. All Legend-tier Fire Mages knew about this rule.”
“Pardon me for I didn't know about it since I’m an Ice Mage.” Executioner Palmer explained.
“If you are a rookie Executioner then I can forgive that, but you are a level 50 Executioner Ice Mage, you should have known this. Now silent and stop asking stupid questions!” Markus yelled.
